I've been coming to Steere's since my final year of Army service at Fort Bragg, which was 2001. I've only dealt with Noah (the owner), and he is hard to miss with his imposing size of being 6 foot 5, 300+ pounds of muscle. He is a former bodybuilder as well as ex-82nd Airborne, and I have trusted his judgment on supplements and proteins for 14 years now. Steere's is located catecorner to the plaza that also has General Jackson's. For those departing Fort Bragg's gate, that means that Noah's store is on the left side of Yadkin Road. If you pass General Jackson's, you missed it. Steere's Nutrition is a small storefront, yet packs quite a bit of product. On my last visit to Steere's, Noah told me that he doesn't ship via online anymore, and primarily deals with in-store purchases. His markup is very reasonable, which is why I prefer to buy from him as opposed to a GNC or herbal store close to Cross Creek Mall. And plus, he's a straight shooter on all nutrition products. I highly recommend this store. If in Fayetteville, its well worth the 10 minutes to travel down Yadkin as well as talking to one of the most knowledgeable and highly respected nutritionists in the business. read more

Very clean, well organized with a wide variety of products. The owner (6'5 300LB of lean muscle) an ex-professional body builder and employees are super knowledgeable about fitness and the products they sell. They will recommend their products based on your fitness goals, it's not like in GNC where you get product recommendations and the sales rep is overweight and looks like he hasn't been at the gym ever. Steers also sends their new protein powder to a lab here in Fayetteville to test the protein levels and quality, all to ensure customers get what they pay for. read more

New to the area and looking for a place for supplements and SARMs since moving from Oahu recently. Not gonna lie, I was really intimidated by the guy behind the front counter and kind of scared to ask questions cause dude was straight jacked and I felt like he could tell I knew nothing about working out. However I overheard a few conversations between him and customers and he was super knowledgeable and obviously knew his stuff!!! Prices were actually pretty reasonable and I look forward to coming back and the selection was more than I hoped for. I walked in and started talking to the guy behind the counter. I misnamed some product, and he corrected me showing that he knows his shit. Also suggested I didn't actually need all the stuff I was planning on buying, showing that he isn't excessively greedy or just trying to push product. That really earned my trust. Yes, it's more expensive than big box online stores. But when you shop here you're supporting local business and at least one good person. And you know your specific brand of pre-, cre- or pro- isn't going to two day ship now a days. So shop here instead. read more
