I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Wolfson. From the moment I walked…read morein, she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. We spent over 30 minutes simply talking before any testing was even done, which meant so much to me. It's rare to find a doctor who truly listens to your concerns and wants to understand the full picture rather than rushing through the appointment as though I am cattle. What I appreciated most was that she focused on finding the root cause of my issues instead of immediately prescribing antibiotics, which have repeatedly failed me in the past. She offered thoughtful at-home remedies and approaches that made me feel genuinely cared for and supported. Something that was super important to me is that the vitamins/supplements she suggested were ones without additives, just clean ingredients which I have at times spent hours searching the web for. It's comforting to know she gets it and I can fully trust her recommendations. On top of that, the annual exam was the most gentle, thorough, and comfortable I've ever had. As soon as I left the office, I called my sister and two of my closest girlfriends to tell them about my experience because I was that happy! They thought I was crazy for going to someones home but I knew in my gut it was what I've been looking for. Glad to share that I was right again :) If you have any reservations, let me negate them, her home was one of the most comforting places I've been, it feels healing, inviting, and warm. It's like your moms artsy friends house you went to as a kid who you just knew was the coolest in the 70s, and probably has killer stories you hope to hear when you're a little older. I'm beyond grateful to have found her and will always go back!

I am currently 49 years old and a surviving breast cancer patient. I had gone in with concerns…read moreabout the heaviness of my cycle and I was totally dismissed. I was told it was very normal for my age. I asked for a Transvaginal ultrasound and was told they normally don't do those. Finally she agreed to write the script. I was made to feel like I was being an alarmist. I left in tears. I eventually got the ultrasound done. I found out in my patient portal that I do have a polyp and fibroids.... A week later and they still haven't called with results. I'm just floored.

I've been at patient at this huge and thriving practice since the mid-1990's. I prefer female…read moredoctors and they boast wonderful ones; I even like one who is a bit stern/cold. ALL of the doctors that I have seen here are thorough and LISTEN to what I have to say. Dr. Colella delivered my son in 2004, via C-section (his suggestion - THANK GOD! - b/c my son was a "beef!" and Im relatively small). Tremendous call, as is his "bed side manner." Whenever I call and leave a voice mail on the nurse line, my call is promptly returned. The U/S technician, Patricia, was FANTASTIC. Polite, informative, kind, and gave the most gentle exam (of this sh*tty type of one). The office recently was remodeled and lives up to the standard of their fantastic MEDICAL staff. The office staff .... not so much! Too bad you have no clue which staff member to go to with their confusing front desk area. Talk about a deer caught in the headlights! THE FRONT DESK STAFF ruins my Yelp rating. They are AWFUL - like cackling hens! They openly discuss their personal lives, how much longer until they go home and food (on this particular visit anyway). The woman who checked me in recently inquired about a past-due bill that I paid LAST SUMMER and was arguing with me about it in front of EVERYONE there! W T H ?!!!! Super unprofessional! (in my younger days, I would have been embarrassed as all get out!). I blasted her and told her that I took care of the bill last year (she asked how I paid - how in Hades am I supposed to remember that one?!!! - what a such-and-such!) before I could even make an appointment and that I was upset already about the ultrasound & biopsy that I had to get and that she was "making me even more upset," which was very true. After the "sheep" all looked at each other, one said, "I'll print you the information and you can get it on your way out, and you can call about your bill." I have yet to open the envelope. If the doctors here weren't stellar, I would not reccommend GS OB/GYN to anyone because the front desk staff (IDK if ALL of the employees stink). I feel sorry for new patients. Their first impression of the practice must be really bad. What a pity!

I had a very intense and fast labor and they were with me every step of the way. My first birth experience was very long and horrible in a hospital setting. However, this time around I felt in control and empowered to deliver without medical intervention. I delivered my son on the toilet and into a room full of love. Thanks Lifecycle!

Throughout my journey I appreciated their patient education, empowerment, and support so I could make informed decisions about my care. I like that my prenatal visits were longer than I could expect with an ob and that they provided a binder for me to bring with assigned homework each visit. Rather than having a "birth plan" (because they usually don't go as planned anyway) we were encouraged to think about our hopes and dreams. Everyone I've met here from the nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, the clinical director, etc. have all been wonderful to me and if I could do it all over again I would have become a patient here sooner. I had many questions along the way so I'm going to be detailed here so others may know what to expect. Before you can become a patient here you have to attend a seminar to learn more about their midwifery model of care, the differences between a birth in their suites vs. at Bryn Mawr Hospital nearby (you can plan to deliver there or there may be reasons you are transferred there the day of, the nurse midwife on call has the clearance to deliver there), postpartum care, and next steps to become a patient. After attending the seminar, I had to sign a medical release forms to have my records transferred from my previous provider before I could schedule any appointments. They have two locations (Bryn Mawr and South Philly) and prenatal visits could be with the same provider or different providers. The first prenatal visit is longer and billed separately while the rest of the appointments are billed to insurance together under their global plan after delivery (not after each appointment). During my regular prenatal visits they measured my fundal height and would feel my bump for the baby's position while estimating weight (they were pretty good at that)! I had to pay for lab tests and non-stress tests separately. While I had to do my formal ultrasounds elsewhere, they had the equipment to do informal ultrasounds just to check on the health of the baby and seemed to be training their staff to do these more. I was required to schedule several classes to prepare for childbirth (series of 4 classes), about lactation essentials, and about navigating your first days at home after birth. The instructors really encourage asking questions and participation, so it was helpful to have this intimate space for that. The dates and cost of these classes are available on their site but you can't schedule them until you're confirmed as a patient. After your delivery they will follow up with you (home visit if you delivered at the birth center or phone call if you delivered at the hospital). There will be a 6-weeks postpartum visit to examine you and make sure your body is recovering but also to check on your mental health (so necessary and important)! They also have weekly lactation support and new parent support groups that were happening on Zoom, I think they are also now offering in-person options too. I could tell from the session I went to that the other families really found this space helpful and were wanting to offer encouragement to newer parents like me while sharing about their knowledge/experience. Cara, one of the lactation consultants, facilitates the virtual groups and is amazing! I hope all this information helps anyone who is considering becoming a Lifecycle patient because the last thing a pregnant woman should have to worry about is the quality of care she is receiving.

I just left the ER at Jefferson Einstein last night at 11 because I had to get another D&C to remove RPOC (retained products of conception) that were still in my uterus after the surgical procedure at the Cherry Hill Women's center. My white blood cell count was also suggestive of infection, so I was receiving doxycycline via IV. Also of note, there is no use trying to call the nurse line on the discharge paperwork they give you as the phone number shown on the paper is not a working number (pictured below.) I was rushed to the ER for chills, severe lower back pain, and severe abdominal cramping such that I could not sit or drive. The 800 mg ibuprofen they prescribe at the clinic did not touch the pain, so I was offered oxycodone in the ER. If you don't want to risk this happening to you, I highly recommend trying to have the termination done in a hospital where they are more thorough and held to higher standards. The doctor told me he performs abortions on nearly 40 women in one day. It's not worth risking your life to come here. Someone called me from an unknown number claiming to be from the clinic and said she'd seen my review on here. She asked me to text her a picture of my driver's license to get a copy of my medical record. I didn't feel comfortable texting that to someone I don't know is from the clinic, so I refused. She then told me I couldn't have the copy emailed to me directly. She then told me that she was feeling threatened by me. She had not acknowledged the mistake, she had not apologized, and she offered nothing to make this right, let alone show concern for my health. At that point, I realized that I was not going to get anywhere with her, so I hung up the phone. I would not recommend these clinics and would instead suggest Planned Parenthood. Retained pregnancy products can cause septicemia or at worst turn into a cancerous tumor, so it's imperative that you go somewhere that values your health enough to properly do the procedure (or admit and apologize for an indisputable mistake.) I've already filed a complaint with the NJ Department of Health.
