Michael was friendly concerned about us being out in the cold, loaded the car in minutes and took it to the nearest garage. He then transported us home which was titslly unexpected. Our insurance company contacted hurricane hauling to get our plow truck out of a deep ditch…read more The insurance company kept saying they were only a short distance away, but did not take into account that the driver had other calls before us. It was a long wait, but we understood as we needed a heavy duty vehicle/wench to get our truck out. When we called for updates, the driver was very polite and tried to give us his best estimate for arrival. When he got to the site, he was polite and efficient, even between getting calls while he was hooking up our vehicle. I read past reviews and I'm sorry other people had such poor experiences. If we had been waiting in the vehicle, it may have been a different story but... Other than time frame for arrival, we had a good experience with Hurricane Hauling. They are currently looking for dependable drivers and plan to increase the number of trucks in their company to cover the demand so I'm sure service time will improve!

After 3 hours of no answer and no show, I had to contact my insurance company and cancel and then call another tow company. What a waste of a day. Do not use Hurricane Towing. They are awful, don't communicate, don't show, and should not be in business. I wish I could rate them 0 stars.

The safety inspection required only a few minutes and I was done, for the standard fee, so I would not hesitate to go there again.
