I (bride) booked Melissa and Elsa to do my, my grandma's, mom's, and my sister's (maid of honor) hair and make up (airbrush) on 5/5/2023. We were so happy with the make up and hair. Melissa was able to give me the simple, clean look I was going for and the airbrush lasted all day since we had it done that morning for our evening wedding. Melissa was also able to do a more intricate make up for my sis. She was very flexible and able to give my grandma a flawless look Likewise, Elsa was able to do 2 updos, waves for me, and my grandma's hair. My hair made it through a choreographed first dance that involved multiple spins and dips I am so glad we did a trial run for both make up and hair. It helped relieve stress and narrow down how I wanted my make up and hair. The beautiful life team also did an amazing job of collecting our inspiration looks and booking us with a team with more experience in the looks we all wanted. The only hiccup was a mistake on the schedule sent out a few days before the wedding. I seemed to have received another wedding group's schedule along with mine. In addition, my schedule had a different hair and make up team listed. I freaked out thinking we were not getting airbrush as we planned since Melissa was the only one that did airbrush at the time. She is very responsive when I first contacted her to book her services, and she was happy to answer any questions I had. She was also easy to reach via text or email (which makes it that much easier to plan a wedding!!) I ended up booking Allie & her team to do hair/make-up for 8 girls for my wedding. I originally only booked for 6 girls, but added 2 more girls literally like 2 days before the wedding, lol. And Allie was awesome enough to accommodate for it!! My sister booked The Beautiful Life for us bridesmaids (and herself as the bride, of course) and was blown away with how amazing the final looks were - all five ladies of the wedding party are of different complexions, have different eye shapes and personal preferences with their makeup/hair looks and the team made sure everyone looked amazing and were comfortable with the final looks until the end of the reception (around 14 hours after the looks were completed). Tools were clean, team was so professional with adjusting for personal preferences, and the products were all top notch. I always believe that you could tell a lot about the makeup& hair teams by how clean their work areas are - and from what I could tell from the day of they are organized, cleanly, and tools and expertise were well worth what we spent! I was also lucky enough to accompany my sister (the bride) on the trial day as well for her hair and makeup and I was blown away at how much care they took into ensuring my sister was comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful. Not only were they open to feedback, but they encourage it. When my sister asked questions regarding the longevity of the makeup, among other things Allie and the team didn't just answer promptly - they also made so many suggestions and recommendations.
