Took Station Cab from Rahway train station, dispatch office is conveniently located at the Rahway Train Station. Driver seemed sleepy or.. well got me to the hotel quickly using the shortest route late in the night. Charged fixed $6 just over a mile journey. Station Cab picks you up 7 days a week call (732) 388-2222 Will use them again on the next trip. However if I arrive in the day may just walk to the hotel. read more

I've used Rahway cab twice. Both times the drivers were prompt and ontime. They didn't delay in taking me to my destination. Driver A was courteous and took my bags. He also offered polite conversation. Driver B wasn't in such a hospitable mood. He didn't offer to take my bags nor was not in a social mood. I always ask the price before using the service. Price seemed to be consistant. Over all i didn't feel uncomfortable in either ride and arrived quickly and safely to my destination.. I would use this service again read more

I called for a taxi a few times and end up waiting 30-40 minutes which is ridiculous it's very upsetting

My driver arrived on time and was very nice. He helped with my luggage, drove safely and was VERY sweet. However the car smelled like smoke. My very nice driver informed me that they allow people to smoke in the cars. They have smoking and non-smoking cars. The dispatcher who took my reservation did NOT ask me if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking car. If you are going to allow customers to smoke in a taxi - which is ridIculous to begin with - you should ASK them, when they call to order the cab, if they prefer a smoking or Non- smoking cab I have asthma and can't breath in a smokey car. Im $60 to go to Newark airport and now I will smell like smoke all day. Remember to order a NON smoking station cab. read more

Today I had one of the top three worst taxi experiences I've ever had...and the trip was only three blocks long! First of all, sitting in the waiting room for Station Cab was like sitting in the middle of a dirty ashtray. I was on my way to a funeral right down the block from the station but it was extremely cold, so I decided to to take a cab. When I told the driver that I was going to a funeral home, he asked if it was a friend, was it male or female, etc. When I answered that it was a woman who was a friend of mine, he started making a loud "WAAAH" sound, as if he was mocking the sound of a person crying...(???) Even if that wasn't his intention, making a weird sound effect while pumping the brakes and almost swerving into the way of a car coming in the opposite direction was severely unpleasant. If this guy was any indication of the kind of drivers they hire, walk instead. Terrible. read more

I used this cab on June 12 2017 not realizing I had given them a bad review here two years ago. Shows me I should do my research. Driver talked too much, swore repeatedly, and told me stories about how he's rude to his customers and how he made it a point to look up the skirt of a young girl in his car who was drunk. Charming. Also, they charged me $65.00 for the trip. The taxi home from the airport was less expensive. Seriously. DON'T waste your time with these guys! read more

I wish it allowed me to rate a 0. I only used this cab today because I was rushing and could not wait for an Uber. Wish I had gotten up a little earlier. Not only is this cab overpriced, but, the drivers smoke cigarettes in their cabs, the cars are dirty and today's driver and many others are rude. To top it off on top of my $12, 2 mile ride, I was charged an additional $2.50 to use my debit card. I will stick to Uber or the guy outside who owns his own gray cab. Was extremely disappointed in the service that I received earlier in the week. Went into the location and stated that I wished to be dropped off near the Leesville scrap yard and was dropped off two blocks away. It wasn't so much the extra walk that had to be done but the fact that the driver was rude about it and put the blame on his "boss" stating that they monitor me and this is as far as I am going and it is $6.00 to here. And to boot the driver was on his cellphone 75% of the ride which A. is illegal in the state of NJ and B. I really don't care to hear about your daughter's laptop. Will never use them again seeing how I did not get the service that I requested and had a rude driver to boot! read more

I have been using it on multiple occasions recently. It's fine. Although one taxi I stepped into, it had a heavy cigarette smell and the guy was playing loud heavy metal and folk music. Very odd combo. Nevertheless, the taxi came and brought me to the Rahway train station. read more

The everytime when I call the station cab the person on the other side of the phone talks very rude to me. I thought it was just 1 time affair but he is rude in general. Thats the only cab service that accepts cards so I have to use their service. All the cab drivers are super good.but this person on phone is worse. read more

We missed our train last night from New York to Metro Park but caught one to Rahway, thinking we'd get a cab from there to Metro Park. I called Station Cab and talked to the guy there who was very nice & said when we got in to just come down to their office at the train station & he'd get us a car. I did & he was very nice, more so than most people around Midnight on a Tuesday, and we had a cab there within 2 minutes. The driver was also very nice and personable so it was overall the best cab experience we've probably ever had. It was also good information for future reference: when we miss a train we can always stop in Rahway to get a good cab service. read more

I usually use this service to and from the Rahway train station for work, until now. On the night of April 12th I left the train and proceeded to the station cab to get a ride home. Approaching the man behind the counter, I tell them my address and pay for my fare ahead of time. The man then tells me "it's going to be a while", confused I then asked "how long will it take", the response to this was "I don't know". Ok great customer service not only did he have no idea when or if a cab was coming he was being rude on top of it. Mind you I have already paid. I then sit down outside on the bench and wait. About 10 minutes pass and I see a cab pull up the curb, thinking this was my own cab I got in. The driver then told me this was reserved for someone else and that I had to get out. Confused I said "well I paid is it me?" The reply no so I got out and walk to the dispatcher to ask what's going on and how come this is so disorganized and how long will I have to wait for a cab. I asked him how he felt about his customer service and if he was doing a good job. Angry I guess since I am in my twenties and speaking to him about customer service and experience he threatened to "throw you through the fucking wall." Blown away and pissed off I yell at him he then tells me to "fuck off" and "find another way home." Again blown away with his attitude I demand he call the police he did. Spoke with the police who were for the most part a little jittery and pretty rude and once again proved to be bullying policemen who didn't get anything done. I dont have problem with cab drivers, but the man who takes the calls in the evenings is so rude. He talks in a verry harsh way and hangs up the call without any manners. I see many negative reviews on him and I dont understand why the management is not taking proper action on him. This man is not apt in providing customer services. He is very rude and impatient. Horrible customer service. Dirty cabs, rude and unhygienic drivers. Hidden $5 fee for using credit card that is not disclosed upfront (even when you state you will be using card before pick up). No rational reason why this company should be in business. $20 ride to train station ($25 if I use my card) is less than $7 with Uber. $75-$80 ride to Newark airport is less than $30 with Uber. Bad experience turned into good experience. NJ transit problems caused me to have to take a cab from Rahway to home. Saw a parked unoccupied cab parked, figured must be a taxi stand. Another cab pulls up, so I.get in, tell the guy where I'm going. He says its $20 (ripoff price!) And did the office tell me that. I am confused and say I didn't call an office. Guy starts YELLING at me that there's an office in the station, I have to get out etc although there's no one else waiting. I got out. Found the office. They got me a car. Other ppl saw me complain about nasty driver, refused to ride w him. But, the driver I got was SO NICE. Really nice guy, friendly, got me home quickly and safely. The company charges a lot - the fare was $20 and probably 12 to 15 w another co, but I gave a $5 tip anyway bc the driver was so nice. Nasty driver, old guy called Mike - request someone else. If you use this cab service, ask the price before you get in the car. They charged me $20 for a 1 mile trip, because it was in Clark and Cranford as opposed to Rahway. The driver didn't tell me that up-front, and when I asked what the price would be, he took his sweet time giving me an answer. I didn't know until we were over half way there. I almost didn't pay him. I complained to the company, and they said "well, our drivers are SUPPOSED to inform you up front ..." Very unsatisfactory response. I won't use them again. read more

Last night my husband and I were in the crosswalk at Milton at the train station. While in the crosswalk a nice driver let us cross while a station cab driver wailed on his horn, I hope he didn't have a fare. After we got across, I thanked the nice driver and stuck my finger up at the cab driver and he proceeded to scream fu at me at the top of his lungs. i was going to saint mary's cemetery in clark to visit my parents' grave. i called two other companies first even though station cab was parked right there waiting bc the reviews for sc were so bad. the others weren't available however so i reluctantly took them. i have to say my experience was far better than some of the others i've read. the driver, joe, went way out of his way and took a whole lot of extra time to help me find the plot (which i never did bc there are no signs at st. mary's and no one was there to ask). so while i'm willing to give the cab company a good rating, st. mary's gets two stars. read more
