I booked seal coating and after numerous rain delays was scheduled for Mon morning at 8:30 a.m. or first job. I rec an email stating this: "All vehicles need to be off the driveway by 8:30 am. We may not be there at 8:30 am as we do numerous jobs per day." I went outside at 7:00 to walk my dog & they pulled up in the street. I yelled to them that they said 8:30 or later & that I still had to get my car out of the garage. I thought they yelled back, "No problem". Then they turned the truck around and left! (If I hadn't been outside @ 7:00 am & they did the job, my car would have been stuck in the garage for 2 days!) When they didn't return, I called their office & spoke to Lisa 3x that day. She said that she would call me back as soon as she heard from the guys. No return call that day. I emailed. No response. The next day when I still hadn't heard back, I called & left a msg. No response. I realize that I had been ghosted by this company. Initially, I had been impressed by Steve & Lisa's timely responses to my questions by phone & email. Based on that, I hired them. Truly, I am bewildered by this lack of response & now realize that I may have dodged a bullet. If no response is their response to a scheduling misunderstanding, I can't imagine if there had been a problem after job completion??!! It's simply puzzling why they think this is a good business practice.

Stay away from this company. All they have are excuses on their poor quality job. The first time…read morethe came out 2 years ago they did a decent job but when question as to why they did not seal the cracks like it was stated on the quote I got that they did not really need too. They just gave me a bunch of excuses and did not want to seal the cracks. I was ok with that but this year when they came out I pointed out the cracks and let them know that I want them sealed like the invoice states this time and they did but the job looks terrible. I agree with Jimmy that the sealer was watered down and thin this time. Mike told me that they are having a hard time getting this product so they are diluting it to get more jobs done. Mike would not even come out and walk the job with me because he knows that is what they did. He claimed that the neighbors used a cold tar sealer not like the more expensive eco sealer and I check with the neighbors Sealer company and they also used the ECO sealer as required in Michigan just more excuses and lies. Beware!! I will see them in small claims court.

Action Asphalt paved two of my neighbor's driveways and did a great job, so I had them quote on…read moremine. The price was fair and so we hired them to repave our drive. We have a long and steep driveway. I asked if they could do something to reduce the grade for easier use in the winter. They removed 12 truckloads of clay and reduced the grade considerably. They also widened it as well as paved our extra parking area and the path to our deck from the drive. The job was done very well and in a timely manner. Also, I was impressed that the owner was on site for much of the job, helping his crew. Very professional and quality conscious. I would highly recommend Action Asphalt to anyone.
