The place has decent free WiFi good enough that you can easily watch Netflix. The only tip I would make if you want a decent sleep in then close the brown shutters on the outside before you head to bed... I left them open so I would wake up earlier so I could explore the city. The only tip for sleeping at night was to unplug the TV as the blue standby light is fairly annoying which I did the second night after waking up think aliens had come to kidnap me... Nope it was just the Telefunken TV... Had a good rest in Palermo and would recommend staying here if you get the chance, also great if you have young kids as the owners have a family of three boys your kids can interact with. The breakfast on the 4th floor is in a space surrounded by windows providing sunny views on a beautiful morning. Typical breakfast options. Eggs, pastries, fruits, cereals, cheeses, smoked salmon, charcuterie, olives, capers, yogurt, pancakes, bacon, grilled vegetables that all looked steamed, American coffee and made-to-order espresso drinks. The area is known for its ceramics so there are plenty of opportunities for special souvenirs as well. The town contains a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cattedrale di Monreale (the Cathedral), as part of the collection of Arab-Norman churches (9 in all). Aside from the town, this cathedral alone is worth a visit. The frescoes inside are stunning, each section telling a story from the bible. Splurge for the full tour so you can visit the "museum". It is one room that houses some of the most amazing examples of marble artistry I have ever seen.
