Some years ago, after another injury during a drama rehearsal, I agreed to a consultation with a good friend who practiced chiropractic in Fort Collins, Colorado. Matt Kriewall not only identified and treated correctly the immediate problem, but he asked, "Did you want me to do something about this lower back problem, too?" I explained to him that other doctors had said it was just something I would have to live with. He asked if I was okay with them being wrong. Long story made short: my lower back got much better than I would have imagined possible. And then we moved to California. The fact is, I didn't trust chiropractors. I trusted Matt Kriewall. So, I let the back go until it was getting to be a serious problem again. And then I waited until we had insurance that would cover even "trying" Dr. Michael Maier in Fall River Mills. I wish I hadn't waited. I'm glad I stopped waiting. And the reason for explaining all this is that you'll now understand when I say: I think Dr. Maier is as good a chiropractor as Dr. Matt Kriewall is.
