I stayed here for four nights and was pleasantly surprised at all of the amenities. The room is the perfect size, and has a great bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, and soap, which I love as an amenity. The room has a microwave, coffee maker, if you're into that, and hangers for clothes. There is a nice desk space and a TV where you can connect to your external apps. The bathroom also has a blow dryer if needed. I was on the first floor, and very close to the icemaker, which is a huge plus for me. The fitness center is ridiculously small, therefore I did not use it because it was always very busy. They do have a water station in the fitness room, so I did go in there to fill up my water several times. The indoor pool looked nice, but I did not have time to enjoy it. They have a little convenient store at the lobby if you need snacks or necessities. All of the staff were very friendly while I was there. The complementary breakfast buffet was delicious, and I like that they changed out the protein. I ate scrambled eggs and bacon, with a waffle, one day, and the same with chicken sausage the next. They also had pork sausage patties, various bread selections, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, And cereal. I love a good free breakfast! The only downside to my experience was the shower in my room, it had mold on the floor and on either side of the door. read more

What a relief to stay here. After a bad AirBnB experience, I cut the stay short and booked the last night stay here. The familiar comfort of Marriott made all of the difference for me as a Marriott frequent stay guest. The room was clean, fresh, tidy, and super comfortable. The bathrooms was also clean, tidy, and updated well. All fixtures worked well. They even had laundry that I had to use because the AirBnB had a horrible smell and it permeated all of our clothing. The staff was very helpful with getting me my laundry supplies at the front desk, plus quarters for the machines. Excellent customer service here! I will surely book this place again when we are in town visiting. Thank you! read more

I had the pleasure of staying here last month. I was greeted warmly by Aida at the front desk. She was friendly, informative and helpful. The room was clean. The accommodations were great! Check out was easy. I was assisted by the General Manager, Cesar Reina. He was personable , helpful and kind. Every staff person I met was great. I was traveling alone and at no time did I feel uncomfortable in this Inn. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. I will definitely do so again! read more

The two positives that stand out are: - The quick and painless check-in - The clean room But the clean room was only clean for the first few days of my week-long stay. I left the "do not disturb" sign off the door 6 days in a row expecting housekeeping, but never received it, although one day I did receive partial service. Towels were replaced but the bed wasn't made. Fortunately, I was put into a double bed room so I just switched beds at about the halfway point. The tiny gym (maybe 150 square feet) has exactly one elliptical, two treadmills, one bench and free weights up to 45 lbs. The breakfast is exactly what you'd expect at a Fairfield. The usual frozen food options. The coffee was decent, but they often ran out in the morning. There is a business/print center in the middle of the lobby, but I can't speak for its functionality. read more

Breakfast was stale and the same every day, unless they ran out of milk, oranges, or yogurt. If they don't have milk, they don't offer cereal so your choices are powdered eggs, sausage and waffles with some bread choices. Coffee was watery and only offered during breakfast hours. It would be nice if there was decent coffee always available in the lobby like at Holiday Inn. My room wasn't vacuumed and there is black mildew in the shower. All four of the pillows were extremely flat as if they are years old and the sheets were too small for the bed size. read more

We came here because we didn't want to drive after a visit to a local brewery. We imagined we could get a night's rest and head out in the morning. However, a room on the second floor meant that any time a loud car drove by, it sounded like it was directly next to the window. So did the loud, drunk people who were celebrating some type of event (but currently giving each other rides in a shopping cart on the parking lot). I wasn't expecting much for a cheap hotel but I would at least like to be able to have some quiet rest. Also, the bed is listed as king, but struck me as a bit small. Stopped over for a 4hr rest stop while driving through to NC. Upon arrival at 1am-ish. The front door did not open, the buzzer got no one to come forward so I had to call from my phone. The auditor emerged and checked me in, very flat and average welcome. The room was decent at first glance, bathroom large and well lit. We couldn't look around much as we were bone tired. My hubby checked the sheets and pillows for cleanliness and we went to sleep. When we left around 5am no one was at the desk. We left the key on the counter and headed out. Personally we would not select this hotel again mainly because there was no physical presence of the employee. I consider them to be an extension of the security and emergency support but they can't bear witness, prevent, or assist in the event of an emergency because they were never present. How do they even protect the companies assets. Food in the pantry and hotel supplies and furniture and fixture can be stolen with no witness. read more

I'll knock three times on the door, make sure you let me Inn. I'll bring suites. I've only stayed in the Fairfield Inn once, and it was an excellent experience. We actually turned in for the night quite early, because there's not much going on in Stafford and we were all DC'd out from the fun of the few days before. Tourist stuff, mostly. My companion on this trip likes fancy hotels, so we end up in places like this every night, and this was probably our favourite. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the rooms are expensive a.f. But they're probably worth it. Luxury, great service, smells like the room has literally never been used before. We've stayed at many Marriott hotels in the past, but this one has been by far my favorite. The rooms and amenities are comparable to those of other Marriott hotels, (except for the awesome brownies in the lobby!) but what makes it stand out from the rest is the staff. Everyone from the housekeeping crew, the front desk staff, and even the lady at the breakfast area were so nice to us. They really went out of their way at every opportunity to make our stay here even better. read more

Really impressed by my stay here, especially for the price (pro tip: Book via the Marriott website for a lower rate than hotel agg websites). Room was clean. The TV was on the small side, and there was no safe, but I appreciated having a refrigerator. The impressive part of the room was the bathroom--had the kind of shower you'd expect in a much more expensive hotel (read: glass door, fancy showerhead). It was pretty spacious too, and housekeeping left extra towels. Only thing I didn't care for was not being able to see the room door from the bed (at times, it sounded like the people going into the room next door sounded like they were coming into our room, so it would've been nice to look at the door for reassurance when they rolled up in the middle of the night). Thermostat was a little difficult to figure out but AC worked well so no complaints there. Otherwise, the hotel was fairly quiet, especially for being on a main road and hosting all kinds of kids (OK, you could hear them yelling in the pool at 7:45am, but only once you got to the lobby). They go above and beyond on the complimentary breakfast--Greek yog, fresh fruit, Nutella packets, soy milk for coffee--and the employees were on top of things. The brownies everyone else mentioned weren't at the desk over the weekend, likely because of all the kids around...they made an appearance after the weekend people had checked out, ha! Free parking, good proximity to restaurants & shops (both Dominos & Pizza Hut in the area if you're car-less), and easy to get to off the highway. I'd return. read more

My husband and I travel all over the eastern united states for his job so we are constantly changing hotels. Since we've been traveling post pandemic, housekeeping has always been a problem; each place has it's own policies on housekeeping services. Some say they will come every third day (that's been hit or miss), some say by request (which is also hit or miss). Since we travel so much and stay all over, we have earned enough points to be an elite diamond member to many places we stay, including Holiday Inn Express. However, this place has been one of the best we have stayed at; housekeeping has been top notch and very thorough. They have shown up as expected and have even come when I wasn't expecting them! Not only housekeeping, all the staff we have had interactions with have been nothing but friendly and accommodating. They even called me to let me know my packages were delivered! I've never had the front desk call me before; I didn't expect that but it was nice of them to take the time to call. This has been one of the better stays we have had and it has been so pleasant! read more

Do Not Stay at this location. If you experience a problem while staying here you will get the run around. They care more about getting your money than fixing your Promblem. My Parents and I was treated so rudely and was charged a hundred dollars extra stating that I spilled wine on the sheets. My parents had a broken toilet that was not fixed and couldn't get another room until the next night and was still charged for that day. This Hotel is a Franchise and do not !!! Stayed here on our way home from OBX. Due to work, I'm in a hotel much of the year. This was one of the finest chains I've stayed in, in a long time. Desk Mgr was fun, professional, helpful, personable. Room was spotless and the Temperpedic bed & comfy pillows made for a great nights sleep. Excellent hotel. Spotless, friendly, smelled clean, and breakfast was great. Room was new, clean and quiet. Parking was a little limited but I liked the fact that there was more around back where you entered on second floor (it's on a hill). Staff was attentive and kind.
