When I returned it, however, a younger female was there checking the truck back in. She had me turning the lights on and off the truck, turning blinkers, etc when usually the attendent completes the inspection, which was her. I was due a refund and she said it could go back on my debit card or I could get a cash refund. I asked her if it would matter either way how I got the refund and she said no, so she placed refund back on my debit and then said it'd be back in my bank account "in 5 to 7 business days." I said said if she had told me that in the first place, I would have taken my refund in cash. It was really odd how she left that major detail out when I specifically asked her about it. Some people can't afford to wait "5 to 7 business days" for their refund. The truck had drink spilled in the cup holder which was sticky, the truck's steering wheel was in a off position making it feel really weird when driving it and the door was very hard to close and we had to try lifting it back up and slamming it down several times before finally getting it to latch. The ramp on the truck was also loose a little and it didn't latch properly, it would slide a few inches when we were on it. No cables or belts were on the dolly, either. Thank goodness we used someone elses dolly or we would've been out of luck. I would have given 1 star but the original attendant was so polite.

My mother and I went to this location to have a hitch and wire harness installed on her vehicle. They installed the hitch but could not figure out the wiring. While trying to do the wiring they BROKE the interior molded plastic of her SUV and didn't tell us about it, they just said they couldn't do it. We found the damage and are now getting the run around by the company and are having to jump through hoops to try to get them to make this right.

I set an appointment for 6 pm on Friday. 15 min after setting the appointment, I called and rescheduled for Saturday morning. First appointment offered was 7 am. So I showed up at 7am. Place is still closed. 7:15, a worker finally drives up and opens up shop. I tell her I'm there for a 7 am Hitch install appointment. She tells me the guy won't be there to install it til 10 am. She tries to text (not call) the mechanic to see if he can come in. While I'm waiting, she's being rude to other customers, causing a backup of people. Mechanic waltzes in an hour and a half later. Work doesn't begin on my car until another hour later. 2 hrs later the kit isn't even on the car still. Edit: it is now 1:15 pm. Tow kit is on. Wiring is unclear on how to affix it to the kit. So the install has taken more than 6 hrs. Store is severely understaffed causing a truck driver to miss a load. They've managed to piss off every other customer.

This facility was the newest in town, and both the inside and outside units were exceptionally sturdy. It is constantly monitored and very secure. I was able to reserve a unit on my move to the area, and moved in immediately upon arrival. I received a free month of storage and a free lock due to a promotion. During my 7 month stay, I never had any issues(No leaks, Gate always worked, etc.), but anytime I had a question the store manager, Laura, was always there to help. Her dedication and professionalism truly makes this facility stand out. The only slight downside is this is not a 24 hour facility. While I never found it to be a true problem, you won't be able to access your unit between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am

May not sound like much, but two 6 x 10 foot beds each 1 foot deep produced tons of dirt in weight and at least 4 cubic yards of volume. My truck can safely haul about 1/2 of a cubic yard (due to the weight) so to give you an idea that is about 8-10 pick up loads of dirt. It would have taken me days to load my truck by hand to only then shovel it out by hand if I could find a place to dump it! So, hauling it myself wasn't an option. By the way, the county landfill (Chesterfield) doesn't allow you to bring in dirt. You need to work with someone who can dump at a commercial only landfill. On the Spot Hauling run by Diamond and Chris were the only folks who actually committed and showed up to do the work. I spoke to five other companies including one who swore he could do the work and did show up early in the morning on a Sunday in a small vehicle with a trailer he used to collect leaves only to take pictures, tell me he has a "buddy" who can bring in a front end loader and a dump truck and quoted me a crazy price. He had to go away empty handed. Chris and I reviewed the work one more time on the phone afterwards and he came that same day - a Sunday- ready to work. We had a ballpark price based on pictures and my description. Nothing changed, he was true to his quoted price for the work. We did make an adjustment for his dump fee (its not cheap to get rid of dirt in comparison, for example, just household garbage) which he had told me on the phone was the only variable he didn't know until he got here and we started loading his trailer. Chris, Diamond and Carlos worked over two days - Sunday all afternoon and Monday all morning- to load their very large dump trailer and clean up around the area I orginally placed the dirt in my driveway. They used shovels and also had a machine to help move the dirt into the trailer but that was on rubber tracks and did no damage to my driveway or yard. They worked safely, swiftly and with purpose. Their interactions with myself and my wife were very professional. After they left, I quickly power washed my driveway in the afternoon and it was like nothing was ever there! I definately recommend Diamond Chris and On The Spot Hauling and will be calling upon them again for other work. I encourage you to do the same!

I have been renting a unit from them for about 5 months and I have never had any problems. The office staff is extremely friendly and welcoming so it makes it really easy to do business with them. The seller, my son, and I worked maybe 2 hours trying to lift the safe using ramps, a dolly, and a motorcycle jack to get it on my trailer, to haul back to Newport News. The seller had to leave for another appointment. After maybe 30 minutes more in the sweltering heat, my son and I decided to call a tow truck company to lift it onto my trailer. Midnight towing was the third or fourth company I called. The first few didn't have a driver available, or didn't have a truck with an old fashion crane on it. After maybe another 20 minutes Wilson came with his flat bed wrecker. I told him right away I'd requested a crane. He replied "We'll make it work one way or another". Sure enough with his air jack he raised it high enough to get on the corner of his flatbed, and set it the trailer. He then nudged it forward of the axle, centered on the trailer. I was expecting to pay $150, but he said $125 would do. He really knows his equipment capabilities. I'd highly recommend him to tow your car, or to deliver a safe for you. Later I estimated the weight at 2000 pounds. The seller had guessed it only weighed 500. -paul

Right from the start, Wilson put our minds at ease. He gave us an overview of the area, including hotels, car rentals, and potential auto shops [we went with Master Transmissions who fixed the car in 2 days at a very, very reasonable price but that's a different story].
