There are clinics (learn to run anything from learning to run to a full marathon) and weekly practice walk/runs (Wednesdays at 6:00pm and Sundays at 8:30am). The first store that I visited at this mall was Old Navy. I walked in and loved how cheerful it was. I found a sales rack where all jeans were $9.99. I managed to find a pair of jeans that I liked and headed to the change room section. The man there was enthusiastic and led me to an open change room. My jeans fit perfectly. Mine! This store felt like an outlet. There was so much merchandise on sale. I was good and didn't get an entire wardrobe. I was content with my pair of jeans. I went to line up and pay for my item. There was only one woman staffed and she was taking quite some time to help the woman customer out. The nice guy who worked the change room came over and helped with me with my item. It was nice dealing with him again. I had a great experience shopping here. It's a good Old Navy to drop by. (340)

I was not greeted when I entered by the two sales ladies that were standing at the counter talking. One just looked my way and carried in the conversation about another woman loudly. I walked slowly around the entire store, perhaps 20 minutes of time elapsed. They conversed with each other the while time. I'm 40+ , looking for something that complimented my figure and didn't age me and I had questions and no knowledge of where to start. I left overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I am an approachable person, working class and was made to feel as if I didn't belong in the store. The worst customer service. I went home, and I shopped online. Not at reitmans sadly. Something that should have been a good experience that boosted my confidence and made me feel seen, resulted in disappointment.

I walked in at first I didn't think anyone was working because I saw no one.. and then I went into the store. She said nothing to me and hardly even looked at me. I went and looked at some shirts and wanted to try them on and then I was unable to find her again. At this point I'm the only person even in the store. I found her over the counter bend over it just looking into space. I figured if she couldn't at least look at me or talk to me or make me feel welcome I could do spend my hard earned money else where. When you expect people to spend 30+ dollars on a shirt you can at the very least make them feel welcome in this store. Beyond disappointed.

Finding good coffee in a new town is like playing Russian roulette. Ok, not really but kinda if…read moreyou're a coffee snob who doesn't like to waste their one cup a day on something mediocre. A quick search of cafes in Belleville Ontario brought up this place - a combination bicycle repair shop and cafe. Despite the split focus, the baristas know what they are doing and the coffee is on point. I had a cortado, which was strong but not bitter and the milk was just at the right temperature. The place uses coffee from Pilot Coffee Roasters, one of the better cafe collectives out there. Only strike was the price at $4.50. That's more than Toronto prices. But I paid. And it was good.
