Nowadays they focus way too much on safety and take out anything that could be remotely dangerous.. I guess that's a sigh of relief for parents but kids just want to play. Now the park has been completely modified. It's much smaller and they have taken out all the best things, like the giant tires, and replaced them with swings and other boring stuff. The school does have a huge playground though, with a few soccer fields and baseball diamond. It's great for anyone that likes to organize their own games with their friends on the weekends.

They do a different theme each month with a themed craft most days. They also have story time, free play time, carpet time each day and field trips at least once a month. They go outside as often as they can with our silly Alberta weather. I feel like this preschool has prepared him so well for French Immersion kindergarten and made him such a little independent boy. I will be sending my youngest this upcoming school year too. If you are looking for an amazing south side French preschool, definitely send your child to Les Bouts D'Choux.

Also, At that school, teachers and staff don't arrive before 8:00 Am, so I do not know how it is possible for that to have happened. You couldn't go in puddles at the time because tons of students were falling and getting wet, and removing all access is what was best for everybody! That principal was the kindest principal I have ever had, and he never raised his voice, let alone screamed at children, saying "I CONTROL YOU. YOU HAVE TO BE ON SCHOOL PROPERTY." As well, Skateboarding on the road can be illegal in some cases, so that teacher was just looking out for students to ensure ultimate safety! In That school, they cannot make you stay late, and they probably wouldn't. AND CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG, BUT I DON'T THINK THIS SCHOOL IS IN SAN DIEGO! As well as my own review, The school is not my favourite since the previous principal left. Poor planning, field trip forms coming home the day before the trip, and other things similar to that. Overall It is a decent school though, and again, Bob T's Review is Completely false information!

The class structure is easy for kids to understand and really helps them build confidence and motor skills. I can't say enough for this program. It's so beneficial for young kids and the enjoyment you see from the staff and the kids is proof enough that this place rocks. Just some notes for new parents who enrol their kids: 1. If you are going to watch your child, be courteous to pregnant women and give up your chair so they can sit. The viewing space is small so if you are going to spend all your time on your phone and not watching, leave the area to those who want to watch their kids. 2. Take off your shoes when you go into the viewing area. 3. Leave your stroller in the hallway or outside the main doors. 4. If you have to accompany your child in a class, be respectful of the instructor and the other adults with kids. Don't let your child wander around the place while the instructor is trying to demonstrate the next station to the kids. 5. Have as much fun as your child.
