I was prescribed some custom orthotics worth over $900 which was fine but when I made a follow up appointment because my osteo was telling me the orthotics were unsuitable and throwing my hips out I was rudely kicked out of the practice and told I was unable to see anyone due to a payment processing error that was made by them. Even after this was rectified they did not follow up with me for 3 months by which stage I had stopped wearing the orthotics due to severe pain issues. The most disappointing part was I had them reviewed by two other podiatrists who blatantly told me that the design of these orthotics was unsuitable for my specific functionality and would most likely cause me more problems in the future. Very disappointing.

Glen was warm and friendly and didn't chastise me for having rough heels or give me a lecture about needing to wear orthotics. I've experienced this kind of approach from podiatrists in the past and it was refreshing to have an appointment with someone realistic about my lifestyle. Instead of trying to up sell orthotics, he gave me an explanation about the biomechanics of my feet and suggested I do some simple foot stretches to improve the structure of my feet. And, the best bit, all of the rough skin was removed painlessly from my feet and my toes can now be unleashed upon the world this summer!

I booked in an…read moreappointment to check my daughter's sore knee after she experienced pain during dancing lesson and several days of stiff looking leg. Booking was easy over the phone and we managed to get appointment for the same day The physio we booked into specialises with children and she has a lovely manner, friendly and very thorough. Our initial appointment was about 45 min and she went through different positions to ascertain the cause / extent of pain. I would come back if needed as I found the session to be value for money, thorough and insightful. Lucky for us, my daughter's pain was not serious and does not need ongoing treatment. When I left I was given a new client pack which include referral cards, which gives a friend $20 off their first session and $20 off my next session - so if you are thinking of going let me know, happy to give you the card.

Knox Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy in Wantirna South is the only Physiotherapy provider I trust…read more I have been going there for almost ten years now and the service and treatment provided has never once been less than impressive. They treat all ages with any sort of problem from injuries, to back problems, aging, whiplash, sciatica, muscle pain, ligament pain and more. They also offer personal training, myotherapy and exercise physiology. They run on appointments and will never leave you in the waiting room for more than five minutes. The place has a real family feel to it - the receptionists remember who you are and the various Physiotherapists and Masseurs are always happy and welcoming. Their resident Podiatrist Mina Williams is absolutely amazing at solving all manner of foot problems. His friendly personality makes you feel more like you've gone out for lunch than getting your foot treated. There is a small carpark out the front with around six spots and I have never had to resort to parking elsewhere - although if this did happen there is ample parking available on the street. They are open eight am to eight pm Monday through Thursday, nine am to eight pm Friday and nine am to one pm on Saturdays. Treatment involves a question and answer session whereby the Physiotherapist tries to ascertain the severity of your problem. They ask you to do some basic stretches and to stop when it hurts. Next they will get you to lie or sit on a massage table and will treat whatever injury you have through massage and other various techniques I'm nowhere near qualified enough to comment on. Before you leave they often give you stretches to do and will let you know if you need to return or not. I have been seeing Trish Edwards there for years and she is absolutely fantastic, but then again so is the rest of the staff there. It is a place I have absolute confidence in and highly recommend.

I have seen 4 of the 6 Doctors working at the practice over the years and they all have a great understanding of my personal and family history. The practice itself is modern and located on a main road with ample parking. There is also a kids area with a flat screen TV that plays separate cartoons for the kids to pass time in the waiting room.
