Created by a local artist for the downtown area this is a fun designed park bench that doubles as a place to sit and a fun piece of public art work. Overall always fun to see and experience local treasures in the city. There is a placard on the ground that has the artist name as well. So it's great to give these artists there shout outs too for making our city more appealing artistically.

Tucked right around the corner from the hospital registration area the small enclosed sculpture is a nice piece for the hospital and has a hopeful and appropriate name of healers touch. Overall it's always nice discovering new public art and finding them. This was a nice surprise while visiting a family member at a hospital.

Gallopalooza horses are a Louisville Kentucky tradition that has over 200 uniquely designed and…read moredecorated race horses painted throughout different parts of the city. Originally purchased for charity these horses are mainly found in front of businesses. This one is located on front of a medical office in the okolona neighborhood of Lousiville Kentucky. Thai horse retires a light baby blue color with balloons and smiley faces probably to coincide with what is a pediatric office inside the medical building it sits in front of. Very well done and well maintained. Overall it is always fun to discover these horses. I've made it a goal recently to really take notice of them and check them out up close and personal.

This beautiful park is located in the historical portion of Jeffersonville, IN…read more It's on the Main Street of Court and was brought founded in 1887. Now you will step into a piece of history all around you while you're here. This was a Civil War era site that was used for hard tack for soldiers. They have trees in this park with blood stained stress of the past. They have a monument of democracy that is on display that highlights the accounts and accomplishments of the founding of what it means to be "free." How many centuries of strife and struggle that we endured and still have today. Be proud of your ancestors and what they accomplished and remember the past. Walk in the park and enjoy the parades and celebrations that the city puts on. This is a little beautiful slice of history and heaven here. Walk out and see what was and has been preserved for you.

The park has plenty of nice area to sit and relax and they have a couple cool sculptures that you can learn about us history. Including the visually impressive Thomas Jefferson statue. Overall cool and nice park that is a good place to just hang out and enjoy a day and take in some sights.

Middletown frost gas station is a very small and historic marker spot just off of old Main Street…read morein the Middletown portion of Lousiville Kentucky. Middletown and Shelbyville road is a hot spot for entertainment and places to eat. Always full of traffic and action. However if you go back one street to Main Street it's more of a Historic old town vibe and while driving Main Street you will find this little gem. The gas station is a one pump station that's the size of medium sized luxury bathroom. Very cool and fun find.
