Don't buy paris visite zone 1 to 5 pass if you don't venture out often. Not worth the cost. Just pay individual tickets to Versailles. Most of the attractions are in zone 1 anyway. We never went to zone 2&3. There is a bus stop directly outside the station. Take bus #s 1, 3 or 4 to bring you closer to the palace area of Versailles, or you can take a ~17 min leisurely walk to see a bit of the town before hitting up the main attractions. *Total time takes about 40 minutes and you need to purchase a one-way or round trip zone 1-5 ticket, OR do an unlimited Mobilis one-day ticket for zones 1-5. If you do the train tickets only, and want to take the bus once you get to Versailles, then you need to purchase bus tickets for within 1 zone separately. Would suggest to buy all these in advance at your train station of origin to avoid having to figure it out later.

They made a scary and stressful experience much better by the service and assistance they provided. Everyone was so positive and reassured us we would get to our destinations. The stations itself is breathtaking like the other structures throughout Paris. It is directly connected to the Metro so we didn't have to go far to get to our hotel in Paris. If you need to purchase a metro pass, you can change the language to English by clicking on the British flag. It is fast, easy, and convenient. If you are unsure, you can always ask.

It is the second busiest train station in Paris after Gare du Nord, handling 100 million passengers a year. The station is quite large so it took me a while to walk from one end to the other to catch my train. This train station makes it easy to get to Giverny to visit the Monet house and garden. It took about 40 minutes. I'm so impressed by the mass transit in France and Europe.
