Well, where do I begin? To start, as a Physician I have very high standards and an appreciation for professionalism and consistent communication. I am always available to my patients to help them with any minute questions that they have, to help ease and alleviate their discomforts. I had written about clear communication and support multiple times in my monthly Column "Ask Dr. Ron" for Family Circle Magazine for many years. A year ago, we made the decision to relocate across the country from California to Florida. We made several trips to visit and explore the surrounding areas near Disneyworld which we always enjoy. After an extensive search we selected Winter Garden as it was very central and within minutes to everything we wanted to access. Our initial problem was that we did not know anyone in Orlando and we were very anxious to find a reliable honest realtor who can assist us cross country. During our very first meeting with Steven he put us in ease. Steven addressed our concerns and described to us all the ways he was going to help us before we even asked any questions. Steven is an experienced realtor and he knew all the pit falls we were concerned about. We knew immediately on day one that he was going to be able to guide us through this massive real estate endeavor. He developed a working relationship with the builder and followed up with the builder on a weekly basis to help ensure we will get our dream lot. When the lot was finally released, Steve helped us create a winning strategy to secure the particular lot that we wanted, and have our offer accepted! Steven also guided us through our financing options, and helped us review all of the closing disclosures and final closing documents on the day of closing, he was literally there holding our hand every step of the way alleviating our anxieties. After we purchased the home Steve could have simply walked away, however that is not Steve's character. For five months Steve went to the lot and watched the construction and shared with us bi-weekly photos, videos and live virtual tours; we were all the way across the country but Steve made us feel that we were right there in Florida watching the house being built. To help alleviate any anxieties Steve coordinated all of our 3rd party inspections as well. He was there at every builder meeting, even when we couldn't be, and spent all of the extra necessary time needed to ensure that the builder addressed any of our concerns. Could we have done all of this from California without his professional guidance, maybe with many more expensive and time consuming cross country trips. However, we were fortunate to have Steven in our corner to proactively coordinate all of the simultaneous moving stages in order to successfully get us to closing. Steve gave us an immeasurable piece of mind. By the way, we were lucky to also meet Steve's wife Rachel, who is also a realtor and we valued her perspective and advice. Our move to Orlando has three happy ending; we bought our dream home; we are close to Disneyworld and we made two great friends Steven and Rachel. We've purchased and sold a home with Steven and both experiences were fantastic. We really felt like we were his only client. Steven is so quick to respond and is often two steps ahead and knows what we're thinking. We've been burned through negative real estate transactions in the past so we ask a LOT of questions but Steven answers every one with patience and confidence. When we purchased our home with Steven, he showed us homes that he found and ones that we picked out. We put an offer in on one home and we couldn't get to an agreement. Steven represented our interests perfectly in that scenario. Later when we found the right fit, he worked with our lender and together sold the sellers on our offer. It was a multiple offer scenario and because of Steven, they accepted our offer. When we decided to sell our home, it was during the height of the COVID-19 lockdown. We didn't know if people were even buying homes during that time. After an initial email exploring the possibility of selling, when we made the decision, Steven was ready to roll. He told us we were in a good spot he wanted to get on the market quickly because he felt we could sell quickly. Boy was he right. Within a week of our call, we were on the market with professional photos (which looked amazing) and within one hour of the listing going live, we had our first showing scheduled. That was the first of around 10 in the first three days that the home was listed. Five days after listing, we accepted an offer...one of multiple offers. That's not where the story ends, however. Things were moving along swimmingly until about 18 hours before closing. There was a snag. The details are not relevant but Steven handled it perfectly, applying the right amount of pressure to the situation. We closed four days after our scheduled closing. We trusted Steven completely to represent us and if the deal fell through, we know he would have worked just as hard again to get another offer and get the deal closed. Steven has gone above and beyond the scope of a typical real estate agent for us over the years and I can't say enough about his professionalism, work ethic, and how he treats people. Steven helped me buy my first house, and I can't recommend him enough. He was the second realtor I worked with, after working for a few months with a realtor who I felt was pressuring me to buy rather than looking out for my interests. In late fall of last year, my wife and I were interviewing multiple potential realtors as we began the search for our first home. When we met with Steven, he stood out because of his history with our prospective lender, but moreover because he sat with us and put together an MLS search based on the criteria of prospective homes we were considering. As first time home buyers, we didn't really know what we needed to do, what to look for, and we felt incredibly overwhelmed by all of the options in the market. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Steven! We were moving from a different state and already working in Florida. The market was crazy so you had to move fast and hope your offer was accepted. Steven was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process, from our first conversation to purchasing my home.
