I explained what I needed and within an hour, I was able to log into his client site and upload the document he requested, a TurboTax file. He reviewed the document and got right back to me. He pointed out things I had missed and explained how I could file a 1040-X with the IRS. I was prepared to pay his normal fee for providing this service, which was fair, but he made an allowance for me because of the simplicity of my issues and charged me far less. It is rare for a business to do this. It's nice, and rare, to deal with someone so understanding, competent, and fair. I don't give gratuitous compliments. Michael earned every laudatory comment!

It made me wonder what kind of tax and business management operation this is if everything seems to depend on one tax person being available.
