My wedding was at the Grand Island Mansion and I wanted a DJ and photo booth person who knew the space well. This review is long overdue, but we are coming up on our one year anniversary (October 2023) and I thought I'd share my experience! My husband and I were looking for a DJ for a 5 hour wedding ceremony. Our wedding was small--around 38 guests and I had a few sentimental songs I wanted played before the ceremony, after the ceremony and during dancing. I contacted a variety of vendors and most were out of our price range and when I mentioned wanting specific songs played during my wedding, one vendor advised me against it stating they would only accept a max of 4 songs as it is their job to control the crowd and feel of the wedding. Now I understand that part, but my husband and I are high school sweethearts and most of our guests are our high school friends so I was really hoping to throw in a few songs to bring us back to those nostalgic days when we first got together. When we contacted Sylvan, he was very welcoming to any songs we wanted requested and had no push back at all! Also he had Photobooth packages included in his service and this just made everything a lot easier because I didn't have to go through a separate vendor for that. We loved the "glamour" package and went with that and we absolutely love how they turned out! Since I am a graphic designer, I asked him if it would be okay if I got to custom design our Photobooth template and he was also very accommodating with that. When our wedding day came, I remember hearing my requested songs being played before I walked down the aisle and it just gave me a wave of emotions! Everything was paced perfectly and Sylvan did a great job as a MC flowing from one thing to the next. I've come across a few MCs who tend to be a little more humorous and expressive but my husband and I are both shy and don't like a whole lot of spotlight on us so we feel like Sylvan's MC style was professional and courteous and really matched our wedding style perfectly. I cannot recommend him enough! Our guests were happy and had a great time! Should we ever have another event, we will definitely hire him again! read more

Sylvan was one of the best wedding vendors we had the pleasure of working with. He was recommended to us as he DJ'ed my brother's wedding and later on his 30th birthday party. Sylvan is a professional DJ and Emcee. Very experienced and had the right equipment to pull off our wedding vision. We wrote a very detailed itinerary for him and he did not skip a beat. He announced key moments and details we wanted our guests to know and hyped them up at the right moments. We provided him with sample playlists that he most definitely used. He also had a self-running photo booth setup and was able to multitask. Our venue was a 5 hour drive away from Sacramento and his travel fee was more than reasonable. We had three separate locations that we needed music for: ceremony (on the other side of a walking bridge from a parking lot), reception (via ski gondola; separate cocktail hour and dining spaces) and the grand exit (closer to the gondolas). We really felt like he went above and beyond for us. His posts on social media about our wedding were incredibly flattering and it was exciting to see his POV of our big day. Having Stereo Fusion ENT dJ at our wedding was one of many great decisions we made when planning our super fun uniquely "us" wedding. Sylvan was very professional, friendly, flexible, and played all the right notes the entire night ! Can you believe, that at one point we weren't even considering having a dj ?! Me and my now husband (strange saying that) are music lovers of all sorts and figured it couldn't be so hard to create a cool playlist for the night. We weren't interested in any corny wedding games and on top of that, we were concerned about the limited space for set up and dancing . As it turned out he knew a few of our friends at our wedding . Cool. A couple of weeks before our wedding date , We communicated via email to establish the time line and requested music list . On the day of , he must have arrived at the venue early to set up because he was ready to go and cued the music on the dot. Following our lovely ceremony we transitioned into the cocktail hour and reception. Sylvan is really awesome at reading a crowd and going with the flow. He took a lot of song requests and was able to get a great sense of what our friends and family wanted to hear . During dinner, our guests had so much fun singing along to all the dope songs he kept playing. One of our friends said that he found it hard to eat , because he had to stop and sing like very 5 minutes ! So awesome . Sylvan is an all around dj genius. He's very natural, nothing felt forced or over produced. He's got incredible timing and is quick on his feet. Sylvan is just cool. He played the most fun songs to dance to and honored our music wish list down to the very last song, which fittingly was ice cube - it was a good day. Sterofusion was ideal for our wedding. We really appreciated the great communication. He played music on our playlist and other music that helped keep the party going. We had a crowd of nondancers, but the dance floor was still going and people were happy. We had a lot of fun pictures of people on the dancefloor from our photographer. It was a lot of fun! Our wedding was on 8/18/22 and we booked Sylvan maybe a year in advance. From the start he was always fast at replying if you have any questions , he got you! We got the wedding package, which included 5 or 6 hours of dj (I forgot lol) with him being the MC, also came with lightning and even a photo booth which we used as our guest book! Which was a hit!!! If you have certain songs you would like him to play let him know or right a list and he will make it right! We hired Sylvan as our DJ for our gender reveal party in Elk Grove a few moths ago. He worked with me weeks prior to the event and asked what types of songs to play during the celebration. I let him know that although we didn't need a lot of dancing type songs, more of continuous streaming of music from country to pop and some 80s music. Our party was also during a Niners game and since we were outside, a few of the guest were missing out on watching the game on tv. I booked Sylvan as my wedding DJ because I knew he was going to be able to bring the right kind of music for the crowd. 80s & 90s R&B and old school hip hop. He was on point and always checked in to make sure that the timeline was correct. He was also very flexible when we needed to speed things up or slow things down. We hired Sylvan for our June 2nd wedding in Chico and have nothing but good things to say about him and his service. To start, I contacted him through yelp and he replied to me quickly and answered all of my questions. Next was the meet and greet. He had a lot of availability and worked with us on a time and location. During the meet, he was very friendly and personable and knowledgeable (everything you want in a DJ). He broke everything down: time, pricing, equipment, and what is included. Unbeatable prices! We got the gold package that includes ceremony and reception, up lights, and added a monogram a photo booth (with a discount) with unlimited prints and a guest book. We got to choose a back drop, photo strip and monogram design! We shared our ideas with him and he made it happen! He was also great about last minute changes or questions. On the day of the wedding, I didn't know he was there until right before the ceremony, which is a good thing! That means he was able to arrive and set up without difficulties or needing me which left me with less stress and more time to get ready. That shows that he is a pro! I had 4 different songs for the ceremony and the timing was perfect. He helped keep the reception flowing and communicated with us throughout. I told him the genres we wanted (Hip hop, r&b, country, oldies, Spanish, etc) and asked that he played what he believed was appropriate at the time. The photo booth was a hit! He had an assistant and tons of props. He was able to get most of our guests dancing on the dance floor and had them wanting more after the music had to stop due to the venue's time ordinance. The next day we realized that we were missing a lot of photo strips that we took towards the end of the night. With all of the clean up commotion we had no idea who grabbed what. If there was an option to give more than 5 stars, Stereo Fushion would 100% deserve it no doubt. Being a senior Class representative, I was in charge of picking a DJ for our Senior Prom. Our past Dj's have always been so odd, and plain just not good. Sylvan on the other hand, was exactly what we wanted from a DJ.
