Discovered recently that they used "inside wood" not outside wood for railings on porch. They just used 4x2 and did even try to replicate the original railing. I had a very experienced carpenter fix ALL my railings (and replicate) for over 1K less.

Very happy with the subs they picked and their on site guys were very courteous and conscientous. Sometimes they would suggest things I hadn't thought of that would make it look better. I paid him over $2,000 as a down payment to even out a bedroom floor in my older home. He started a job at my home and had to stop work when my town's building inspector said it did not meet code or even standard practice. As a result, I am left with $10,000 or more of damage to be repaired. It would have been honorable for him to work the remaining hours for which I paid him but he did not. For example, there was interior carpentry work and painting and I invited him to stay on but never saw or heard from him again.

He did not respond to that message to which I thought nothing of it since it really didn't need a response. I messaged him a few days later which would have been almost a week since he was at the property and a few days past when he said the quotes would be ready. He again did not answer. I guess he didn't want the work or he didn't think it was something he could do. Not sure why he couldn't have just sent me a note back saying he would be unable to quote the job instead he chose to ignore me. He is active in the local Facebook groups soliciting for customers so I can't seem to understand why he would not answer or quote me.
