A few years ago, we had Steel Parade perform at our daughter's graduation party and it was a BLAST! Their performance was a huge hit with both young and old. Phil, Joe and Max made everyone feel at home with their winning personalities and amazing musical skills. They really know how to read, and play to, their audience. We had a number of children as well as older adults and they managed to get all of them involved in the party and dancing. I've had the pleasure of being at Taco Surf in Seal Beach a few times when Steel Parade was the band. What an amazing experience. This is one band that not only knows how to play for a party, but can MAKE the party. Always professional, always knowing what audience they're playing for, and knowing what the audience wants to hear. I'm a professional Musician and I've never seen a band get so many people to the dance floor in my life. This band knows how to groove hard, whether they're playing reggae or funk or rock or bossa nova or Strauss waltzes. Unlike most party bands, Steel Parade croons out vocal harmonies that will give you goosebumps. At times I thought all 3 Wilson brothers were onstage singing. I've gotten to know Steel Parade's founder Phil (I'm now a big groupie) and Phil knows that for any party I or my friends have, whether it be a Wedding or Bar Mitzvah or a Bris or yes even my next divorce and funeral, Steel Parade WILL be groovin' hard for it. read more
