Great enthusiasm and energy from the staff (spurred on by the croonings of Van Morrison), so it was no surprise that I received my cappuccino and New York Giant in approx five minutes even though it was around midday and the place was starting to fill up.
The cappuccino was very nice looking and as good as any I've tasted in Leamington.
The New York Giant, I had on a wholewheat bagel which may have been a mistake - a little rubbery and a definite workout for my jaw muscles as I tore chunks from it like a wild animal.
I was pleased with the amount of filling, a lot of beef, a lot of pickles, a lot of mustard. It was a very satisfying sandwich, though I admit I enjoyed the beef more for the sheer quantity of it than for the flavour.
The bagel came with a side of tortilla chips. There were several whole chips atop a pile of shards poured, I imagine, from a bag previously used as a pillow by someone with night terrors. The broken chips were too small to dip into the pesto mayo (my choice of dip, very tasty), so my only recourse was to stir them into the pesto mayo and eat with the cappuccino spoon.
