While the outcome of my case was satisfactory, the experience getting there was anything but. Throughout the process, I felt left in the dark and unsupported. My attorney: * Changed my arraignment date and informed me after the fact * Was late to multiple court appearances, including my plea and sentencing * Failed to obtain the PSI report in time for sentencing * Filed a motion on my behalf without explaining what it was or getting my approval * Didn't help me prepare for sentencing (I had to research character letters myself) * Frequently failed to communicate in a timely or respectful manner When I raised these concerns, I received a defensive and dismissive response -- no accountability, no willingness to address the lack of professionalism. Just a blanket refusal to offer even a partial refund or apology. Hiring a lawyer is about more than just the outcome -- it's about trust, communication, and showing up. In those areas, I was deeply let down. I wouldn't recommend this firm based on my experience.
