I was…read morereally excited to get his photos done because we'd gotten our first sons pictures done by her and they turned out absolutely amazing and we had a pleasant experience at that shoot. However, this shoot was far from pleasant. It was to the point Shannon was down right RUDE & NASTY towards my 14 day old baby!!!! It was insane her attitude the entire shoot!!!! She had to be joking right???? My first son was bottle fed and took a pacifier and clearly didn't mind being put in poses, however, our newest addition was breast fed and never had a pacifier, so he easily woke and didn't necessarily like being posed. This seemed to ANNOY Shannon and oh boy did she act ANNOYED during the session!!! For $1000 for this session you'd think she would show a little more professionalism! She didn't!! She was patting his back extremely hard, getting frustrated and pulling away from him, pulling down her masks and making snide comments, and even on the last shot my son moved out of place and she slams her camera down and yells I'm done!!!! I thought to myself "you're joking right?" She was seriously upset with my 2 week old baby! It was very uncomfortable and my brother who accompanied me noticed. Like lady get some patience!!! Not all babies are the same and some may be a little more of a challenge to shoot but this is your profession, she claims to have been doing this for over a decade, and she's compensated very well for this!!!! I was highly upset & didn't say anything until now because I didn't want it to affect the turn around time of my pictures!! But I am done with Shannon Leigh Studios. I will no longer patronize this business or refer anyone here. She DOES NOT have the temperament to work with babies! Also, she'll tell you she was a daycare/kindergarten teacher for years & I feel awful for those poor children if she acted the way she did in this shoot to those babies as well! BEWARE!!!!!!!

I can't begin to adequately describe how awesome this venue is for weddings. Let's start with the…read moreteam. Terry and her team do everything they can to make sure you have a great experience there. It starts with the vendor showcase sessions she has to ensure you have great options for photography, bar, catering, etc. to the items she has available for use, at no extra charge, and goes all the way through day of where a full team of people make sure everything is covered. While this may have been my first (and only!!) wedding planned I do have numerous friends who have used the same wedding planner and she (our planner) kept raving about how well of a partnership it was in working with Terry's team. Additionally, since they only book one wedding per weekend you get the entire place available for both the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding. You don't need to "figure out" when and where to have the rehearsal and dinner. As a plus we had the rehearsal dinner in the outside patio area which made that experience feel different than the wedding even though they were at the same location. Very nice!! As for the venue, you couldn't ask for a better layout. The setting for the marriage ceremony is absolutely beautiful but that alone is selling it short. At most of the other wedding venues I have been to the lounge area (outside of the reception space) seemed like an afterthought and once the reception started all activities were in one area. This makes it difficult to separate those who want to dance and have a good time vs those who would love to catch up with old friends or relatives. At White Fox Cottage there is ample room and seating outside of the reception hall to allow for this while still holding the feeling that everyone was at the same event. I absolutely loved having the ability to float between these two areas. As you look around for wedding venues for yourself I would highly recommend you start here. I am willing to bet the bar will be set high enough that no one else will match the standards Terry and her team set.

Beautiful and gorgeous outdoor venue and one of the prettiest places for an event I have ever been to despite my bias as dad. Water features (manmade creek and waterfalls), outdoor activities for the guests like a small fire area and space for cornhole boards, lots of seating, large covered area with fans in case of rain. Large wooded property that is very well maintained. Really nice groom and bridal preparation areas with lots of mirrors, space to hang things, fans and a/c. Grooms area had a pool table, dart board, big screen tv, couches and place to get ready and eat also with a fridge. Golf cart also was a big help for guests we had with mobility issues. Bridal prep area had multiple chairs for the ladies to get makeup and hair done with bright lighting and mirrors. Large dance floor, lots of provided tableware and dinnerware and linens. Very nice tables and chairs. Good vendors with experience they work with available also for food and beverages. Shuttle brought guests from parking to the venue building before and after the ceremony. Never felt rushed or wanting for anything. Would 100% recommend, not too far from Atlanta and lots of nearby hotels for your guests. Thank you Terry and Roxan, we appreciate all you did for us.
