A great hotel and stay. Only one night, and had no time for the pool, but the suite is comfortable and the staff friendly. It's a clean place and we'll appointed, though some wear on the cupboards in the kitchen. No big deal. I don't only take one star for no recycling opportunities in the rooms, or on property that we saw. The breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise for we vegans, with oatmeal and a variety of toppings such as nuts multiple fresh fruit (such as berries, etc.) We ate outside in the nice garden area facing the river. Pretty chill. If you're in town for a few days it's convenient with the full in room kitchen. If this is a summer trip with the kids it'll fulfill your needs easily as well. In town for a night passing through you could go cheaper. In town in business on the company dime? Skip this for the most baller spot you can expense. Plenty of parking out front and on the building sides. Few restaurants in the same parking lot so you're covered on lunch and dinner. M-W/TH they also offer a managers reception. Beer wine and a few small appetizer like items. Clean lobby. Free breakfast with a decent spread. Seating to work during or after breakfast. Business center with printers. Gym. Pool and hot tub. Newly remodeled and fairly modern. Rooms have a sink, full sized fridge, microwave, oven (I think? Can't remember but it was a full kitchen so I assume it had one. Ha), dishes, pots and pans, cutlery glassware. Desk. Couch that depending on your room is a pullout bed. Television. Closet. Tub shower combo. Nice trails and river behind the hotel. We did a lot of research before our vacation to make sure our hotel was clean and new. unfortunately, this hotel is extremely dirty and extremely unkept, the manager was, really kind to let us check out early and moving into the Marriott in walking distance, which was incredible. Best hotel and courtyard in Great Falls. There is a short/slow train that comes thru regularly, but ask for South or West-facing windows if it's a concern. The windows are pretty soundproof tho, but the floors are not. East and most North-facing rooms have the best views of the river. You can actually take the River's Edge trail (on either side of the river thanks to the nearby walking bridge) all the way to Giant Springs or the Interpretive Center if you wanted (5.3 mi each way)! Right next to Kobe, which is a pretty good deal during lunch. read more

Nice hotel I would recommend staying especially if you are in town for a extended time. The rooms are clean and small kitchen is great. Only down sides to mention is the parking but that is a problem everywhere now days. Also if you are going to use the snack time 5:30 to 7:30 as advertised don't wait to long. In my stays I have rarely seen it open past 7:00pm by 7-7:15 you can guarantee it is locked up. If it closes at 7:00 the flier in the rooms should by changed accordingly. But if the fliers said 7:00 pm close would that actually mean 6:30 pm ? read more

As we are all aware Covid had certainly put limitations on pretty much every business known to man as it's clearly posted within Staybridge Great Falls MT to "Please Be Kind To Each Other & Our Staff as We Strive To Make Every Customers Stay A Pleasant One ." Which in reality is pretty sad that the population as a whole has basically zero Patience. Then again even before covid we certainly have had ( & ever increasing) that particular group of people that can not be appeased & unfortunately are not happy even after making everyone around them feel worse than they . Meanwhile my wife & myself have grown fond of Staybridge as you can not ask for better amenities than what Extended Stays ( Staybridges) offer. It's this particular one that has a few corks. Love that the Hydraulic driven elevators are always open & at the ready on the 1st floor when they are not occupied but it's "Hydraulic " which has a tendency to overheat producing a highly unpleasant smell which forces maintenance to prop open the control room with a futile attempt to cool it or at the least trying to keep operating Temps within reason. However giving that this place has zero functional windows & the only way to draw in fresh air is to prop open entry doors ,limited to the first floor as the other 3 floors have no way of bringing in fresh air. Basically trapping not only the hot Hydraulic stench but any other stench that my arise as well. Then there's the Social as it's hardly anything but ( again thanks to Covid) but we've been here long enough that I can tell which of the 3 constantly repeated social menu items is being prepared, per the last 3 months. I completely understand saving money whenever or wherever one can but come on already. You can't tell me that Mondays Chicken Tacos ,Tuesdays Pretzel bites & Wednesdays Mystery Meat Balls can't be switched up for something just as palatable? However considering most Staybridges offer up adult beverages, I won't even ask why this one doesn't, considering how you've been forced to display multiple signs throughout this facility asking that "ADULTS" to be "Kind & Considerate !" What a sad world indeed. Now as for the train that takes up the last few feet of your beautiful view of the Missouri River , I'll chalk this one up to the cost of doing business. As in the first few weeks of our stay it was unpleasant, Luckily it doesn't take very long to eventually no longer notice or hear it roaring through. Over all Staybridge Great Falls is on par with the countless others we've lived in over the years as my wife & I have worked many of Civil Engineering projects within the Midwest. As there hasn't been not a one that we haven't established an excellent rapport with . Luckily we're well rounded & grounded people that realize it's best to "Be Exactly What You Expect " as I personally have checked many guest that were way less than unbecoming to Previous Staybridge Staff we built relationships with. Nothing I hate more than common no less & no more equal people than you & I having unreasonable demands & expectations well beyond than what they are willing to pay for . Nobody gets 5 star service @ a 1 through 4 star rate, right ? Right ! Overall I'll leave you guys with a 4.5 on Quality of Service, always coming through in a timely manner be it request ,needs or corrections, Staff are always seemingly pleasant even when confronted with contentious clients or other staff. However 3 stars on The stench issue with Hydraulic elevators, as to why the builder didn't suggest an exhaust fan or air exchanger be placed with the elevator control room is beyond me. I'd however look into that in the future or perhaps a bigger oil reservoir to boot & or perhaps an oil cooling unit. Between the noise of having the control room door open & the smell regardless of door open or not ,I'm certain one or even 2 of the recommendations listed will be well received. Especially changing up the social menu & perhaps being a bit more spontaneous with the menu. Lastly get someone properly trained on managing chemical levels in the pool & jacuzzi. Just standing in the room at times causes one's eyes to burn . I really lean on review sites when I'm out of the road, the farther and smaller the town the more its necessary to rely on the Yelp & TripAdvisor reviews of the world. The Staybridge Suites at the time of writing this is the number one rated hotel in Great Falls, MT. Rightly so, its a great property with wonderful service. The hotel is very new property located right on the river in Great Falls. Its a 4 floor property that faces a not too busy road and the river & trails on the other side. There looked like there were many room types available. I booked the studio suite it came with a queen bed, full kitchen area, and sitting area. There was a great 30ish inch LCD TV with plenty of channels. The bathroom was nice and the shower/toilet is separated from the vanity area. They had a great sitting area at the center of the hotel where there was tables, a fireplace with lounge chairs and the buffet area. Off of that area there was a quieter siting room with plush lounge furniture and was a great work area away from the eating space. They served a comprehensive breakfast that was far above average with actual hot items such as eggs, ham, sausage etc etc. Each night between 5:30 and 7pm they had a "Sundowner" snack which was pretty tasty the nights I was able to grab it. They had a beer tap but it looks like they weren't using it anymore... maybe it will get revived in the future? (Hint Hint) The location of the hotel isn't the most convenient to the freeway as its past the main 10th street drag. It is really more conveniently located to the downtown business district. Its located right on the river trail system and it was a great place to get a evening jog in. The service was superb, every interaction I had the staff was very polite and helpful. They gave me a great Priority Club check-in gift with toiletries and snacks. The rate was competitive at just around $100 a night on priorityclub.com. If you're in Great Falls this is a great spot to stay. I'm looking forward to my next stay! read more

Great hotel. Seems newer. The full breakfast was great. We were not here for the evening snacks. Free laundry - 5 washers and dryers. Clean room. Dog friendly, but the $75 pet fee for up to 7 nights was pricey. The only drawback to this hotel is that it sits right in front of active train tracks. For us, functionality, comfort and amenities determine a hotel's value. Not the pretty pictures on the wall. It was disappointing to discover upon arrival that the breakfast buffet is canceled and replaced by 2 hot offerings that are handed to you. The hot coffee is also handed off. We count on a decent breakfast to keep travel costs down. Their swimming pool is still open though. Go figure. Our room is across from the stairwell, so we hear constant door slams. When they upgraded us to the king suite for free, we thought we had hit the jackpot! Not so much. Also, this hotel is literally within yards of a busy train track. The shower gel dispenser is broken. Blackout curtains literally will not stay shut, so I bound them shut with a hair clip I luckily packed. The closet door is coming off the tracks. Finding an unblocked tv channel is not easy. The only positive thing I can say is that the bed is comforable. read more

Couldnt believe we found something in Great Falls that was legit like this place. My mother in law got a 2 room suite here for $110 a night. My husband was in awe when he saw the carpentry work in this hotel suite. Everything is done legit and everything looks nice and modern and expensive. The staff here are wonderful and very nice. Great hospitality! Wish i could give this place more stars since they feed u breakfast and I am not talking about continental breakfast. Staybridge Suites was our home away from home when our house was having restoration work. We needed a full kitchen and a pet friendly hotel. The room we chose had a king bed and it was the biggest, most comfortable bed ever! Plenty of pillows too. My husband and I are both convinced we need to upgrade to a king now. We were super happy to find out that laundry was free, so that was a bonus! The hot breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Guests are able to choose from many options and there's even a free social hour Mon-Wed with a light dinner and the most delicious chocolate chip cookies ever! I love when hotels provide iced water in the lobby, and sure enough Staybridge always had a couple of dispensers with fresh spa water available in the lobby. We were very impressed with the amenities Staybridge provided. Would definitely stay here again! read more

AMAZING is the best word to describe this hotel. Free and delicious breakfast (daily) and dinner (only on TWT) as well as free 24/7 laundry facility attached to the gym and pool. Backyard patio is spacious, is beautifully landscaped, and has a great view of the Missouri River. Backyard is equipped with ample seating, a BBQ grill, and a firepit. Great for family gatherings or letting your kids and pets run wild. The trail run behind the hotel is lengthy and clean with frequent cyclists and runners. The rooms itself are spacious, clean, comfortable to make anyone feel at home, and even smell great. Every room has a kitchenette with a marble island and is equipped with a blender, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, electronic garbage disposal, and of course a stove top. Business center is cozy with faxing and printing services. Internet is of average speed as there are tons of people on at any given time. Location is convenient to major supermarkets, restaurants, and attractions. Last but not least, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They really get to know you and make you feel comfortable within their facility. But what place is not without its flaws? The major flaws here are its proximity to the railroad which is occasionally used by cargo trains that can at times rattle your room. Its proximity to the grainery next door that fills the air with a strange odor although this is rare. Lastly, the food is not refilled 15-30 minutes prior to closing time so if you get there late and there is no food left, don't expect to get fresh food. Things to do: visit the Lewis and Clark center, Yellowstone National Park, and Glacier National Park. (Buy the annual federal parks pass if you do this because it'll cost you $60 in total and the pass is $80 annually with access to any federal park in the country.) Dine at The Faster Basset Company right out front for delicious crepes and beer. Get a bicycle rental from the hotel and bike along the trail run. Or just sit in the backyard and take in the beauty. read more

I was fairly impressed with most things about this hotel but I don't think it deserves 5 stars. The staff could do a better job at keeping up the food supply for the continental breakfast. I refuse to wake up extra early on a weekend to ensure there's a selection of food. My spouse and I joined the breakfast crowd 30 min. prior to closure and 80% of the food was gone. We had to wait about 15 min before it was replenished. The lobby was freezing cold at most times. Do they need to have the air conditioning cranked? The fourth floor had an odd smell. The buzzer in the elevator was a bit annoying and you could also see this on other people's faces. A king size bed would be nice as would the ability to open a window. Otherwise, location is good, staff was friendly, decor and comfort really couldn't be much better. I like that the elevator seems a little more private, as it's not located in the lobby. When you are walking to and from the pool room, at least you don't have to completely show off your drippy self and bathing suit in the entrance. I travel in Montana for work and this is absolutely my favorite place to stay in Great Falls by a long shot. It's probably one of the more expensive rooms in town, however AND, it tends to book long in advance, especially in summer and around events in Great Falls. As a quick summary, the staff is excellent, the rooms are clean and well-lit, the light dinner (some week nights) is well appointed, as is breakfast (make sure you factor in the cost of those meals out when you consider price). I use the laundry (free, byo detergent) and workout facilities and like both. I've never heard a peep from my neighbors and the staff have done out of the way things for me like giving my packages to UPS, making reservations for me in other towns, and handing me a yogurt as I ran out the door for work. The business center is very useful and the internet works well. read more

Staying here for a few weeks and my family and I love it! It's home away from home the services are great and the amenities are amazing! They are pet friendly an the best part is that I don't think they care about the weight iv seen dogs from my Pom to a St. Bernard while staying here! (alot of hotels care alot about the wieght and breed of the dog) We will definitely be coming back. The only thing that was frustrating was that the wifi was horrible I have T-Mobile an that's all I relayed on at some moments. read more

5 stars for exceeding expectations. No, this isn't a super luxury property in a metropolitan city, but it was very, very good for what it is. Also very well priced. Agree with everything in the other reviews, service and comfort was very high here. They are also pet friendly, so we had a good stay with our two dogs. I also really liked the access to the trails along the river, great for a run or walk with dogs. Finally, they are right next to a great coffee & creperie and brewery. Even though the hotel has a very decent breakfast, grabbing a crepe at Faster Basset next door, or grab a beer in the evening. Nice perk. read more

Just completed a ten week stay while working on a tv production. I stayed in a one bedroom suite. The suite was well arranged with a living room with an L shaped sofa, large work desk with adjustable height office chair and lamp. The surprisingly largr kitchen had a full size refrigerator/freezer, electric range top, dishwasher and microwave. A bar with two stools provided a place to eat. The bedroom had a queen bed and chair, chest of drawers and closet. The lobby is comfortable with a fireplace, lounge seating and dining tables for the free breakfast and three nightly dinner. The laundry room has free washers and dryers. The exercise room is well equipped and clean. The indoor pool is large and the spa is adequately large too. The common areas are well kept and in good condition. The desk staff, maintenance and breakfast staff were all friendly and very helpful. Breakfast selections were standard with hot and cold foods, pastries, etc. The rear garden was a great place to relax, with sculptures, fire pit, waterfall, benches, picnic tables, and two gas grills under a cover. The only down sides: The elevators are slow. Walls and floors do not have great sound insulation. I moved from the third to the top floor to get away from noise from above. I happen to be a very light sleeper so most people may not have any issue. Last item is beyond the control of the hotel: the trains. There is an active freight line right behind the hotel. Each night, there were very loud trains blowing horns around 8pm, 10 or 11pm and midnight or 1am. The later trains sometimes lightly shook the building. Hopefully, signals will be installed at the crossing next to the hotel so the trains will stop the multiple load blasts every time. If you have any room other than ones with windows on the front, the horns are very loud. Soundproofed windows would be a big help. I got used to the trains after a while. The comfortable room, great service and amenities made this a great place to stay. read more

Outstanding hotel. Would've easily given it five stars, but they screwed up our reservations. Thankfully they were accommodating afterwards, and made up for the screwup. I never write reviews but I liked this hotel so much I feel compelled to write one. We came our dog and were immediately greeted by a very friendly receptionist who wanted to pet Abbey. They also gave us a pet "gift" bag with treats. The hotel is on a river with a great riverwalk, I took my dog on a three mile run , it was wonderful. Other staff members were very friendly and loved our dog. The rooms are very nice,very clean, with HBO and all cable stations. Very good breakfast,watched over by another very friendly staff person. THere is a nice lobby with a fireplace and games, and a well taken care of outside patio with nice landscaping, including a little fountain. I didn't want to leave! read more

I cannot believe how impressed I was with this hotel. I had to make an emergency trip to GF and wanted to be comfortable. On recommendation from my company's employee service, I decided on the Staybridge and made my reservation. I asked for a simple, single bed in a quiet area. When I arrived, late at night from 13 hours on the road, I was warmly greeted and the desk clerk was completely attentive. When she asked what brought me to GF, and I told her for a funeral, she immediately said that I would be given a bereavement rate, on top of the already "best rate" that had been quoted me over the phone and that I believed was more than reasonable for the quality hotel Staybridge suites are known for. I was given much more than a basic room...not only was I in a very quiet section of the hotel, the room was wonderful. Full kitchen w/ stovetop, microwave, apartment size fridge, dishwasher and full complement of dishes. The bathroom was spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've been treated to in a long time. I was also given a courtesy call by the front desk w/in 15 minutes of settling in. In the morning, there was fantastic continental breakfast w/ fresh made waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, lots of fruit choice, yogurts, cereals and oatmeal...it was much more than I had expected. Throughout my stay, the staff was courteous and helpful and the lobby and grounds were well taken care of.
