Such a great spot! Had to stop in twice while passing through. Food options are plentiful. Options for vegan and gluten-free which is appreciated. Delicious squares (cheesecake, maple pecan, energy bites) and a wide variety of coffee drinks. The espresso Station uses is perfectly balanced - bold and fresh. Drinks were made quickly and with care. Station makes an excellent cappuccino! Staff were helpful and kind. Didn't try the gelato but it's a nice option on a hotter day! read more

Stopped in for a latte, americano and a breakfast bun on our way through Medicine Hat. Wow! Coffee was delicious and the breakfast bun spectacular. Our choice had Boursin cheese, bacon, egg and other delicious bits. Highly recommend! We'll be back! read more

Probably my favorite coffee shop in Med Hat. Lots of options to choose from to please just about anyone. The atmosphere is modern and cozy.

I'd say most of the items have good portion size, but the prices are quite high, and inside interior is nice I enjoy the local art hung up around the building, but with the price being so high and having ordered something I wasn't a fan of made it a 3 star for me. This is a problem for me most specifically because if the prices weren't so high I wouldn't have forced myself to finish my dessert that I did not enjoy. read more

Driving home from Elkwater and needed a latte. This place is tops in The Hat on Yelp, so off i went. Clean, friendly, some treats in the cabinet that looked good. Latte was ok, the beans they use aren't my fave but its personal taste. read more

Station has the ambience people have come to expect from local independent coffee companies across Alberta. The atmosphere is laid-back, but welcoming, and has a sense of warmth about the decor and staff. The food is also exceptional. During the winter months, I have enjoyed many a chai latte from Station, as well as a variety of muffins, brownies, and other treats--all of which were fantastic. I would highly recommend checking it out next time you are in the Hat. read more

I've been living in Medicine Hat for quite a long time now. Always heard about this coffee shop from my professor. But never got a chance to try until last week. I tried an iced Latte and my friend got a hot Latte. Mine was great. A bit on the bitter side, which I like. The hot one could've been more foamier but it was good. I noticed they have quite a selection for donuts and other stuff. May be I will try those next time. The staff was friendly. The service was quick. The ambiance is very nice. The brick wall stands out. The color variation on the walls seems to be carefully planned. I loved the light fixtures made using plumbing pipes. Overall, I would love to go there and read a book one day while sipping great coffee and spoiling myself with some good donuts (which needs to be decided for the next time). Exactly what a local cafe should be. Skip the chains on the Trans-Canada and drive downtown to meet the owners and smile as they greet everyone of the regulars as they walk in the door. I think this place has some serious potential, but is missing the mark. My husband and I were driving through town, and detoured out to Station to pick up some cappuccinos. This part of town is super cute and the ambience and decor of the shop is awesome. Unfortunately, we waited forever to place our orders (five people ahead of us, and it took a little over ten minutes to get to the front of the line), and the baristas were grumpy (I smiled, was pleasant; they didn't crack a smile once or offer a "hello" or "thank you"). That's okay, maybe they're not used to being this busy on a Tuesday afternoon? However, the biggest offence was when we got our cappuccinos: they had cinnamon sprinkled in them! It's not like I ordered some froofy, triple-pump, half-caf soy caramel latte. I ordered a cappuccino: espresso, milk, foam. No garnish required. Just because the barista doesn't like coffee and adds cinnamon to everything doesn't mean we should suffer. On top of that, you couldn't taste the espresso, and the whole thing tasted like a burnt version of the milk left over from your bowl of cinnamon toast crunch. We hadn't taken a sip of our drinks until we'd gotten to the car, and at that point we weren't going to go back, and waste another twenty minutes to get them remade. They went straight in the garbage and we went to Tim Horton's (sure, their coffee's crap, but at least it's consistent). read more

This place has a nice ambience and a comfy couch amongst other varied seating options for groups. My boyfriend and I came here hungry and were hoping for lunch. They had many sandwiches in their display wrapped in Saran Wrap (looking a bit squished) with the common coffee shop treat items (squares, cake etc..). Their blackboard had a few dairy laden offerings - quiche and baked potato soup. They did not have any non-dairy or vegan options. I have become dairy intolerant so lunch here was not ago. I opted for an herbal tea which was fine and my boyfriend had a coffee and carrot cake that he said was fine. Depending on your needs this might be the best choice for a coffee shop in the hat. Great atmosphere; great coffees; great food! The best coffee shop in The Hat. They do their own baking and sell both locally roasted coffee and coffee from Fratello in Calgary. Located in historic downtown Medicine Hat, it's worth the trip from the highway if you're just passing through! read more
