It so centrally located that one can walk to all the downtown attractions or the central bus station. The owners are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about attractions in the city. They provide umbrellas to borrow for a rainy day...a lovely sunny roof terrace on a quiet back street. I hope to return in early 2022 to enjoy Palermo from this lovely place.

The staff is helpful and the location in the heart of the historic district is a big advantage. This is one of the best deals in Palermo and one of the finest hotels for the price anywhere.

The area is relatively quiet at night so sleeping with the balcony doors open for fresh air is possible. The bathroom is large with a good shower. The breakfast on the 4th floor is in a space surrounded by windows providing sunny views on a beautiful morning. Typical breakfast options. Eggs, pastries, fruits, cereals, cheeses, smoked salmon, charcuterie, olives, capers, yogurt, pancakes, bacon, grilled vegetables that all looked steamed, American coffee and made-to-order espresso drinks. Davide, the terrific restaurant manager, was extremely accommodating. The public spaces in the hotel were gorgeous also. We loved the location and could walk everywhere. We would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Wagner and plan to visit there again on our next trip to Palermo.
