I've decided to pamper myself after sitting for months on a desk and a chair every day. All the while, I am getting ready for the warmer seasons, where I plan to do more fitness. My back needed a massage due to sitting in a position for too long. What do I need? Definitely a deep tissue massage. The reservation was pretty straightforward, with the receptionist taking my credit card number through the phone. On my way there, they asked if I am using the same card like the one on the phone, and I said yes. They gave me a form to fill while I was waiting, and I filled it in less than 3 minutes. The rest of the wait was not long; I think I waited around 5 minutes before being called to go to a room. An hour later, I came out of the room feeling happy and joyful. My back is a lot less tense, and it feels more flexible. What about the cleanliness during Covid? The light was off with a bit of light to make sure I don't fall. The spa was well-kept and in good condition overall. I felt quite safe. I'll definitely be back to enjoy other amenities that are opening back up on March 26th to give a throughout review of my experience there. read more

The bistro has expanded! With more choices for food and mains. I was reluctant at first but thoroughly impressed by the two choices I made: the spinach dip and pita bread and spicy chicken burger. A great option following a nice massage. I used the birthday special as a gift for a friend. For 90$ + tax, the gift includes a classic massage, thermal bath access, water bottle, and glass of champagne. Due to covid-19, lockers already contain 1 towel (where the standard was two before - you have to pay extra 2$ which is dumb when you think about it). The crowd was not all adolescents like the past, older crowd and the pools had a limit of 8 people at a time. Steam room was also open with a max of 3 people at a time. read more

Came here for a friend's birthday (apparently you get a free massage on your birthday). The faculties are clean but nothing out of the ordinary. The locker room was cramped and pretty basic. There was a nice dining area with a cafe where you could get a light lunch, snack or drinks. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Food was ok, nothing exciting but nothing to complain about. There were hot tubs and steam rooms as well to enjoy if you took the thermal experience for extra. They give you two towels but a robe and slippers will cost you $10, which I thought was a bit much, be sure to bring your own. The massage rooms were pretty basic but I liked that they had special massage cushions for pregnancy that allow you to lie on your stomach. My massage was excellent. 5 stars for the service, 3 stars for the facilities, overall 4 star experience. read more

Definitely not the spa experience I wanted to have. It is not the peaceful environment you are looking for. First, we had a terrible service at the reception and then the jacuzzi water wasn't even warm! We had to sit in front of the hot water jet to be comfortable. Then, we wanted to grab something to drink, half of the menu wasnt available. The music was some weird electronic music, not relaxing, very repetitive and did not fit with the place. It definitely feels like the place is trying to have a cool urban vibe but also a relaxing ambiance and it just doesn't fit together. The place wasnt well managed, tho it was really clean. read more

Definitely not my favourite spa but if you live in the South Shore, then it's a good option for a relaxing day or evening. Having been to many spas in Montreal, I know they can do better. Located in the older section of Dix30, you can be sure that you can find plenty of underground parking. Once the elevator doors open, you are already in Sky Spa's reception. I experienced lovely service from the front desk ladies on multiple occasions, both on the phone and in person but especially on my last visit which was a Monday evening this past June. I just find this spa very small and cramped. I also didn't like that I had to pay extra for their bath robe even though I was getting a massage and the fact that if you want fruit in your water, you have to pay $1. The girl who works at the bistro snack bar was very rude and unwelcoming. I do like that the price of the baths is more affordable than some other spas in Montreal and because it's on top of a building, the views of the sunset are beautiful. I would have appreciated some more comfortable seating, like hammocks, beds or bean bags. read more

Okay place.. been twice. Massages are mediocre.. not bad, just don't focus on areas you ask them to. Don't check in on if pressure is okay. There was a pretty bad sewage smell second time I went in some areas around the hot tubs.. pretty questionable.. I may go back eventually but there are definitely better options.. I also find it crazy that there's no wifi... I get it, it's a spa and people maybe want to get away, but this is a spa at a huge shopping centre, not the middle of a forest. 2019 and no wifi is ridiculous in my opinion.. read more

Please note that this review is based solely on the thermal experience on a weekday evening, and not on the massage. I came here on a weekday evening hoping to avoid crowds and wind down with a friend on a cold winter's night. I was disappointed with the facilities, the "vibe" of the place, and the crowd. As for the facilities, they are sparse and small. Though things were clean, there weren't enough baths, saunas, and resting areas to justify the price or to cater to the clientèle, even if we had a weekday evening deal. I went in the dead of winter, and so I expected the outdoor heated pools to be extra soothing and warm, however, one of the two baths was not heated very well compared to the other. Perhaps it was an off night, but because it was crowded and there was a couple making out in the hotter pool, I stuck to the colder pool. The ambiance is attractive, but it looks more like a club lounge than a spa. Though the red colour of the decor is fun and fresh, it seems a little too visually stimulating. I prefer my spas to be adorned in soothing colours. The most annoying part was that the crowd consists of the stereotypical trashy South Shore variety. You know what I'm talking about... the Jersey Shore wannabes who speak too loud (it's a SPA, respect your space and speak softly!). To make it worse, there was a shady couple making out in the outdoor pool, which was very uncomfortable to be around! It's too bad the staff wasn't around to whip things into shape. Also, people were openly talking and laughing, which really detracted from the spa experience. Finally, because this spa is located next to Radio Lounge (a club), you can feel and sometimes here the vibrations of the club music (if you're there in the evening). Would I come back to SkySpa? Good question. I might, given the right conditions. The benefits are that it's closer to home, there's plenty of parking, and it could be fun to go to if it weren't for the crowd. My friend said that summertime is better at the spa because they have a nice garden on the roof, which helps hide the fact that you're at the dix30. If you're looking for a much better thermal spa experience, I'd urge you to try Balnea, which is a bit of a drive away, but is a much more satisfying and professional spa. read more

Have had two really good massages here with Emilie as my masseuse. She is very considerate, gentle, and professional. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The entire facility was great with a small exception. The locker room for the men is much too small. I was there at a peak time and it was impossible to change without bumping into someone. read more

This was my first time at any type of spa, and it was a great experience. We went as a group on a friday, so we got the evening special for the thermal experience. Priced at $35, you get two towels, a locker key, and full access to the saunas, steam bath, and hot tubs. You are expected to have sandals or flip flops, so remember to pack some! There are two large hot baths outside, along with a "nordic water fall" which is the cold pool. The hot baths have colour changing lights that add to the atmosphere, and make you feel like a celebrity ( at least I felt that way). There are two saunas, which are a bit on the small side, and one steam room which is a bit bigger. The overall atmosphere outside reminded me of a chic club lounge, so if you're looking for something more serene, it might not be for you. Most people were there in groups of two or three, many couples feeling the need to make out in the hot baths. We were a group of 6, so with that many people talking in one area, we were naturally a bit louder, although I didn't think we were overly so. One of the employees, however, seemed to think we were, because were were shushed more than once. At one point, this employee decided to stand by our portion of the hot tub for over 20 minutes, which was very uncomfortable for everyone. Even when it was nearly closing time, and we were the only ones left, she found the need to, rather rudely, wave her hand down at us, to tell us to be quiet! This was a bit ridiculous, and the main reason I didn't give this place 5 stars. read more

Yes i like it , mostly because they have a very relax silence rules : its just not speak too loud , that's it .. lounge athmosphere wonderful, so we can feel more freedom that others places in the city where we can NOT speak. OMG! My first massage! What was I waiting for?? This place is just a great place to relax, sweat, soak in Brossard. I did the Thermal Experience as well as a massage. The massage room was quiet, dim, and soothing. I was a little uneasy seeing that I am usually uncomfortable with people touching me. But once my masseuse started working on my sore back from many surgeries from breast cancer, I was in heaven. There were moments where I felt it was a little rough but all in all she was great. From there I met my hubby for a steam, the stream room is infused with what smelled like Vicks..lol It did wonders for my congestion! From there we went to the sauna, sweat some more. When I finally couldn't take the heat anymore we head off into the freezing falls outside, which revitalized my whole body, then into the hot tub! I hadn't felt so relaxed in months! The air was crisp, the tubs were warm and the lighting was romantic. It wasn't to busy and the hubby and I had our own little spot in the tub. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone. If you can't get away, take a night after work do the thermal and melt the stress away:) read more

I've been to a lot of spas, but SkySpa is hands down my favourite. The staff are always courteous and professional, and it's so modern and clean inside that you can't help but feel like you're in good hands. But the real star of the spa is outside. The thermal experience outdoor area is well kept and has a beautiful view of the city; the baths themselves are, in a word, amazing. There is a specific rubric you're meant to follow when you do any thermal experience so you can maximize your relaxation, but personally I just go with what feels best to me and that seems to work just fine. The food there is great, too. It is on the expensive side I'll admit, but it's great if you want to recharge with a super delicious and healthy snack. Also, wine. They have wine. This is self-explanatory. Although I've been on both weekdays and weekends, the crowd hasn't varied too much. It's a good mix of people, but there are a lot of young adults. Personally, I've never experienced people being loud or disruptive. Everyone's just kind of chilling and doing their own thing. But I don't get the vibe that it's the type of place to enforce the stony silence I've seen promoted at other spas. Personally I think this is great, as that level of rigid silence gets me really nervous and uncomfortable. But if you're the type of person who needs absolute silence to fully reap the benefits of relaxation, it's potentially something to keep in mind. Their facilities inside are great, too. They have a relaxation room, a steam room, and two saunas, all of which are modern, clean and well kept. Really my only complaint is that it's located in the Dix 30 in Brossard, which is difficult to get to if you don't drive and live in the suburbs on-island. If not for that, I honestly think i'd be there every day. All in all a clean, modern, well-kept establishment with top notch facilities that make it so easy to just relax and feel all your stress melt away. read more

The spa was Beautiful. I absolutely loved the decor of their lounge area and they did have an outdoor natural looking patio outside which gave a nice touch to their modern spa. I got here after sunset so have no idea how this place looks like or is during the day. When I walked in the staff was super friendly and our receptionist who was having a little trouble serving us in English did her best and then we finally switched to french which was fine. They only provide 2 towels and you have to bring your own robes, sandals and bathing suit. I didnt have any of the treatments or massages so will not have any comments on that either. The snack bar was great, I had their hot chocolate and yogurt parfait, because they were closing then too. The place was average size not too small because they had 2 saunas, a small relaxing room and a steam room. Not big either because .. well they have only small sized saunas and baths too. Plus the relaxing room was really small and didnt really leave everyone much privacy. But I loved the concept and the modern touches they added. There wasnt really any total silence policy so its great for couples or small groups of friends to come relax. I wil come back to this place in the summer when they open their big windows and to soak up the sun. read more
