I stay in IHG 200 plus nights a year mainly staybridge........ Lost WIFI all weekend, their answer was, it happens... Construction working past 7pm nightly Food, the worst I have ever experienced and they charge for beer!!! Front desk responsiveness..... sub par!!! 5 minutes when they are behind the wall talking on the phone!!!!! Asked for managers contact, was told they will be here "tomorrow" I don't blame the raw sewage smell outside on them.... But it's definitely there!!! There's a stay bridge a few miles south of here WAY BETTER!!! read more

Disappointing start to my day at the Staybridge. The messaging from this operator needs to improve. Came downstairs after 7a for breakfast and nothing hot was out. After asking the front desk, they said an employee didn't show up for work. Came downstairs a little later and they had a sign up that said their oven was down. Excellent hotel. My room is large and well arranged to make the most out of the available space. Nice desk area with good lighting and plenty of outlets. It's always nice to be able to plug in my laptop, iPad, phone, and mobile hotspot without having to search for outlets or unplug a lamp. The shower is very nice, and there is plenty of space in the closet. Everything was very clean, the lobby, the breakfast area, hallways. The business area has several computers and a nice color printer. This hotel is very quiet, It is a great location with a grocery store and many restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful stay this far. Customer service is excellent! Assisted with early check-in, no problem. Room is actually one of the best stays I have ever seen in a room. The suite was excellently done well. No issues. Great water pressure, temp, etc. Comes with dish soap, dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, fridge, desk, closet, and everything comfort! Bed is comfy. Room is lovely- staff has been wonderful. I'm enjoying my stay immensely, but the laundry facilities are broken and there's no word on how long that will take to fix. Don't stay here--trying to get off cheap. We chose this property mainly for the free breakfast--it's nice when you're traveling to be able to just run down in your leisure wear. Sadly the breakfast was the worst part of our stay. Only two hot options: scrambled eggs and sausage links. (The batter machine for waffles was not working so that wasn't an option; it clearly hasn't worked in a while, as evidenced to the sign taped to it). The eggs were burnt brown, I mean literally brown chunks throughout the serving dish. If you tried, you could dig around the burnt parts to get to some yellow parts. The sausages appeared to be reheated leftovers, with a black crust on most of them. They were so overdone as to make it difficult to cut the with the plastic knife and fork provided. Oh yeah--the only options to eat with were paper plates and really cheap plastic knives and forks. My wife and I each broke a fork trying to cut the sausages. I went to the front desk to complain, and surprise--no one was there. I sent an email to the GM hours ago, no reply. This is NOT what I expected from a Staybridge. Had I known this I would have picked a less expensive hotel option and just gone out for breakfast. Just be aware it appears the property is trying to get off cheap, and don't care much about a guest when they have checked in and paid. read more

The staff is amazing. husband and I stayed there for a week due to he had to have hip surgery. They accommodated us for his surgery. Gave us a downstairs room close to the door to where he didn't have to walk far. Everyone was fantastic will be staying there from now on. Rooms, Hallways, front desk area, laundry room, dining room, pool, and fire pit area all very clean. Beds were amazing. Free laundry, and on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening's that have a little dinner for free. We love this place read more

Don't Stay Here, No One Wears Mask and I had to Call Police on an Employee So I'm shocked at how no one were a mask here and the stuff is to afraid to in force that simple rule that they have posted everywhere. This is not a safe place to stay and they are not taking COVID19 measurements like they say on TripAdvisor. But yet the black woman that is a cleaning lady with a front silver tooth try to fight me in the lobby this morning. Donna Craig, the manager from my understanding, I first went to ask about a surprise add on to my bill of 79 dollars. Then I later asked her about the blonde gentleman from last night. This whole Hotel was full of drunken and smoking people partying all night, while we tried to sleep. This is one of thee worst Hotel I've been to. And the night guy quoted, I'm not going to get in a fight to ask people to wear a mask. How about you don't let them stay then. I'm shock to find out this is a IHG Hotel. When coming this way if you want to stay safe, stay at Best Western were they do infouce the wearing of the face mask rules for everyone safety. Also, I put a complaint into Corporation about Donna Craig checking me out of the room without my consent and keeping my thing hostage at 8am, plus the black cleaning lady trying to fight me and me calling the cop on them to retrieve my items. read more

Glad to stay in one of the nice suites again. Rooms come with large refillable bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but ours were empty. I called the front desk since we just checked on, but no answer. I trapsed back down to the front desk only to find that the girl that checked us in was gone. The phone was ringing off the hook, the door to the office and sundries pantry wide open. There was another guest standing there waiting also. I called out "hello" but no one answered. Went back up and knocked on the housekeeping door and found it unlocked. Peeked my head in and saw shampoo and conditioner so had no choice but to help myself. No worries, I got what I needed. Small ant and knat problem at the breakfast bar. Still love the suites and would recommend. read more

This is my new favorite place to stay while I am in the area. Traveling for a living makes you somewhat of an expert. I enjoyed the room that had a small kitchen and living room. This hotel provides breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is the typical as you see in most other hotels. But let me add that they have a soda fountain. It is nice to have a fountain Coke in the morning or evenings instead of coffee. The dinners are relatively basic but I found them excellent. Last night they had hamburgers, grilled chicken, and hotdogs. Hot and fresh, with all the fixings. They also have beer on tap available in the evenings, freeto the guests with their dinner. It was so nice to have dinner available, as I am often tired after working all day and sometimes going out in the evenings is tough. read more

Staybridge rooms are are bigger and water pressure strong..service is good here, frequent travelers are recognized and treated well. This is a brand new location which is designed to be upscale and extend stay. The rooms are very nice and comfortable with a living atra,kitchen and bed. There is a weekday nighttime reception with beer, wine and a light dinner.The Staybridge brand seems very similar to other upscale properties like Homewood Suites. The only reason why I gave it a 1 star is because on the last night stay, the morning desk clerk try to say our room smell like marijuana and try to put us out and was going to charge me $150. There was absolutely no smoking in the room and their was no evidence of any type of smoking was in the room. That was unfair and she was a complete bitch since we had been staying here. Stayed for a week and not once they said it smell like smoke or anything and if it was smoking in the room then the smoke detectors would of went off. Other than that, the room was comfortable and clean and the other staffs except her was really nice. Just watch out for her and she normally work monday thru friday morning shift. read more

This is a top notch hotel. We were in visiting family and booked our room thru hotwire. The only hiccup was with hotwire on the website it said check in was 10 when it is actually 3. That being said the staff were very kind and were able to work with us to check in earlier than 3. The rooms are huge. The pool was a tad chilly but that's ok because it was cold out anyway. I was amazed by the firepit and free laundry service. The hotel itself is surrounded by places to eat and isn't far from downtown. Would definitely stay here again! read more

Nice hotel and staff but Staybridge charges $150 for incidentals for one night. When asked they simply tell you they can't release it back for 3-5 days. If I wanted a $300 hotel room, I would have gotten one. This is a ridiculous company. Never again. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. read more

This is where we stay when we visit my daughter at college. We get the suite with our family size. Two separate bedrooms and a living room. The rooms are spacious and clean. Everything looks new and well taken care of. The breakfast is really appetizing, with fruit! The staff is very helpful and accommodating. It has a nice little snack shop if you want to grab something, but you also have several restaurants with a block. They definitely set a new standard for hotels! read more

My family of 4 (2 kids 2 adults) stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Hotel is in a great location right next to restaurants and grocery shopping. We got the 2 queen beds suite and it was perfect amount of space for us. I loved having a separate living area and a door on the bedroom! My only complaints are 1)that one of the beds was against a wall making it difficult for myself to get in and out of bed (and I'm still kind of young). Next time I'll give that bed to the kids. And 2)the toilet paper was awful! Literally paper thin and rough! The kitchenette was awesome! Dishes, pots, pans, and anything you could need if you were going to eat in! We did not try the breakfast so I can not speak for that unfortunately. The staff was courteous the few times we needed to speak to them and they even left us a handwritten note on the morning we slept in and didn't ask for cleaning services. Overall a great experience! We will definitely make this our go to hotel when in the area! read more

Here on a business trip for two weeks. I had to look outside of downtown Lexington because it was hard to find the government rate during the Keeneland horse race events going on. Found this great hotel. New, clean, large room with kitchen. Grocery store and restaurants all within short walking distance. Water pressure good. Good cable stations available, many in HD. Also includes free HBO and HBO2. Offers free (and fast) wi-fi. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, they have a free evening reception offering light food and free wine or beer. My room did not have a tub. Rooms do not have a safe but you can use their safe deposit box at front desk. They have a small store that sells snacks. read more

I love the hotel. I have to admit it was truly hot in my room ( even at 1 am it was 77 degrees). I had called the maintenance guy to come check the air conditioner. He stated that it was motion censored and someone needed to be moving within the room. I went downstairs to see if they had an osculating fan in hopes that the movement from that would keep the air conditioner on. On my way back up, I ran into one of the cleaning ladies who had overheard my conversation. And said she completely understood because that's the room she cleans all the time room 301. She went and looked throughout the hotel for a fan for me and then later came back to the room with a box fan. Come to find out this lady had went out of her way and went to the store and bought a fan out of her own pocket to make sure that I was comfortable for the night. I want to give a huge shout out and that is the reason I am giving five stars I want to get a huge shout out to Heather H at Staybridge Heather, Hunter thank you for all you do. Great hotel!!! Enjoyed our stay a lot!! The only issue we had was housekeeping. The new older lady that had just been hired at the hotel was wonderful and if it had not been for her, we would not have got fresh linens. The other housekeeping staff never one time did anyone come in our room to make our bed, change sheets or give us fresh linens. Also, the gentleman running the breakfast could have cared less about being there. He was rude and the patrons seemed to be an inconvenience to him. I work in the food industry and I understand people can be stressful but don't come in to work if you don't like it. Very poor attitude. Other than that, the hotel was fabulous and I plan on staying there again when I return for a visit!!! read more

I would especially like to commend Carol, Tiffany, and Damon for providing EXCELLENT customer service!!! Professionalism and "doing your job" is one thing but it's rare and refreshing to find people who are genuinely caring and accommodating. We had a large party in town for a wedding with a variety of preferences and needs and Carol, Tiffany, and Damon went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and comfortable. I stayed here several times in the past with no issues for work related business, but this last time I was not impressed. I may look elsewhere next visit to Lexington. The good: They had $1 drinks and free snacks on some evenings. The room and facilities were modern. Internet worked reasonably well on my PC (34ms ping, 3Mbps up/down) Towels and bedding were descent. The not-so-good: 1. I had to use the business center to print something. I found a lot of trash on the counters in the business center (half filled cups, old papers, etc), which stayed there for 2 days before it was removed. 2. The breakfast was not too impressive: No yogurt was available for several days of my stay, no bananas, no apples. They had runny instant oatmeal that appeared to have diary added, the scrambled eggs had a metallic taste one day. Most coffee urns were empty, even with only a few tables occupied in the breakfast area (not busy, maybe it is a sign?). There was loud music blaring from food prep area some days; the sound overcame the TV, which was set to Animal Planet instead of an unbiased news or weather source. I can only take cute puppies for so long.... 3. A dog was barking continuously in one of the guest rooms one evening. I could hear it in my room. Someone probably left it unattended. The barking was annoyingly loud and went on for hours. We could also hear it all the way in the lobby. 4. We found a dead roach in main walkway near dining/breakfast area. At least it was dead. 5. My room was not attended to as well as I would have liked: no laundry bag was provided, no spare toilet paper was provided, the toilet has "specks" of poo in the bowl from the previous guest. The toilet specks remained throughout my stay. There was a partially-used hand lotion bottle in the room when I checked in, but no shampoo bottle was provided. The shower corners were discolored. 6. My colleague's second floor room near the elevator was noisy from the elevator equipment and a noisy air conditioner unit. 7. The entrance of the hotel was flanked by a dead plant in the planter and lots of used cigarette ends. 8. The grass in courtyard area looked like it needed mowing. 9. The internet did not seem to work on my iPhone. Overall, I'd say the hotel has become "unkempt" quickly. read more

I just recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Lexington, Ky, I really enjoyed it. The property was clean and the staff was very courteous. The continental breakfast buffet was like none other that I have ever experience. I enjoyed the indoor pool and also the exercise room on site. The property is located near several nice restaurants, stores, and just minutes from downtown. I will be staying here again when I pass through. read more
