What a LIFESAVER to find this amazing auto body shop! I was traveling to Yosemite (from south OC)…read morewhen I slipped on some black ice and hit a K-Rail. The car ended up un-drivable and the closest place I could tow it to was Don Valenzula's. They were an absolute joy to work with! Every time I called, they were so kind and informative. They kept me posted on timing and all the details for the repair, were incredibly communicative and helpful working with my insurance, and did phenomenal work. The car was basically brand new when I picked it up! I just wish I lived closer to use them for all my car needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and if you live close by, consider using Don Valenzuela's for all your car needs! They took us on a tour of their facility - friendly workers, high-end equipment and paint areas, and knowing this is a family run business with both Don Sr and Don Jr was incredible. Thank you Don and the whole team!! (Also, we use the coffee cups regularly and enjoyed the biscotti on the 6 hour drive home.)

Actually I can't think of any of the people i've dealt with in my life that I could rate higher than Dan and his crew. The shop is there as a service to people and to the community, body and paint work are secondary, but accomplished in a very professional manner and with great results. I had a repair shop for 39 years. I tried to run my business the same way Don is doing, service first followed by good work. Even though I followed the same principals, Don Valenzuela's Autobody wins. I feel that his shop applies the principles in a stronger, more professional way.

My vehicle was hit on the passenger side door and damaged the entire passenger side of the car…read more Brought it for insurance repairs and after over 3 weeks of my car being there I was informed it would be done at the end of the day right before they close... The "replaced doors" have major imperfections and the paint work is extremely poor. On top of it all, I received the car back in the dirtiest, dustiest possible conditions to the point where I needed to have it professionally detailed. Choose somewhere that the quality of work meets the pricing. Would absolutely NOT recommend.

We had vandalism to our 1999 Chevy Silverado from an attempted theft that left it non-operational…read more I called around to at least 10 places (including those recommended by our insurance) and no one would take it or even try to look for parts because they said they wouldn't be able to get the parts (since it was so old apparently). They wouldn't even try as soon as the heard the age of the truck. One other place looked for parts but said they couldn't find any. Enter Clovis Collision/Clovis Auto Body! They looked for parts and FOUND them and agreed to do the repairs. They did the repairs quickly and kept us updated via text and phone. There was one hiccup where we had to bring it back for a fix but they took care of it the same day. They also worked well with our insurance. We are very grateful for Clovis Collision/Auto Body and their willingness and ability to fix my husband's favorite vehicle. :-) We highly recommend them.

She sent a email containing estimates and notes stating to the insurance these exact issues she deemed were not related to the accident for example the abs and traction light had illuminated after being rear ended. when I called and inquired she denied everything regardless of emailed documentation when I told them I will pick up my vehicle it was returned with more my miles on it then when it was first dropped off It had 154,620 upon pick up it had 154,624 the truck still contained marks all over the from their inspection. The experience I had with this body shop was very unprofessional if a vehicle is sitting in the body shop and has not been taken apart or sent out anywhere how is it retuned with more miles then it had when it was towed to the shop but also how can you send emails claiming things are not related when you never sent the truck anywhere to be diagnosed the vehicle was dropped off 3/25/2026 at 8:00am I picked up the vehicle 3/26/2026 3:50 pm with my truck containing 4 extra miles on it how does that occur if a truck was just sitting at a shop and never went anywhere that's very suspicious activity if the vehicle never moved outside the shop

My daughter, who is on my insurance was directed to this shop by the at fault carriers. We are…read moreonly in the initial stages of dealing with this shop but so far employee communication with my daughter has been poor. Since she was overwhelmed by her encounter with them, I decided to call the shop myself. Upon speaking to two different employees I found the first conversation to be borderline incoherent which required me to ask the employee to stop speaking so quickly and to explain the contradictory statements she was making. The second employee, ( Amber) while more articulate, peppered statements at me with an almost adamant refusal to let me get a word or question in edgewise. Yes. I was finally able to by interrupting and repeating myself over and over. Personally, I find it highly irrational to sabotage what appears to be a relatively decent shop ( according to the reviews) with such bad customer service. Some points to remember: 1. Greeting customers by telling them they are probably at the wrong shop ( in site of the fact that they are at the shop the insurance carrier sent them to ) and speaking in a belittling tone to customers for not knowing the correct terminology is not a good start and shows an ineptitude in appropriate communication skills. ( yes I am talking to you dark haired lady) 2. People who are seeking services from an automotive shop do not understand the workings of your shop so as to not need more than a peppering of facts or outright incoherence. You need to slow down and effectively communicate whether or not you're in a hurry or are so bored with your employment that you just want to get through explanations quickly. ( just conjecture here.. but why exactly were you so rude? ) Breathe. Take time to not only speak. Listen. Watch your tone. No one likes to be spoken down to. Anything else comes off as overbearing, rude, and quite honestly somewhat suspect. 3. As someone who works with an at fault insurance carrier, be mindful that the person in front of you is already overwhelmed and may be experiencing processing difficulties due to the accident. There is no need to overwhelm them more than they already are. Remember, they are the victim here and probably don't want to have to talk to you about an estimate any more than you do. 4. Additionally, pressuring my daughter to sign papers by just giving her the last one to sign and " telling" her what is on the other pages after she has asked to see them all is unacceptable... ( anyone see a red flag here? ) Yes. You eventually let her see them. But seriously. What was up with that? I write this in the sincere hope that this shop will up their game and that this initial contact with them will not be indicative of the work they will do on our car. Come on... earn some stars. Update on customer service. After my experience I reached out to the local and home office via email to clarify that for obvious reasons I was not interested in being bulldozed once again on the phone. Feeling that communicating via email would be a more efficient way to secure bilateral rather than unilateral communication, I had hoped that this company would respond accordingly instead of continuing to call me and outnumber my daughter by having the rude employees present when the manager ( Daniel) brought up the subject when my daughter went to pick up the car. To once again clarify. I am willing to communicate about this issue via email and email alone. Amber, after info dumping on me even when I repeatedly attempted to ask for clarification ( I had to say the same word over and over even while you continued to rattle on) and then informing me that you told Stephanie all this, ( after I had just witnessed how difficult you made comprehension due to your speed) and then your shop calling me twice ( after I had emailed you that I was not going to give you the opportunity to talk over me again) is it any wonder that I didn't return your call? To be heard, you need to listen as well. Why don't you just chew on that awhile? I believe that the rude women at this shop owe both my daughter an apology . My daughter should not have been made to feel bad ( verge of tears) when she was already overwhelmed and in pain after the accident. Is this the kind of customer service that you are so proud of? Your shop could have and should have done much better. Kimberly

So I arrive for the appointment and they said I would have to bring the car back because it has to be put on a rack for inspection and I would have to make another appointment to bring it back to do that. I said that's what I did over the phone and that's what I'm here for for the inspection on the rack. Yet they said you have to bring your car back for another appointment. I'm not sure why I even came in that first day because it was just to make another appointment. Pretty much wasted my time that day. Not very welcoming to customers. Kinda felt like they didn't want my business. I was very polite with them and didn't loose my cool. So I made another appointment and brought it back. I dropped my car off for inspection this morning . My appointment was at 8:30am to drop off my car. I arrived at 8:15am and the office staff that check you in didn't appear to be that busy. But the person that was supposed to check me in said to wait because the computer was warming up. Yet they kept working on the computer preparing other repair orders. After 20 minutes they finally decided to check me in. Also when I brought my car in a week ago they made me wait over 30 minutes just to be told I had to bring it back for another appointment. I just didn't feel very welcome at all. If they are that stressed out with the work they do then maybe it's not the best job for them. Now I am bit concerned about my car being in their care. I will add to this review as things progress. Update to review: I just picked up the car and before going in to settle the bill I was greeted by the manager while I was looking at my car. I went over the situation with him and he was very helpful. When I went inside to check out it was much different situation than the previous two occasions. They were much more helpful. The manager was very helpful answering and listening to my concerns.

The one on Sunnyside wasn't like this. Went in for a very small repair. Which they did a good job repairing but they introduced other issues. Poor clear coat polish. Then introduced swirl marks after they repolished. Then they left scratches at the edge of that panel. I had to go back twice and the scratch I decided not to waste my time and polished it myself at home. Additionally, they left a lot of peeled 3M tape in the area where it was removed from. Some even got into the car's water drains. I had to vacuum those out myself. They also installed a badge loose; it was wobly. Other things: Took 4 working days to confirm my policy with my insurance. I had to call back and follow up. Realizing they didnt do anything, I called my adjuster to call them to confirm my limits. Emails took longer than it should to get a reply. I found out my contact went on vacation. The next contact left the job. Maybe it was just bad timing or maybe it was poor management. Office staff was nice once they started working with you and they were always willing to make things right. The extra time used to bring the car back and to get things rolling was unnecessary. None of these things happened the last 3 times I went to the one on Minnewawa or in the far past the one by Blkstone/Bullard or the one out on west Shaw.
