My daughters sports photos were overpriced, and they didn't bother to crop out random people walking around in the background.

The photographer is old and definitely does not know how to work with students. She was impolite and frankly disrespectful to the students, considering this is their senior photos you would think they were nicer. She is passive aggressive and has the worst attitude I have seen in a service worker. The photos themselves look uncanny and the poses chosen make the people getting photographed look weird, stiff, and uncomfortable. I would not book this studio and explore other options. The staff are rude photos are not something I would pay more than 20$ for. Book somewhere else. read more

I have come to this location 4 times now and they have been so stellar with their customer service. I forget her name but the woman photography is the sweetest woman I have ever met. When they suggest using props for my sons senior pictures, it took me forever to choose what to bring. She had such an amazing time taking my sons picture with the props, which in turn made me and my son have an awesome experience. Hoping the HS, uses them again for my youngest sons graduation pictures. read more

Honestly out of all of the photography services we've been to, this is the worst. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice- however the lady at the other desk with the computer and tablet... She's a whole different story. Treated us very rudely and gave us attitude. Until we started adding more onto our package, then she started being nice. It was almost as if she assumed we were going to spend as little as possible. Very rude and disrespectful, if you ask me. Don't come here. The lady on the computer at the desk is so rude! They don't take your time into consideration and we had to wait for 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time! Only used this place because our school has a contract with them, and honestly it would be better to just get the free session. They tell you what to wear and don't ask if you have any poses you want to do. Edit: what to wear such as "dark colors, no patterns" and yes but as to communicating with me if there were any poses I would like, it's just a question to have customers put some input into the photos. The owner and my photographer was very nice, but the lady @ the front desk is off putting especially with some of her comments. the last chance to take senior photos eight students were sent to take their pictures and only one actually took them because they were accused of harassment when they were joking amongst each other and the student who said they were uncomfortable was talking about the photographer making them uncomfortable and being rude to them when they asked to do a different pose this is without mentioning the students who came forward in class saying they felt extremely uncomfortable by the photographer being not only rude but putting them down saying things like "that makes you look fat" " no you shouldn't smile" i do not that is an appropriate way to speak to minors and this not only has students who took pictures at the school saying the photographer was rude and condescending but people who went to the studio coming forward to say their awful experiences out of the around 30 students in the class no one has a positive experience with taking pictures read more

The office staff were nice and professional and the photographer suggested an outdoor session which turned out to be a great idea. They have so much props and a nice area out back. He had a great personality that got my son to smile and cooperate well, even though he hates taking pictures. I can't wait to see the proofs! read more

Brought my son for his senior pictures and I am so glad that is done so I will never have to deal with this company again. The photographer lady (christy I believe) was extremely rude! At one point during the photos she told my son to "look at that funny looking guy" talking about my husband, then changed her mind and said "you see enough of him, look at me". She wasn't joking or trying to be funny, she was trying to be rude and obnoxious which was clear by how she spoke to all of us. I can't believe with so many other companies out there trying to stay open, Steven studios would employee someone who would chase customers away. We just had our daughters senior pictures taken and we had a great sitting ! The photographer had a way about him that set my nervous daughter at ease. We were somewhat concerned because she wanted her cat in a few photos with her. The staff was awesome with the cat and really patient. I did portfolio photography for 7 years and I am really happy with the photographs eye for details. I would highly suggest Stevens Studios! read more

This place is a joke. Horrible custom service rude management. My little brother had his senior pics done by them at his school. Mediocre work and outrageous prices. Also, they won't give you a digital image or the rights to YOUR photo! They start throwing around words like "lawsuit " and "copyright laws"! You should always be given the option to purchase a digital image. Charge more if you must, but make it an option! Also, when you let them take your child's picture for school your are giving them the rights to use it how ever they want!! read more

This place is horrible. When I called to ask some simple questions about my pictures the person on the phone was extremely rude. They did however give me the information I needed but the tone in which that information was given was very rude. I am not excited to take my pictures here at all ! I used Steven Studios for Senior photos, and was very unimpressed. The lack of professionalism from the office staff was not only embarrassing but down right insulting. I am the legal guardian of a high school senior, and we were told we had to use Steven Studios if we wanted to have our seniors photo in the yearbook. When I called to schedule an appointment with the office, I was not only put on hold for 12 minutes but pestered about my relation to the Senior getting photos take. When I went into the office the woman helping me asked 3 times if I was the "students" mother, She then looked at me and asked " So how does this work?" I had to inform her that I was his legal guardian I was very insulted. However I was very pleased with the photographer she was very nice and my student loved her. I got the senior photo but refused to purchase any packages from this company, and I would never use them again. I hope the school district chooses a more pleasant and professional company to use next year. read more

The manager here was very very rude. I did not like any of my photos and I sent in a complaint over the website and I got a call from the manager. The photographer was nice but the manager was absolutely horrible. She told me that my clothes were unflattering and that maybe I always had a double chin, suggesting that I was fat when I'm not. She had a very rude tone and didn't seem to care that I was dissatisfied about my photos. After insulting me, she offered me a free session but I didn't even want to go back because of how badly I was treated. My step mom called the studio to ask them not to send in the photo to my school and she had to go to the studio. As soon as she got there, she had to wait 10 to 15 minutes just to get the papers set up for her to sign. The manager was purposely making my step mom wait and eventually the owner of the establishment came out and helped her. The manager accused my step mom of not being my legal parent and was rude to her the whole time she was there. I don't recommend this place at all for pictures. Because of this incident I won't have a photo in the yearbook and it's all because the manager couldn't do her job and be nice. I don't recommend this establishment to anyone. Avoid at all costs unless you like negative confrontation and problems. read more

It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I am still baffled at how condescending and rude the woman was over the phone. It is very rare, even in today's world to come across a business that will allow their customers to be treated this poorly. In the future, I do hope that they learn to treat people with compassion and respect, as without the customers, the business would cease to exist. They gave me a time limit of 6 weeks when my pics would be ready. I had been calling them since mid July about them. I placed the order in June and they still weren't ready. Called them August, September only to be told at the end of September that the lab didn't have them. So they had to resend them back to the lab. Long story short I finally got them in October ! It's unfortunate that we are forced to use this place for our students pictures. I'm sure the only way they stay in business is by having the school contracts. BCSD and KHSD has done us a serious injustice by contracting with this company. Christy is rude and condescending every single time I've had to deal with her whether is was just picking up photos or when I have an issue. The nice and competent one there is a young woman who wore a Hollywood Vampire t-shirt the last time I was there. Kudos to her and I hope she finds better employment elsewhere. As far as the photography, it's mediocre at best. Very staged, no personality allowed. VERY expensive and the options for the sports packages are ridiculous as you have to buy a minimum of a $35.00 package just to get some add-ons. We used Fahey for my oldest daughter's senior pictures in 2011 and he was so awesome. Then we had the misfortune of being forced to go to Stevens for the yearbook photos. Keep getting those contracts Stevens because otherwise you'll be out of business. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I went into the Studio to order my daughters school pictures. I walked into the studio I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes. A lady walked by and a phone rang then there was another lady just sitting there. She didn't say anything to me. So when someone finally helped me we stood there ordering pictures to be sure we order what I wanted. So this week I got my daughters pictures and the $35 CD with the one pose that I did not want. So I called the studio and the "manager" was telling me it was my fault for not making sure that they wrote down the right pose number and that I will not get a replacement of the "fancy CD". And that if I wanted to get the one I wanted I had to order a new one and pay $35 more. I then asked to speak to the manager or have a manager call me back and with a very rude tone she said I will be calling you back! She then call me back to tell me that they will replace it but they will no longer help customers to fill out their order forms. I will never go back to this place or do any other business with them!
