This was my first time staying at a Staybridge location, although I am quite familiar with IHG hotels. The hotel staff was amazing. I had the opportunity of meeting Amanda, Amanda and Miranda! The hotel is very easy to find, and it is clean. Fur babies are welcome here! The rooms were super spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel offers breakfast and the breakfast staff was nice as well. I was very comfy and I felt safe at this hotel. The price was cost-effective, especially during the holidays. My family and I stayed in a two queen bed studio suite. So spacious, a kitchenette stocked with cooking utensils and a sofa bed. Note - apparently not all rooms have a sofa bed, we weren't expecting it and it was a nice option. The bathroom has an area with a bright mirror light to get ready in, and the best part (for me) was guest laundry was included!!! Whaaat! A laundry basket was provided, there were only two of the three washing machines working but after taking a dip in the newly renovated pool, it was nice to be able to wash our wet bathing suits to be able to take home. It's an extended stay hotel, so the amenities were nice. The workout room was a bit smaller than I'm used to but it was nice to have everything in the same general area. 10/10 would stay here again. read more

Loved this hotel we stayed from Thanksgiving until Saturday. Was fully booked had no issues with parking our loudness. Didn't really even run into many guest! The rooms are absolutely amazing. We had three rooms. Two rooms with two Queen beds, kitchen area, and living room like area. The king sweet room was such a good size with a kitchen and couch and dest as well. As soon as I walked into the room I was so impressed. The bed was so comfortable. Having a swivel tv was nice to be able to watch it from the couch or the bed. Lots of lights in the room. The bathroom mirror was perfect for someone applying makeup with the lights behind it. They offer Free breakfast Free gym room A pool Dog friendly. We definitely enjoyed the pool. It is salt water. The breakfast was just ok wasn't as great as other hotels we have visited. They didn't have milk for cereal the orange juice was so watered down. And not a lot of options. Overall the hotel was so nice, clean, and quite. Right in front of it is a 7-11 which is nice you can walk to get snacks and take them to your room. Located really close to shopping areas. read more

Super pleased with our recently stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. Conveniently located right off of route 1 and 95, there's a 7-11 practically in the parking lot and an entire shopping plaza with anything you may need within 5 minutes...but you probably won't need much in addition given the amenities here. Breakfast daily; dinner & drinks m-w included and you also have a kitchenette in room with a small yet full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Nice sized, clean room with kitchenette, desk, living area, bed, prep area then bath shower. Only downside is Furniture showed a little wear and tear and the garbage cans need to be way bigger but honestly that's no big deal in the scheme of things. Downstairs, the common area is beautiful where breakfast is served, nice high ceilings and decor. Laundry is free and attached to a small gym which is also attached to a small pool which we had to ourselves all weekend. Staff is very friendly and exterior is clean safe and well kept...only complaint there is that there's no overhang/carport situation why was a bummer because it was raining when checking out. We'll most definitely be back if necessity arises when in the area! Ps the curtains actually keep out the light! read more

We will never stay here again. Our room didn't have a shower curtain, spoons, bowls and the gym equipment is broken. The rest of the dishes were left in the dishwasher. The front desk told me that they just pull things from other rooms to replace items missing in rooms. I suggest having a checklist completed of required. items in the rooms before guests check in. read more

Awesome stay this past weekend at the Staybridge Suites Quantic - Stafford at 2996 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Stafford, Virginia. Overall amenities, location to Quantico and Stafford, and Service were all exceptional here. Service BY FAR blows every other place in the area out of the water.  Kayla, Aly, Erin, Diana, and Mary are all phenomenal. We had the whole family staying here for the weekend as we held our Wedding locally at a vineyard and we could not have been more happy with how they not only handled our reservation and needs, but the rest of the group as well.  Kayla, Aly, Erin, Diana, and Mary are all truly Rockstars of the hotel industry.  This hotel is lucky to have each of them. I woke up in the middle of the night to my hand itching with little tiny red bumps. Didn't think too much of it and scratched for a bit then went back to bed. I thought they were just a little irritated. I woke up later in the morning and the bumps were bigger and fingers a little swollen. I get back home later that evening in Okc and got to work Monday and a nurse looked at my hand and asked if I had been at a hotel lately and I told her how I just got back the night before and I asked why. She said she highly believes they are bed bug bites. Another nurse had said the same too. I waited the next day to see if it would get better and only worse. I tried calling the hotel and was on hold for almost twenty minutes then had to get back to work. I called back the next day and the wait time was longer so I opted for the call back option. They never called me. I called again today and was on hold for 35 minutes with no one to answer after they said the wait would be about 11 minutes. I finally emailed them because I don't see them answering the phone anytime soon. Besides the bed bug bites, the bathroom door doesn't shut all the way and the water only had one temperature. I tried moving it around but it only changed the pressure but was still super hot. I had to stand outside of the water and splash it on myself to shower because it was too hot to stand in it. read more

"An OK place to stay ..." Recommended. We're IHG Spire Elite members and enjoy chain hotels worldwide. This hotel is an OK place to stay but not particularly noteworthy otherwise. As other visitors have noted, parking is a problem because of limited area. The hotel is crammed up against a hill in a small area co-located with a gas station. There's no overhead hang at the entrance to shield visitors from the rain or snow. The Staybridge and Candlewood suite hotels are the long stay members of the IHG chain. Both need improvements in the mattresses in guest rooms. We find the mattresses too soft and worn for our tastes. And rooms with King beds seem to be rare. We'd return. But if we did, we would insist on a King size bed and at that, one with a firm mattress as conditions to be met, before we would stay here again. Stayed March 2016, traveled as a couple read more

An ok stay. Hotel suite furniture and carpet are old and dingy. Housekeeping used dirty mops to clean the kitchen and bathroom floors-floors were stinky and smelled like urine, when I cleaned the floors with a wet washcloth the it was black from the dirt (super grossed out). Breakfast wasn't great. The eggs were super runny and slimy, even after asking for harder cooked. Not super impressed. Front desk Staff was nice though. read more

Staying here for a month with my family while waiting for our house. The suite with a stove is like a mini apartment. Really comfortable. Guest are friendly breakfast, gym, pool, and laundry are convenient. Seven- eleven within walking distance, Target, Walmart, Quantico,and Fredericksburg. Maybe for an overnight stay it would be ok. I am here with my 4 kids and dog for a few weeks until our house is available and my husband is at school at Quantico. We have been here in 8 days and on day 2 I told them the dishwasher doesn't stay closed (therefore doesn't work)... when I picked up the phone to call the front desk neither of the phones in the rooms worked. I went to the desk (two very friendly staff who have been trying to help me the last 8 days) and they sent the maintenance guys. They told me I'd have a new dishwasher the next day and they'd fix the phones. I bumped into the maintenance man in the ball two days ago (day 6) and asked if there was any word about the dishwasher and he said no. Now the elevators are down... I'm on the 5th floor with 4 kids and a dog... inconveniently, I had knee surgery a few months ago and going downstairs is not easy (Especially with the dog). unreal - NEXT I asked them to bring towels and vacuum the room several times.... NOTHING. Thank goodness for the two helpful people working at the desk.... otherwise we'd have no toilet paper, paper towels, or towels. The kind gentleman even brought the vacuum up and offered to vacuum himself once he learned the cleaning staff had yet again not come and they were already gone for the day. I really have no idea how we are going to survive the next few weeks. This is truly the very first time I have ever written a bad review. The hotel is clean and like I said, the staff is friendly so that's why we haven't left. I'm also in no position to reload my car with all of our stuff and all of my kids. But if you're looking to stay somewhere longer than the weekend this is NOT the place. read more

Staybridge Suites in Quantico/Stafford, Virginia is a new hotel. Everything is shiny and clean. the staff was pleasant and we loved our room. You get a full breakfast and not just continental and if you stay during the week they have special free food events in the evenings. These are usually Tuesday through Thursday only. The pool was nice and very clean. They also have a 23-hour laundry service, gym, business center, and great sitting area with a fireplace. Staying at the Stafford, VA location. I got attacked my a night shift manager. How things went down: She disappeared for 30 min from her desk and I could not get into my room. When she came back from outside she found me sitting at the desk eating my food waiting for her. Then she started yelling at me that I left crumbs on her desk before i was even able to clean up... then she called me stupid and a fucking asshole after we exchanged a few words. She also threatened to call her husband who is going to come over and kick my ass... I can't sleep I think she is going to break into my room and attack me. Last week I flew to VA to visit my Marine son, his wife and their new baby. I didn't want to be a burden on them, so I decided to book a room near their apartment. There weren't many to chose from in Stafford, but Staybridge looked like it had a lot to offer, so I went ahead and booked a suite for a mere $81.00 a night. The whole experience could not have been more pleasant, from beginning to end. Very nicely appointed rooms, extremely clean and modern, lovely kitchen area, and a super comfy bed! I also loved that the A/C in the room worked so efficiently, as I am from San Diego and NOT used to the temp/humidity in VA! Another great perk was that the window shades were so heavy and dense that you could not see or feel sun coming through the window, even in the middle of the afternoon. They do offer what sounded like a very nice complementary breakfast in the lobby, but following the type of diet I do, I chose not to partake of it. However, I still thought it was great that they offered this, considering the fact that the rooms have wonderful kitchenettes in them. There is a 7-11 in the same parking lot, which I thought was very convenient. The night I checked in, I was able to stock up on water, eggs, butter, etc. Super convenient! All-in-all I would rate this an A+ hotel experience, and if I ever go back to Stafford, you can bet Staybridge is where I'll stay. read more

Nothing went right from the start. I booked a room under my IHG Points about two months before I stayed. Once I arrived, the check in staff informed me that I couldn't use points since they were 100% booked, and that I would need to pay the rack rate! That's the equivalent of a bait and switch in my opinion. You don't let someone book at one rate and try to charge another when they show up, especially your loyal guests! Once in our room, we found a single bed for the 4 of us. We definitely booked at least a 2 bed room, but since it was so late and they were booked, we lived with it, kids slept with us in a queen. Next morning, kids wanted to go in the pool. The card holder says pool opens at 8am, when it actually opens at 10. Thanks StayBridge. After the pool, we head back up to the room, which of course is inaccessible. They checked us out by mistake. Walked the kids dripping and cold back down to get new keys made. Those keys worked for about an hour. After that, apparently our door lock battery died. Front desk staff had no way to get in. So we had to wait around for 2 hours since our money and phones were locked in the room. What happens if there was an emergency? Your staff should know these things. What a waste of time. And through this all there was no sincere apology, front desk staff acted like we were bothering them. They did eventually give us a free night at this same StayBridge. Due to lack of of customer service, I seriously doubt we'll be back. read more

I got in just after midnight, seemed a little sketchy , so I emptied out the car. I had to take two trips because there was no real off load and pick up place. Finally got to my room, .. it wasn't in the best condition .. but livable. I started to unpack .. and I felt this itch on my leg. I pulled down my sock to see that I have two fleas bites. I am so allergic to the things that the botw site turns big and red. .. almost the size of a nickel. Then I saw the little creature on my foot. I got the management to get me a new room. .. still had fleas. I'm to tired to get a new hotel room. read more

This was literally the best hotel I've ever stayed at! It was $80 when I was told that they are normally a lot more I got a good discounted rate. From the staff to the room everything was perfect and I slept like a baby the bed was so comfortable and clean and it even smelled clean! The room was beautiful with a couch for 80 bucks! I stay in a number of IHG hotels for my business. This is one of the worst. Internet is weak and does not allow streaming of many programs. The staff is most overwhelmed and/or incompetent. The eating area is not sufficient for the number of guests. The exercise room is pitifully equipped and is attached to the laundry room, which means that all the heat from the washers/dryers pervades the exercise room. read more

Great breakfast buffet with lots of variety. 7-11 practically in the parking lot where we could buy wine and snacks! The rooms are great, generously sized, clean, full of amenities but don't stay here because they offer free breakfast. We stayed here for a week and they ran out of all the food and what was left everyday was stale bagels and toast... My home away from home for a few weeks. Rooms are clean and they have free breakfast each day as well as dinner on monday-wednesday. They also have free Bud Light, Amber Bock, and wine on those days for the guests. The front desk was excellent, always someone there to assist with my needs. I'm disappointed with the sales manager at this hotel. I had contacted her personally to make reservations more than 30 days since we were moving. She came back telling me there were inconstant dates and I would have to move from the hotel on the dates that are not available. I then went personally to the hotel and didn't say anything about speaking to the manager and told the front desk the same exact dates. The front desk had the dates available. We are staying at this hotel this weekend for a planned family reunion. We coordinated rooms across the hall with family members only to find we weren't even close. No maid service...no towels...and our daughter is locked out of her room because of a bad battery in the door...very poor customer service!! Would highly recommend another brand of hotel!! read more

Terrible service. I was treated horribly while there and my credit card was charged an extra $750 for a fake cleaning bill after I left. I even cleaned the room before I left and while I was there. I had too because no one ever came to the room to clean, and when I asked for a maid to come, they dropped off a vacuum and told me to do it. read more

Very nice hotels. We where in town for a wedding and we have kids, so this place was great. Just minutes from the local Wal-Mart and other shopping places, this place is great. It has a 24 hour convenient store across the street, and a great kitchenette in the rooms, with all utensils that you would need to make a decent meal. The rooms where very spacious and they also had continental breakfast each morning. They also provided a monthly calendar of things going on in the hotel that might be of interest to the guest. They have a pool, gym, and laundry room for those long stays. The staff was very nice and always made sure we had what we needed during our stay. The one thing we where looking for that we thought was here was pull out couch, that was not the case. They do provide baby cribs(we saw one on our way out). I really enjoyed the stay there with my family, if ever in the area again I would stay here. The price was great for the amount of time we where there. Very clean and safe establishment. read more

Just stayed at this hotel we had a block/group set up for our family reunion FOR MONTH PRIOR TO ARRIVING. We had family from many states that drove for hours, my family of 5 arrived a little before check in, at first they couldn't find my reservation then when they did our room was not ready at check in time, then we got the wrong suite... so I went n told them, waited (again) for another room (thinking we were waiting on king suite) joke was on me.....got to that room a standard king (mind you again a family of 5), told them again n was told they none of those THEY OVER BOOKED N GAVE PPLS ROOMS AWAY......... we had cousins who didn't get the room they reserved forcing them to pay another 2 nights for a additional room, there was absolutely no parking come night told to park on street on on side of 7-11, front desk gentlemen on 2nd shift Saturday was rude to my other cousin when she asked for a luggage cart he told her to go look for one as she's holding her baby, it's pet friendly so if you don't mind dog pee on the floor soon you step off the elevator or your reservation completely screwed up especially for a important event or you don't mind unprofessional people who don't take thier job serious n hiking to your hotel this is a great place to stay not to mention the shower in my cousins room that was clogged n the flat top that only had one burner working n a freezer that made some of the food for the reunion picnic go bad, or the fact they let someone else check into another cousins room then when my cousin arrived after they checked him in as well gave him a key n bam a dude in his room!!n SMH weekend staybridge way to take away from our family reunion with all the problems and lost time dealing with all this N PARKING IS A MAJOR ISSUE!! This is a very nice clean hotel for a very comfortable stay. The rooms have full kitchen, with a dishwasher, great little fridge, and all the home comforts. They have free laundry open 24/7 next to the indoor heated pool and gym. Breakfast is awesome with a vast choice of food and the evening dinners with beer and wine along with the great snacks. Made a reservation for a prepaid King Suite. Arrived and was given a Queen room. When asked about my King Room, I was told that they were sold out and would never have gotten a King room for that rate. I asked to speak with a manager and the manager never surfaced. I have a confirmation of my rate and the king room. Looks like a bait and switch advertising technique. The hotel was clean and new. While clean and new, I'll never stay there again. To be patronized and ignored is not what I consider customer friendly. read more

We spent a night and it was one thing after another. First I'll start with the positives-nicely decorated lounging areas in the main area, decent breakfast, decently laid out rooms and clean bathroom. I booked this because of the one bedroom suite options. Now for the negatives- when we arrived my husband asked about using his military discount, we were told no because I booked the room. ok so what...we went to our room only to find a dirty rag on the floor in the living room...ok best scenario the housekeeping staff dropped it. So I called housekeeping to take care of it. Then while I was putting clothes in the dresser I found the previous occupants undershirt.....then when we opened the sofa couch there were cracker crumbs and a piece of garbage under it. I reported the issues to the clerk when I went to get towels for the pool he beame defensive and accusatory. I will say the morning manager applied the discount, but I am not sure I want to stay at this chain after dealing with the housekeeping issues and staff. Oh when we returned to our room the next day only half of the beds were made etc. read more
