There was a large gap in my door to the hallway and being on the third floor I was able to hear people above me. Luckily it wasn't too loud at night but just something to keep in mind. Bathrooms were clean and housekeeping came every other day. Breakfast was your typical hot buffet but they also had yummy fresh fruit of strawberries and grapes. The coffee was also bad though. Yuck. I didn't interact much with staff but they seemed friendly at check in. Decent stay but nothing to write home about.

My room amenities were adequate, parking is free, it is very close to the airport and within walking distance to a few restaurants (Hokkaido, Applebees, cattleman's) and stores. Breakfast included, on par with your typical offerings at Hamptons. Lobby was small, but updated and nice. Another nice perk was the shuttle service provided to/from the airport, I utilized this for a very early departure with no issues on timeliness. A few other in one group did have some concerns regarding carbon monoxide alarms going off and the pool was closed one night during my stay as fire department staff must have been investigating this concern.

The staff set me up with a space heater. - you could hear others in the hallway and other rooms After staying at both the Hampton Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn it's kind of a tossup between the two. The gym at the garden Inn is superior, but the included breakfast was kind of nice at the Hampton Inn with the fresh fruit. Regardless of where you stay, I'd recommend choosing the top floor for noise levels.

The Hilton Garden Inn was the first to upgrade me to a nicer and bigger room. The Marriott's didn't bother upgrading me. Orion greeted us when we first arrived. As a lowly gold member, I didn't think they would give me an upgrade. He immediately gave me a better room as soon as I asked. The room he gave us seemed to be a larger suite. The room had a nice king bed. It was nice and comfortable. The bathroom had the Hilton special gym like dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and lotion from Zero. This Hilton Garden Inn had a nice gym. The gym had sanitizing wipes to clean the machines. They had ellipticals and treadmills for your cardio needs. They had dumbbells and pilates balls. It was a well equipped hotel gym. Breakfast is served downstairs in their restaurant. Lowly gold members like me are given $10 in food credit per person. Unlike Marriott hotels, I did not have to pay extra for breakfast and a drink for my wife and I. I had the option of ordering off their menu or their breakfast buffet. This Hilton Garden was a wonderful hotel for us. I liked everything about it. I definitely would stay here again if in Great Falls again.

The staff was some of the friendliest I have ever encountered at a hotel. I only remember one as nice ever (in Missouri). Rooms were so spacious (wish every hotel was like this!). Two queen beds, a small table, a couch and double sinks outside the bathroom (so great for multiple people getting ready at the same time). It was spotless! I would guess it's a family owned business based on the care you can see that's been put into it. And breakfast...just WOW!!! Without a doubt the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! Only comparable was the hotel in Missouri! Don't pass up this little gem! You will not regret your stay here!

Then the fun began, the lady at the front insisted on selling us a roll in bed, i was like we don't need that as my reservation says we have a room that sleeps 5, she went on and on about how we could sleep 5 in 2 queen beds or rent the roll in... She was loud, agressive, denying fault even as i showed her the reservation, ended by telling us to "p... off" This is THE worst experience we have EVER had at any hotel. Hotels.com immediately refunded us for the night. Never ever stay at this place.

Before giving an honest review of this Comfort Inn, we need to establish the current national…read morebaseline for American hotels. Today's average US hotel features carpet in every conceivable shade of vomit--with "Upchuck Elegance" being the clear fan favorite. Every room comes standard with a pristine view of the asphalt parking lot, wall artwork that looks like it was fished out of a shower drain, rattling AC vents, shower controls you need an engineering degree to decipher, a youth hockey team roaming the hallways at 3:00 a.m., and either no Bible or--worse--one replaced by Fifty Shades of Grey. So, where does this particular Comfort Inn rank? THE GOOD Exceptional Staff: The staff is genuinely friendly, helpful, and courteous. Big points for that in a day and age when service industry interactions can feel pretty hostile. Free Breakfast: A solid perk, though a little daily rotation would be nice for guests staying more than a night or two. Cleanliness: The hotel and rooms are clean across the board. (I won't debate mattress firmness, as bed comfort is purely subjective.) Convenient Location: Easy walking distance to a few restaurants and the local, slowly fading mall--which still has a few surviving stores! A Classic Touch: There was an actual Bible waiting in the drawer. THE BAD Curtains with Boundary Issues: The main curtains don't shut, letting "Mr. Sun" give you an unsolicited early wake-up call in the summer (though the sheer curtains at least provide privacy). Loose Outlets: Multiple wall outlets are so loose that plugs just fall out, rendering them practically useless. TV Quirks: Closed captioning didn't work on the remote and wasn't available in the settings menu. Minor Inconveniences: Front desk service can require a brief wait, and while there is a pool, there's no hot tub. Dynamic Pricing: Rates suddenly hiked during our stay. Look, this is Great Falls, not Rome--it's not that touristy. THE VERDICT At the end of the day, I felt safe inside and comfortably protected from the dark elements outside. It's a solid, dependable stay and still cheaper than the other hotels in the area--just pack a eye mask for the curtains and a portable battery pack for your phone!
