She…read moreresponded back almost immediately and told me that she could help me navigate taxes for a 1099 position. That was the last time I ever heard from her directly. After the Yelp correspondence, I tried to send an email to set up an appointment to no avail. Thinking perhaps it was just an accidental oversight, I simply went to the Treasure Tax website to schedule an in person meeting with her for Monday of last week. An hour before the appointment, I received a voicemail from one of her colleagues that said their system only erroneously allowed me to make an appointment and that Carey was at a conference all week. He asked me to call back to reschedule, so I set up a virtual appointment for yesterday. Well, I logged in to the Zoom meeting on time and waited 15 minutes in the waiting room after the appointment was supposed to begin prior to calling the number listed on Treasure Tax's website to investigate what the hold up might be. I was connected with an employee that tried to reach out to Carey, but couldn't get ahold of her because she was away from her desk. She informed me that she would try to send a message to let her know I was in the Zoom waiting room, but that was all she could do. Fifteen more minutes elapse and I call again only to speak with a different employee who tells me nearly the exact same thing, only that this time she will URGENTLY tell Carey I've been waiting on her for a meeting that was supposed to start over a half hour before. Carey never signed onto the meeting or called me back. Needless to say, I highly discourage anyone looking for a tax preparer to engage in business with Carey Gay of Treasure Tax due to her lack of professionalism and inability to keep appointments.

They agreed multiple times that was the case... may 22nd rolls around and they try to take the original payment again. I call them may 23rd and they said I was right and they had no clue what happened and they "fixed" it. Also emailed me my insurance card since I couldn't find it. May 25th rolls around and I get an email saying my policy was cancelled on the 23rd. So I had been driving all Memorial Day weekend around with no insurance in the day and age where cops have tag readers and just have to pass you to know you don't have insurance. I call southern harvest and they contact me back saying they found out why my insurance was cancelled. It's because I didn't provide proof of prior insurance. Send them the photos of proof of prior insurance. My prior insurance was Bristol west and I got an additional discount for going paperless (most companies do that these days) I had my most prior insurance card from them but they wanted it further back... which when you have to login to pull up insurance information you know those hyperlinks don't last forever... so I sent pictures from my email where I was paying them insurance for a 12 Nissan Altima (same thing I'm insuring) they say that's not proof enough... end up contacting verve myself and they were plenty fine with what I had but wanted to charge me $50 something to reinstate the policy but no one ever told me they needed proof of prior insurance before then so I wasn't paying the fee. Verve said southern harvest had my money; southern harvest said verve has it... I paid southern harvest. went back and forth for while and I'll get my money back in 6 weeks. Don't use these little middleman insurance peddlers just worried about a commission.

I have worked in the insurance industry for nearly 10 years, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced the level of poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and negligence that I encountered today with both Natasha Nelson and Tonya Barnes. During my initial conversation with Natasha Nelson, she quoted me a premium and confirmed that this would be the amount to lock in my policy. She also repeatedly stated that our phone calls were being recorded. Based on the information she provided, I agreed to move forward with the policy. Later, I was contacted and informed that my premium would be significantly higher than what I had been quoted. While I fully understand that insurance premiums can change based on underwriting or additional information, my concern is that I was given a confirmed premium and relied on that information when making my decision. Rather than acknowledging the mistake or attempting to resolve the situation professionally, Natasha became dismissive and disrespectful. During a subsequent conversation, she again referenced recorded phone calls, then abruptly ended the interaction. I also witnessed behavior that I found highly unprofessional, including her hanging up with a customer and making an inappropriate remark immediately afterward. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was connected with Tonya Barnes. Unfortunately, my experience did not improve. Ms. Barnes was extremely short, dismissive, and unwilling to fully listen to my concerns. She stated that there was nothing she could do to assist me. She also informed me that phone calls are not recorded, which directly contradicted what Natasha had repeatedly told me throughout our conversations. As someone with extensive experience in the insurance industry, I understand that mistakes can happen. However, honesty, accountability, professionalism, and customer service should always come first. Instead, I felt that I was misled, treated disrespectfully, and denied any meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. Had I been provided with accurate information from the beginning, I could have chosen to place my business with another insurance company. Because of these events and the conflicting statements regarding recorded phone calls, I am considering consulting with legal counsel to better understand my rights and determine whether any further action is appropriate. I discovered after everything went wrong that EVERYONE offered less pricey policies with the same exact coverage. On Aug 12, 2023, I experienced a flat tire alone AL Hwy 165. I called Road Side Assistance at 3:13 pm, which they text me a link at 3:14 pm to put in a request for roadside assistance. It was EXTREMELY hot with lots of cars passing by. NOTHING, absolutely nothing was ever dispatched out. I later called them & spoke to a man. Man was insensitive & ultimately told me to pay for my own tow and STATEFARM might reimburse me. I became angry because over an hour had passed within the extreme heat. So, I got the help from the first person I can grab to get me off the road to help move my vehicle less than 1.5 miles to my home. I paid a fair amount in cash. The cash is not reimbursable because I didn't get a receipt. I got a call from StateFarm about 20 minutes later. The representative said that she had someone on the line that can come tow my vehicle and need to know whether I can put vehicle within Neutral. I said, "Yes, I just need to know when they are coming and I was told already to do my own tow, so, I need help with a tire change because I realized during this experience that I didn't have a jack for the vehicle." The lady said she would let me know & got off of the phone. The State Farm representative closed out the service request, which is now 2 tickets and never put in anything for a tire change. Time is steady ticking. I called again for a tire change. Another service request ticket was opened. Female representative said she would send someone out tomorrow at 9 AM. I said, "why should I wait until tomorrow." She said that it was too late to send someone out. I said, "people need help all the time and use roadside assistance during all times of the day. No one can predict when they need help, nor ever told to wait until the NEXT day." The lady said, "thats the best I can do". The call ended within a minute of her statement. The next day, statefarm call just before 9AM to tell me that they can not send anyone out and closing the service call. I got upset and asked her to send someone out. The lady said they need to put in another service ticket because no one will pick up the service request because its now over 16 hours old. I told her that I didn't want to wait until Monday and to please get me some help so I can go to work on a donut tire and then get it changed asap. The lady was reluctant. I got a text stating that a company was coming out between 60-90 minutes to change tire. I got excited. After 2 hours, there was NO show. I called in again. They admitted they didn't have anyone else and I should call that company. I informed them that I did already and that the call is being forwarded to a voicemail box that is full. I asked for the matter to be escalated. She transferred me to customer care. Customer care told me that I needed to call BACK to roadside assistance to ask to be transferred to a supervisor in customer care. I did as requested. Statefarm Roadside REFUSED to transfer me back to customer care to a supervisor to escalate. The service request was closed by the representative despite me firmly requesting for it not to be closed. The lady informed me that the ONLY thing she could do was put in a request for a tire change to come on MONDAY at 9 am or I can pay for my OWN tire change and might get reimbursed based on my policy. I paid for someone to come put the donut on my car. Before the job was done, the POLICE arrived. They told me they were doing a wellness check because STATEFARM said they lost contact with me over 24 hours ago. The police officer name is L.Battle. It was less than 90 minutes since I spoke with State Farm Roadside service. I tried to get tire resolved on Sunday, but, my size was not in stock at Walmart and all the open shops were already full or closed. I got tire resolved on Monday. After which, the agent calls from a number that I didn't recognize. The agent texts wanting to know what happened. I informed her that I did not want to talk until I review policy with an advisor and that I have NOT got any service from StateFarm. On Tuesday, I called to request a refund on the roadside assistance because StateFarm can not stand behind their policy and I inform agent that I am concern whether StateFarm will pay out any claims in the future should there be a need. The agent response was MORE smoke talk and blame it on AGERO (their contracted vendor). I informed agent that StateFarm selected vendor and statefarm should monitor vendor, therefore, it is StateFarm that failed me because there was no means for me to escalate. Of course, NO refunds possible on anything.
