I had an existing policy with State Farm when I moved here to Paso Robles, and didn't think much of my representative or their office. I decided to switch to a local office and it has made a hige difference. The whole team here is very professional and not only are very familiar with the policies and processes, but a delight to work with. Steve and members of the team take the time to answer any questions, and explain the insurance jargon, and give examples. They go out of their way to schedule any meeting when it is convenient to me. I had called to enquire about an additional rider to my policy and Steve thoroughly explained each area of the coverage offering various options and indicating how the plan worked in conjunction with my main home insurance policy. The cost was much better than I had anticipated, and I was able to enroll and pay for the plan over the phone. Let me first say the people who work at Steve Weber's office are really sweet and good people. Just find it hard to understand how State farm says they take care of their neighbors. Now they did take care of me when I got into an accident That was 100% NOT my fault last year. But I only got a few thousand dollars for the car that had been insured with them for almost 20 years. And clearly $3,000 barely got a down payment for a used car. And now because of our Governor, the rates have gone up about $300. Regardless of the fact, I've got a perfect driving record. They say they give me a discount for vehicle safety, driving safely, California good driver and loyalty. They say the discount is $1, 503.39? So for somebody that has had their license since she was 16 years old and has a perfect driving record. They charge $ $990.56 for 6 months??? So again somebody with 30 plus years with a perfect driving record is actually being charged $2,500 for insurance for 6 months? It makes no sense. Especially when Allstate just quoted me for $500 less for the exact same coverage and actually a $40 rental car instead of 25 and I haven't been A customer of theirs ever. I'm just a bit confused and feeling sad about this situation. Cuz like I said these people are very nice. But I think they work for a company that's not so nice read more

I called Kelly Woolworth at my local office with my story. We recently became the victim of identity fraud and the company that we called to clear up our credit asked for a copy of our 2016 home insurance policy to prove that we lived in our house we sold in July of 2017. Your agent is there to provide you the best coverage for a reasonable price and many do that. I feel their real worth is when there is a claim and how that is handled. I had a very odd claim (first one in 30 years) that resulted in damage to my vehicle. State Farm was skeptical do to a misunderstanding of a repair and the nature of the claim thus initially declined the claim. I emailed Steve and then provided additional documents. He called claims to discuss and submitted the documents. the The claim was reopenedand as of yesterday has been approved for payment. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and how quickly Steve responded to the issue. read more
