Luckily I had the signed agreement from 9 years ago and I could prove that they were trying it on. From my experience I would warn anyone from ever trusting this company. I gave up and took my laptop and my problem to Peter at "PC Clinic". I don't think I could have made a better decision. Peter had to do battle with robots and human agents. This went on for a number of days with time spent answering the same questions and explaining, in the simplest terms, the problem I was having. Peter persevered and finally I received a phone call from someone higher up my supplier chain with a brain and in 5 minutes problem solved and back online. I think Peter went above and beyond in his efforts to solve my problem. He not only solved my problem but also gave me advice on browser choice and my computer security and lots of general information around care and use of my computer. I cannot praise Peter enough. He has a friendly approach to the customer, he is very knowledgeable, nothing seems to be too much trouble. In my opinion he gives value for money. So, would I recommend PC Clinic? 200% YES. Many thanks Peter. Ashley

Impressive art from local and national artists adorn the walls and vary in price from reasonable to very expensive. I'm a fan of two shops in particular, the chocolate shop has a yummy selection of handmade chocolates and cakes for sale. It offers a bespoke service whereby you can have your own design made for those very special occasions. The other shop is the kitchen shop, here it has quirky utensils, pots, pans, baking dishes which are all quite unique and reasonably priced. I'm also a fan of the on site cafe, which gets really busy during lunch time, I had a simple cheese and pickle sandwich and a cappuccino for around £6.00. There's a comfy area with sofas, you can sit at a table or there's outside seating which is very pleasant in the summer months.

The products range from office tools such as paper clips to watches. I've always found their products to be a range of classic, stylish and modern designs. On their blank books i.e. notepads you can often find a set. For example a notepad, diary and pencil case together. Or you can mix and match, which is what I prefer to do. I also think their products are suitable for people of all educational levels. On the other hand the products are costly; sticky notes cost £4.00. So it would be nice if they regularly had deals on especially just before students and pupils go back to study.

Brilliant service and competitive prices. They have a good range of pens, some office furniture and single paper stick to chose from. The staff are knowledgeable and keen to help - I've been trying to source a particular type of ceramic blade, and whilst the man in the shop had never heard of it he took down all the details and is going to enquire with his suppliers to see if he can help. It's this kind of level of service that you would never EVER get in a big chain like WH Smiths!

Their christmas decorations tend to be great for the price. Its worth paying a regular visit there just to see what they've got in stock. You will rarely find a member of staff on the actual shop floor, so your not likely to get much help, but when everythings £1 thats not normally a problem. I say "essentials" but actually I mean: "random household gimmicks that suckers like me can't resist". It is a crazy shop, selling things like banana guards, mushroom bags and non-slip cupboard liners. You can even buy travel plugs, for when your hotel room sink is somewhat lacking. Mad stuff aside; they also sell some incredibly useful odds and ends, especially when it comes to home baking paraphernalia. The Solihull branch is the only one in the Birmingham area, making it something of a novelty. The Lakeland brand is built on solid quality customer service. They will never quibble when it comes to refunds or faulty items. The staff know the stock inside out.
