Includes, JJB, Argos, Borders, Furnture Village, Tesco Home, Staples, Halfords, Boots, and Brantano. With McDonalds and TGI Fridays oppositem, and a Starbucks in Borders, and a Novotel, Ibis, and Etap hotels also there offering cheap stays. Tesco Home was a flagship new market idea for Tesco with the store concentrating only on homewares and is a wonderful idea, and often very packed out. Parking is plentiful and as its free, everyone uses it. Free for 2 hours with parking attendants there all the time its quite good! Also frequented by the youths with they're show-off cars of an evening, so not the place to bring a learner driver!

I have very fond memories of this mall because when I used to work on ships, this was where I would…read morecome to hang out when docked in Southampton. There was reasonably priced food, wifi, and I could get a little shopping in. This was 15 years ago. Glad to see 15 years later, this mall is still kicking, and they have really built up this area a lot more. They still have a nice mix of stores, although some of their kiosks are gone, like their Whittard's kiosk. The food court wasn't bad, although I did notice a couple places were empty. There is still wifi, although that's less of an issue now. And they still have the M&S, thankfully. If you're going on a cruise, and have some time to kill, I think this mall is a great stop, especially considering there are other things in the area too if you get bored with the mall. There is another mall in the area, but that one is a little more empty, whereas West Quay still seems to have a crowd.

We…read moredid a bit of shopping, but for the most part we just walked around, window shopped, and people watched. The place was packed with people. Maybe we were all just escaping the rain that day. Westquay was very clean and they had a nice assortment of stores. My wife's favorite store was Marks & Spencer. This large department store had some good deals. My favorite shop was located on the second floor (I believe). Actually, it was more like a large kiosk. One girl was manning the place. It was called Continental Bakery, and the selection of baked goods was fantastic. I ordered a couple of Pastel De Nata which tasted excellent!! Very good price points also! Wish I had bought some other stuff while we were there. Anyways, visiting the Westquay Shopping Centre is a "Must do" when in Southampton. I noticed that there is also a Nando's Restaurant upstairs in the food area which I'll have to go to next time also.

We got to experience it during the Christmas holidays, which was nice for sight seeing. It opens at 9 am on weekdays, and the outside doors opened to the public about 5 minutes before. Many of the stores open soon after. The 3rd story consists of a variety of restaurants, all of which were closed that early in the day. Instead, quite a few coffee shops were open, including a lot of Costa's. The center of the mall consists of elevators and a set of escalators. Even at 9, there were quite a few people working and browsing.

Barkers Motorworks BMW Specialist…read more I have been using Barkers for a few years for my wife's X4 and the service has always been excellent. Yesterday we had an issue with the ZF Transmission box and booked in the vehicle for a gearbox service- only to be met by Richard Barker who explained that he was 99.9% sure it wasn't the gearbox but the new tyres that had been recently fitted, which were not Star rated and were interfering with the XDrive transmission. This was sterling advice and saved us a lot of money as we went back to the tyre dealer and upgraded the tyres back to Pirelli Zeros! This isn't the first time Richard has done this for us and we cannot thank him enough for his time and his wisdom. Thank you Richard and all at Barkers motorworks. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a BMW. Thanks Martin

Dishonest unlawful fraudsters! They recovered my son's car…read moreon behalf of the police, after we called the police to tell them we would recover the vehicle ourselves. They took 10 days to make contact, which was done with a falsified anonymous letter claiming to be from the police, and falsely insisting this is a police matter ( it isn't, it's a civil matter). On visiting the car it was evident they had illegally unlocked and entered the vehicle, plus removed personal items (still not returned) plus caused severe damage in the unlawful recovery. We said we wanted to disclaim the vehicle, as per Hampshire Police website guidelines, they claimed this was not an option, on more than 12 occasions, both verbally (recorded) and in writing, and to the Winchester police front desk in my presence. They insisted we raise an official complaint with them but took half an hour arguing about giving me a name to address it to (Guy Morgan incidentally). Guy Morgan was aggressive and threatening in his response and has not come back to us to resolve the situation. They have lied repeatedly and provided false and contradictory information every time we speak to them. We escalated this with the police complaints who, conferred with the police solicitor and confirmed that Midhurst had acted unlawfully, and should have offered us the option of disclaiming the vehicle for £96 on day one, as well as contacting us to explain this (which they did not do) We have now paid the £96, however Midhurst Engineering are still continuing to harass my son and are still acting unlawfully. So remember, if these charlatans recover (or have recovered) your car on behalf of the police, you have the option of disclaiming the vehicle for £96. I wonder how many other people have fallen victim to their unlawful actions and been robbed? People like this don't deserve to be in business.
