I was shocked by the previous review! Mark at Steves Tree Service could not have been more prompt, courteous, and reasonable! I called him on a Mon, he came to my house on Tues to look at the tree and give me a bid, and the tree was down and removed by Wed. It was a large tree that died over the winter, it was very difficult to get to and not easy to remove. They worked quickly, and carefully when removing the tree. Several people in our neighborhood have used Steves, we have also used them before an always been extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. I would highly recommend Steves! read more

Didn't bother to show up for estimate appointment. Called them and requested an appointment 2.5 weeks out. They said okay we'll send someone Friday 8/14 in the afternoon. Waited all afternoon. They left a message that they wouldn't be able to make it Friday but would come Saturday afternoon. Mark (Steve's boy) called me at 11:30 a.m. but since I wasn't expecting a call until the afternoon I missed the call....no voicemail was left. Noticed the missed call and called back-left another message. Talked to Steve at 1:15. He complained that I'd missed their call when they'd planned to head over and that he'd have to come out. He'd call when leaving his house. Waited until 4:15 - got no call from him and had wasted yet another day waiting. In frustration I texted him saying 'forget it' don't want to do business with unresponsive contractors. He texted right back 'OK'. Run don't walk away from doing business with Steve's Tree Service unless you want to waste 2 precious days waiting for someone to show up. Look for someone who is actually customer centric, a good communicator, and actually knows how to use a calendar for appointment scheduling. Never again!!!! read more

Awesome experience, he stopped by to give a estimate on a big dead Popper tree, agreed on the price. Which was not $1500 like other tree services. Stopped out Saturday morning and made quick work of a very problem tree. Very professional treated my neighbor and myself with great respect. read more
