I've wanted to get a breast augmentation for most of my adult life, even more so after having two kids. I found Dr. Camp and his amazing staff, and after reading his reviews, I booked a consultation in December. The office is so nice and looks like it's out of a magazine. I wasn't really sure what to expect going into the consultation - only that I wanted to have the Rapid Recovery augmentation. They were very sweet with my 4 year old son (who can be a little overwhelming at times). The nurse came in to talk about medical history, what I'd like done, and what to expect from my appointment as well as going over their folder. She handed me a robe and let me know that Dr. Camp would be in soon. In less than five minutes he and his nurse were in and gave me a run down on himself, his practice, the procedure I was looking at, and how the 3-D imaging would work. We moved to the area set up for the before pictures and measurements. I am someone who is extremely shy about nudity around others - including doctors. This was very hard for me because my breasts have been something that I've have been incredibly uncomfortable with - even around my husband. While taking measurements, he let me know that I was not a candidate for the rapid recovery procedure, because I needed a breast lift. (Ultimately I knew this, I just didn't want to believe it) Immidiately, I started crying from finally being closer to getting my biggest insecurity fixed (8+ years in the making) and only to find out that it would take more than what I was expecting. He immidiately stopped what he was doing to comfort me. Once I calmed down, we finished the measurements and pictures and moved onto the 3-D scan. I wasn't uncovered longer than I needed to be. I was extremely embarrassed because of my chest and even more because of my crying. Dr. Camp made sure that I was comfortable continuing with the appointment and informed me that I could come back in when I was ready - but I put on my big girl panties and continued. With the 3-D imaging, he was able to show me the size I was looking for, without a lift and with a lift. All of the technical terms were discussed and to be honest, I didn't remember most of it. He let me know that I was more than welcome to come back (at no cost) if I needed more information after processing that appointment. After he was finished with his portion, we moved to the scheduler's office to discuss cost and availabilities. On my way home from the consultation, I called my husband and just bawled because it was devastating to hear that what I wanted was not an option for me. My husband told me numerous times to find another doctor, but I told him that I didn't want to. I wanted to stick with Dr. Camp because he, his office, and staff were extremely nice and caring. When my husband asked for details, I couldn't give him any other than the basics I wrote down. (My memory is not good after having children.) He suggested that I make another appointment for us so he could compare the information I had with Dr. Camp's information. So I called and got another appointment the following week! My husband was just as awed as I was over the office and staff. Dr. Camp reiterated everything he told me, and in a way that my husband got all of his (and my) questions answered. The appointment ran so far over because of my "oh! And...." moments and Dr. Camp's thorough explanations - which he said was one of his favorite parts of his job. Our appointment was so long that two different nurses came in to give him a heads up on his time - one of them being his wife (haha!). After the second consultation, I was only called once by the scheduler to inform me of when the EOY promotion would be ending, to which I let her know that without a doubt I was going to schedule, I just needed to obtain the down payment first. I called her back at the beginning of January to schedule. I'm (anxiously) awaiting my surgery date on March 5! You can really tell Dr. Camp cares about his patients and the quality of his work! He gave me hope that I would love myself again. I thought having a mommy makeover was only a dream that would never come true. Not only did he perform the surgery, he strategically did it with compassion. From the beginning I was not only scared of the unknown but completely embarrassed of the way I looked. I had received news in March that I had a breast implant rupture and immediately began scouring the internet for a prominent and trustworthy surgeon. I had grown rather fond of having implants and was slightly disappointed to have them removed, but I didn't want future troubles by having more put in. I figured it was time to say goodbye to the implants and get a mastoplexy. I'm several weeks post-op, I could not sing higher praises for Dr Camp and his team! He is a gifted surgeon and has truly found his calling!! The lift I received was beyond my expectations and I have zero regrets having it done. I'm still in the healing process as the scars begin to fade, but aesthetically they look and feel amazing! I went to 6 different doctors for a consultation, I was nervous to say the least as it was my first major surgery, and quickly chose Dr. Camp bcs he seemed to understand the most out of all of them exactly what I wanted. I'm about 2 week post-op now; I got a BA done and I would say I had a pretty abnormal case bcs I chose one of the smaller cc sizes an implant could be, I'm quite petite and I was very nervous that I would come out with breasts that were overdone and obviously fake. A few doctors tried to push me to go bigger, which was an instant red flag for me. Dr. Camp understood my needs and achieved the type of look I want. Also he had state of the art machines and technology to help him figure out the best size for you and captures a virtual before and after shot which I thought was really cool and advanced. His staff is relatively small, but that was also why I enjoyed them as they seem to connect better with their patients on a personal level. some surgeon offices that I went to felt so expansive and large, that it made me feel like I was just another number to go thru. I had a TT in December 2019 and it was the BEST decision! For reference, I am 35 with 2 children. Before the procedure I was 135 pounds, size 4. My height is 5'3. I had debated over a TT for 8 years!! I had 3 different consults before I chose Dr. Camp! My results are not only good their crazy! My own mother asked if I did something additional, beyond a TT, because it changed everything. My butt has more shape, my breast look better, and of course my stomach is flat and tight. It's simple, Dr. Camp is better than who ever you are considering. The recovery was easier than what people say. I'd recommend 3 weeks off work, but I went back after 2. After a life of being very healthy, but not seeing the results I hoped I looked into plastic surgery. We researched and found Dr Camp in Fort Worth, Tx. From the second I walked into the office I felt comfortable, I was nervous about how everyone would make me feel. Everyone, from the front desk receptionist to Dr Camp were amazing. My latest addiction is to Botox! I have had Botox injections before, several years ago, and with great results however I've finally decided to get them on a regular basis starting a couple of weeks ago. I'm so pumped. I absolutely love the way the injections smooth the lines in my forehead and between my eyes. I usually get anywhere from 20 to 30 units depending on how many areas I need work on. The results took several days to manifest (for me, everyone's results vary and differ) . I've never experienced discomfort from the injections and I am whole heartedly NEEDLEPHOBIC. Dr. Camp is my Super Hero, he has changed my life. And his staffs are absolutely amazing and truly makes you feel like family. After having my breast done by another doctor, I had a lot of damage issues and was experiencing a lot of pain. So I decided to get them redone by Dr. Camp. He was determined to fix all the damage the last doctor left behind and was so patient. He explained everything that happen after removing my implants and what he was going to do to fix everything. And let's just say it was a 6 weeks journey because I had to have two different surgery 6 weeks apart with Dr.Camp for my breast to get everything right again. Dr. Camp just performed a breast augmentation for me at the end of June. I could not have asked for a better experience! During my consulation back in March, I felt like Dr. Camp really paid attention to what I wanted my outcome to look like, and he made me feel really comfortable during the whole process. A couple of the other consultations I went to, I felt rushed to make sure they saw all of their patients/consultations for the day whereas with Camp I was there for approx 1.5 hours and he never once looked at the clock on the wall. Despite a substantial lift procedure by another surgeon 3 years ago, my 1st implants had lost their original fullness and begun to drop. Dr. Camp not only corrected these issues wonderfully but took it upon himself to perform major scar revision left over from the 1st procedure.
