She was great a talking honestly and listening to me about my concerns, even when I disagreed or had a different idea. I felt like this place allowed patients to really have a say in their care, rather than just wait and see what they'd be offered. I am also a fan of their business model, focusing on results and effective care through above average customer service. Multiple times, I was asked to complete surveys to assess my satisfaction and improvement according to ME. I've just never seen another physical therapy venue with an emphasis on customer service -- sounds odd, but sure makes a lot of sense! Medical services are a exactly that - a service. I scheduled my appointment on 5 Aug for 13 Aug at 3 pm at IPS 2149 Valley gate Dr. Fayetteville, NC. I received an email notification of the appointment later that day, and a text message notification to confirm the appointment, in which I did. On 10 Aug I received a second text notification to confirm the appointment. After receiving the second text to confirm the appointment, I called the office to ensure that they received my confirmation. The receptionist confirmed that they had. On Aug 11th I received an email stating that I had an appointment for their Asheboro office on the same day Aug 13th at 3pm. On 12 Aug I received a text to confirm the appointment at the Asheboro office. This prompted me call the Asheboro office to let them know that I was scheduled for the Fayetteville office location. I spoke with an individual name Tam. She proceeded to tell me that I was a new patient and that I needed to arrive 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. I explained to her that the issue is not what time I need to arrive at the appointment, but to clear up the clinic location where my appointment was scheduled. She reviewed the system and said that my appointment was scheduled for the Asheboro clinic. I explained to her that given my symptoms affecting my ability to drive why would I schedule an appointment that I would have to drive several hours away? I then called the Fayetteville office only for them to play dumb and tell me that my appointment was scheduled for the Asheboro clinic. NO STARS from me. Selected one only because I had to. On 2/19/26, I attended a scheduled appointment Integrated Pain Solutions-Summit Spine, for chronic back pain with right-sided neuropathic symptoms, in addition to new pain involving the hip, groin, and left leg. I was not informed at scheduling that the visit would be conducted via telehealth. Upon arrival, I waited approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in the lobby and an additional 35 minutes for the provider, identified here as Ms. Shivers to sign onto the visit. The clinical interaction lasted roughly 15 minutes. During the encounter, Ms. Shivers indicated that a request would be sent to another physician for medication management whom I had never been evaluated by for pain management. Delegating medication decisions to a physician who has not examined the patient, without explanation, raises concerns regarding clinical oversight, continuity of care, and accountability. As of six days post-appointment, there was no documented follow-up regarding medication adjustments or submission of the MRI referral discussed for evaluation of new and potentially progressive symptoms. Office staff were reportedly unable to locate documentation of the visit when contacted today. Pain management involving new radiating or neurological symptoms requires structured follow-up, timely diagnostic imaging, and clearly defined physician responsibility. Delayed imaging and medication oversight are not administrative inconveniences, they represent potential patient safety risks. To patients: advocate for documentation, timelines, and clarity regarding who is directly responsible for your care. To providers and administrators: timely communication, transparent physician involvement, and proper documentation are foundational standards, not optional enhancements. Operational inefficiency and fragmented oversight erode patient trust and may compromise safety. If the medical field is not a genuine concern regarding patients CARE, PLEASE FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO!!!

They know exactly what they are doing and everything they have done has been beneficial for me. I have had zero issues with appointments. Mine are twice a week. I have seen several people miss appointments and simply show up later. They have a staff of 5 ladies in the office. He laid in their facility and got severely dehydrated, didnt eat for 2 weeks there, finally put a feeding tube in after I asked 3 times. He is in his 80's his body needed time to recover, I suppose he didnt recover quick enough for them, so they called his insurance and said he refused therapy which started the ball rolling on trying to get him discharged. My family never saw his doctor or PA the full time he was there. I am only giving a one star rating because you cant give zero. No advocacy for the patient from case worker there either. Cape Fear Valley hospital and rehab are a complete joke, granted there were a few good nurses and one or two physical therapist. I made an appointment at Nextcare on Glensford Road, intentionally selecting this area based on the high quality of businesses surrounding it. I made my appointment for 6 pm to give myself time to hydrate on soup and tea. My overall experience was so-so. I showed up to my appointment 48 minutes early and I was not seen until an hour after my appointment. I understand the nature of triage so it was not so much the wait. A few notes: (1) I did not look at the google reviews so I did not see the comments previously about the "waiting". I wish I would have taken some photos of the waiting areas but it had a filthy smell and it looked as if it had not been cleaned/sanitized in a very long time. I would not want my kids to play or sit in the kid table/chairs. I felt like going to relief myself from drinking so many liquids throughout the day but I stepped inti the restroom and it looked and smelled the same as the waiting area so I held myself until i went home. Also there was no toulet paper anyway. Just not a condition I would expect to see at a "medical clinic.". (2) The front desk staff do not really hear you as I entered I told them I had pre-filled the documents and scanned my IDs on the web for this appointment. The desk person did not make eye contact but she told me to grab a mask and provide info that I previously provided online. I complied and she did later acknowledge she saw my online input. On that note, I have verification that Nextcare "pre-online documentation process" does work. (3) Regarding the masks...The front desk requested strict compliance with the mask rule which I complied and appreciated. However, they do not enforce it with the already seated patients in the waiting area. I saw most of the adults and children were not masked up. The front desk staff does not enforce them to comply. The enforced conpliance ends after they tell the patient at check-in. They cannot see over the counter if nobody bothers to get up and monitor the waiting area. (4) The actual medical staff was very caring once I was called up to walk through the door to be seen. I was given a rapid COVID exam. I was negative. Then a PA or Doc consulted me and told me there are a lot of new strains of COVID out there so he was going to do another COVID test to send out to labs who specialize in the patest strains trend. I did not know until a medical friend of mine told me later that I could have refused because that is an upsell that uour insurance may not cover and it "will come out of your pocket.". I did not know, I thought the medicalvdoc or PA was exercising authority to ensure a citizen is not contaminating the community since I drive catering/delivery in the evenings. (5) the actual medical staff and the Doc/PA told me I had to pick up a prescription at CVS on Owen drive. Not sure why they told me to go there...there is a closer CVS location at Skibo. So I went over to CVS to wait there forctwo hours only for the pharmacist Brittany to tell me there is no prescription. The Nextcare wants you to buy Robitussen. That was a complete waste of time. I wish Nextcare would have told me that instead of sending me on a wild goose-chase.
