My mom was impressed and grateful that her toe, is not hurting her because doctor cut the nail and sanded it even as much as he could. So when she wears her shoe, the toe is not numbed anymore. I would recommend Dr Sommer. And I must say, everyone has experiences that can be bad or good. You may read reviews, show bad, cause thats what they experienced, while the ones who had good experiences will say, it was great. However, its like that everywhere. But truly. Give him a call, try it yourself. If you don't get the service as expected? I am sorry. You gaved it a try. If you did get that great service, please post away the experience you had. He's a (somewhat) knowledgable doctor but has a massively inflated ego. The first time I went he said that he doesn't want to treat ANYONE that goes to another doctor (including if you're travelling and need a doctor for a few months in another state/country). On the 2nd visit I had with him he said there was a "breakdown in communication" between us because I didn't want him as my primary care doctor and had medical attention from another doctor since the last visit (I dont know why his staff allowed a 2nd apt to happen if he was so against it). At that point the appointment was a waste, so I left. Got a letter in the mail less than a week later saying that he'd never treat me again because there was a "breakdown in communication". Really unneeded, condescending, and holier than thou attitude. If you don't want a patient to come into your office, don't let your staff book them, that simple. If you're looking for a knowledgable doctor that is the only doctor you go to, this is your guy. If you're like the rest of the world and theres a chance you'll visit another doctor, don't waste your time here because he will refuse to treat you and you'll get a rude letter in the mail that you hurt his feelings for visiting other doctors too.

I was a patient of Dr. Ray for several years. I have toenail fungus and he tried to help (with no…read moreluck) with different methods (drugs, toenail removal, nail bed scraping). I know fungus can be hard to get rid of so I wasn't upset with him for that but... I had an ingrown toenail and went to see him. He decided that the best course of action was to cut 1/4 of my nail off and cauterize. This has resulted in an open side to my nail that is not only unattractive but the fungus was able to go further down my toenail... ok, no big deal at my age and with my fungus. My daughter who 20ish with beautiful feet and nails went to see him because she got an infection at a nail salon when on vacation. I told her don't let him cut her nail off. She was there an hour and I was starting to get concerned so I called her. She said that he was going to cut her nail and cauterize... I told her to leave. She said she already allowed him to numb her toe... I told her "GET OUT!" She left with a numb toe. She put Neosporin on her toenail for three days and the infection was cleared up.

Upon arriving, Miranda at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. During my visit with Jessica she is super thorough and addressed all my concerns. I didn't feel rush which is unusual because at other places you only visit with the Doctor/Nurse Practitioner for maybe 2 minutes and then they are rushing out the door; definitely not Jessica. She took the time to talk to me about everything and I felt like she actually listened to me and wanted to help. She worked with me with my prescriptions; one was pricey so we switched to another prescription to help with the cost. She actually dropped off coupons for the new prescription the next day for me to my house (with my approval)!!! I was very appreciative that I didn't have to make the 25 minute trip back up to her place for the coupons! I look forward to having her as my new primary Nurse Practitioner, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

The Drs seem to be great diagnosticians and will give you more answers and treatments than any area ER (in our experience) Sometimes there was a bit of a wait (like when we got her back xray) but I expect that being a small location. Im just super glad they offer that service there at all as opposed to going to the ER. Weve seen 3 different doctors there and they were all women who listened when my daughter advocated for herself/I advocated/explained for her and even gave some tips on a possible underlying issue to look into with her PCP. everyone is friendly and I can tell they genuinely enjoy working there. My daughter is especially more comfortable there because they seem to have mostly (if not all) female providers. You can always follow up on your care with a phone call to ask questions or gain clarification vs. making another appointment! Highly recommend!

I called multiple times as advised by my insurance company for their incorrect status coding and she refused to help me or connect me with anyone that could. All their other billing customer service representatives speak with a thick accent and are not trained properly. Unless you want dishonest, extra charges do not go here.
