We were left with horrible problems we had to fix because after many times we were told NO by their mistakes. They screwed up cabinets- particle board. Not even real, left stickers for months, writing everywhere. They did not fix the problems we had after completion. Plumbing overflows. Windows uneven. Floors coming up. They said "no not our problem anymore" absolutely ridiculous business. Chandelier they swore they'd fix and then David said fuck you because they messed up and were stuck. After I have MANY emails showing they'd fix THEIR fault of installing. The owner, David, attacked my husband because of his political views. He wrote things in our porta potty like a child about politics. He cussed my husband AND ME out many times. His family clearly knows he's a mess and tried hard but they were stuck between him and us as a client who provides them a living. David said incredibly harsh things to us and I have all emails. I bought all the materials and he did all the labor, usually with one helper each day, taking about 3 almost full work days and charging only $500. Nicely done and will post photo of fireplace and hearth/bench. Final job of completely remodeling master bath was completed yesterday. Again I selected and bought all the materials, and paid $3000 for labor.....at least a $3000 saving under other bidder. This job took 9 work days for 2-3 workers everyday but they removed all tlle, gutted the shower, removed appliances including vanity, and retiled from scratch and did a beaurtiful job with some bonus touches such as framing the mirror and installing plastic baseboards. Quality of tile work was much superior to prior surfaces, however the master tile guy spoke minimal english and sometimes made decisions on his own without asking...also rigid about what materials he used. However Carlos acted as buffer and we ended up with a fine product...and Carlos was proud of the results.

We read through their reviews and looked them up on Better Business Bureau and decided to call them. We contacted them online and Hiago called us back in a timely manner. His listened to our needs and set up an appointment to come out to look at the work to be performed. He took photos and measurements, explained the work that the company could provide. A few days later we had a quote for the work along with photos of samples of the colored concrete blocks that we could choose from. We agreed to the quote. This was not inexpensive. I say that the cost was comparable to a pretty good used car. Hiago ordered the concrete blocks required, we had to go to the county courthouse to pick up the work permit. 1/2 the payment was payable in advance when we signed the work contract and the rest of the payment was due at the conclusion of construction. We payed with Cashiers Checks. The work took place over two days, where they tore out the original wood retaining wall and began setting the concrete blocks. The Foreman was on site throughout the construction and we were able to go out every so often to see their progress. The workers were professional and definitely appeared to know what they were doing. They finished the wall and hauled away the old wooden structure. The workers was performed in April 2025 and I wanted to wait to write this review to make sure that this wall was solid. I'm writing this in February 2026 and the wall looks great and we have not had any issues. The concrete blocks that we chose blend in nicely with the landscape and every time we drive by the back of our home, we are proud of our purchase. Spending this kind of money, we really want to be proud of it for a long long time and I think we will be. One of the best parts of this experience with American Pavers was the thorough and timely communication by Hiago. He was attentive and always friendly and warm. I would hope that all interactions with contractors would be so pleasant and enjoyable. Thank you Hiago and thank you American Pavers. This is definitely a company that we recommend you to consider when you have a project that needs to be done.

Mr. Hines built a room on our house for my 89 year old Dad to live in, so he could be close to me…read more It took them six (6) months to build 500 sq ft and we lived right down the road from his business he runs out of his house. I had to find most of the items for the room, Mr. Hines assistant doesn't know how to order supplies! This was in Oct of 2017. Recently we are having problems with the flooring they installed (it is separating). Shower knob has a problem with keeping the water hot. Defective knob. Called everyday for a week and they finally returned my Dad's call and told us the company is too busy to do any warranty work. Mr. Hines assistant said he would put this on their calendar to one to two months, then they might be able to repair these items. Mr. Hines builds rooms for a reasonable price but follow-up is NOT customer friendly.
