I was recommended to Drs Jacob by a family member, and I couldn't have been happier with the visit. The waiting room is comfortably appointed with amenities, although I didn't get to stay there long, as I was ushered into the procedure room exactly at my appointed time. Dr. Joseph Jacob took the ex rays and pointed out the problem areas that needed addressing right away, and took immediate action when I thought I was just coming in for ex rays, as he found an abscess on a root base on an unsalvageable tooth that needed removing. Now I'm a big guy and resistant to Novocain, but he made sure I was numb and comfortable before working, never rushing and checking in frequently if I winced to see if I needed more Novocain. The procedure was long and complicated, and he took the extra time after the (painless) extraction to remove the infected tissue from the bone, saving the healthy bone matter, then suturing everything to prevent that horrible post-extraction feeling of dry socket. Truly a skilled oral surgeon. His manner all throughout was friendly, professional, and you could tell he knew exactly what needed to be done and had the experience to do it correctly. When in the hands of a healthcare professional it's important to have that level of trust in the competency of the doctor, and Dr Joseph didn't disappoint! My care plan requires future visits, and I'm confident that I'll receive the best care possible from him and his team.

They rushed me into the room, barely even spoke to me. The doctor didn't even introduce herself I don't even know her name. She didn't tell me anything that she was doing she just began. Throughout the process, she worked extremely rough and extremely fast. The doctors were talking about what they did for their birthdays while working on me. I called them today to schedule an appointment for my kids annual checkup. I found out that they do not open on any weekday evenings nor any Saturdays. They advertise they open Saturdays from 9-1pm and Monday and Tuesday till 7pm. When I tried to ask for the next available times in the Evenings and Weekends they said they do not have them. The receptionist on the phone advised that the hygienist is on maternity leave. I totally understand completely, but could you hire a temp or update the website? My question is that your a business, so you don't have coverage? Really? They should understand that people work during the day and kids are in school. Why should I take my kids out of school to go see an dentist for a checkup. I understand if its an emergency if their teeth is bothering them. I didn't even get to step foot in the office and this is the first impression I get? I'm really disappointed that the business end of this dentist office don't care about operations and they should realize that not every customer has children not in school. I've been going to Dr. Oehlberg for over 20 years. Teeth cleaning only because he found no…read morecavities. I went to him last week because one of my molars was hurting. He said maybe it was cracked and needed a crown. I asked what does maybe mean? Can he see the crack on the x-ray. He never answered me directly. I got suspicious and got a 2nd opinion the next day. Turned out I had 2 cavities in 2 teeth. The one in the molar had been there for over 5 years and almost reached the nerve, which would have then needed a root canal. I can even see the black spot with my bare eyes!!! This is aside from the fact he filled a loose filling on the same molar a month ago and never saw the cavity!! In addition, 4 old metal fillings were loose and needed to be redone. Is this guy blind or dumb? This doctor is not only incompetent, he's also a fraud.
