I will say my wife wasn't sure if we needed video because she thinks wedding videos are cheesy but I told her Stephen would do a good job especially since he has formal education in film.... From the start Stephen Tang was extremely professional, I found him on Yelp and checked out his work on Instagram. We had the privilege of having Stephen photograph our entire wedding day! We could not be more happier with how the entire day was documented. What attracted me first from his profile was his lighting/editing style - not too much overly exposed or brighten or romanticized photos. We not only preferred a more realistic color in our photos, but knew that our venue may not accommodate that bright style due to it being mainly indoors. I can not express how much I appreciate Stephen's work for our wedding (but I'll give it a try). From the first time we met, I could tell he was exactly what I was looking for. My tango classmate once said that our instructor taught dance as if she were teaching math; the same could be said of Stephen's approach to photography. We must have exchanged a dozen emails on this topic. Stephen is an exceptional photographer. I love that his photographs aren't as washed out or overly bridal bright. I wanted photos that weren't just beautiful, but to have some richness and depth. Stephen photographed my wedding in California in July, and he is talented, meticulous, and very easy to work with.
