Lots of activities and fundraisers throughout the year: Christmas tree sale, food truck fest, a gala, etc. And, a huge expansion/renovation this year. A beautiful new cafeteria, completely rebuilt classrooms in the big building, and more. A new playground and play area out front, study alcoves, gifted area, computer stations, etc. Well thought out and flexible. The teachers and students are thrilled.

This district has no common sense with many things, but today, it is because they will not begin…read moreschool after Labor Day, and they do not have A/C, so they just cancel school. It would be rare for June to be so hot, so why not start school in Sept and go into the second week of June. Then the kids can spend the hot month of August at the pool instead of sitting in a hot classroom or at home--both of which are unproductive and miserable!
