Went in as soon as I (horribly) cracked my screen. When I say horribly- I mean like not a millimeter of my phone screen could be seen without a crack. The guy who works there is so kind and replaced my iPhone 6 screen within 15 min and it costed about ~85$ which is a great price compared to other places which told me 110$. He responded a few minutes after I messaged him on Yelp to get a quote for an iPhone 5 screen repair. -Quick service (screen replaced in about 30 minutes) -Some services cheaper than in Boston (iPhone 5 screen replacement was $50 vs $80 in Boston) -30 day warranty on work done Cons: -Might need to go back if there are follow up issues. After the repair, my phone screen began going blue abruptly several times per day and I would have to wait a minute or so before it would go back to the normal home screen. I messaged Rowaid to let him know and since it had been less than 30 days since my repair, he was happy to do another screen install and tighten anything that might have been loose underneath. The only benign issue now is that the phone doesn't go completely black when I press sleep--rather it is a very dark gray, so I'm not sure if there's any battery being used during that time. If it turns into a larger issue, I would go back to Rowaid to get his thoughts, but it seems okay for now. read more

Poor quality screens, great customer service. I went in to have my cracked screen replaced on my iPhone 7 plus.. got it replaced and immediately noticed a negative difference in color and screen quality. Kind of you get what you pay for.. so I accepted it and moved on. A few days later the screen was glitchy and not working well. I dropped it, not even badly, and it got a crack and lines throughout the whole screen.. which has never happened to me before. I brought it back in and had it changed free of charge, great customer service as I had damage on the screen (in addition to the glitchy issue that was not my doing). On the new screen I still noticed the color and quality issue but I was happy to have a working phone again. About 2 weeks later it starts going unresponsive frequently. I have to lock it then unlock it to make it work again, annoying but I can deal with it. The other day I dropped in on a carpet.. from about 2 feet and the thing cracked... that would never happen with a quality screen. I have had iphones for 8 years now and I have cracked only one apple screen... having two of these screens over the past 3 months they have both cracked. I have dropped my apple screens from 4-5 feet on cement and its fine. The screens just are not good quality. If you have an iPhone 5 or below maybe its the same, but for newer phones with nicer screens... not worth saving the money for a headache like this. I am stuck with a cracked and poorly functioning, low quality screen for a few more months until I can get a new phone. If you are going to go here maybe see if you can pay a little more for a better screen instead of the standard ones they put on because they are not worth it. I almost feel a little bad writing this review because the customer service is so good but I feel the need to because if I could do it all over again I would not come here. Mistakes happen, right? But when I brought my laptop in to fix a speaker glitch, the end result was that my whole computer got wiped. I understand (now) that's part of changing an OS...but you're supposed to ask the customer to move all of their files off FIRST. I'm a photographer. I'm self employed. My laptop is my office. Luckily my clients have all received their edits prior to the catastrophic format job. Data recovery brought some back. I'll re-load all of my editing programs then I'll know more about my loss. I went to pick up my destroyed laptop this morning and witnessed a horrible incident. A 16 year old kid had been told it would be $75 to replace phone screen (I saw the text with the quote). He came in to pick up phone and the store owner says it's $99. The kid brought $75. The store owner got angry, LOCKED US IN to the store, grabbed the kids phone back and then called 911. All the kid wanted to do was call his dad to ask him to bring the rest of the money. The guy flipped out. It was a misunderstanding, and the kid wasn't refusing to pay...but he was questioning the price difference. If it had been me, I would have done the same thing. Please, don't go to this business.
