Trevyn is the best masseuse I have ever had. He is so great I came for a 90 minute on Saturday and came back again for a couple massage with my husband on Monday. He really know how to get to the spots and release to pressure. The place is really nice and the price is more than reasonable. I had a gift certificate from my sister who lives out of town. I am new to St George and enjoyed 2 massages. Unfortunately, the old guy at the desk and on the phone is so rude and abrasive that he ruins the experience. Also, he doesn't honor Groupons although advertises through them. It is unethical for him to do that. Now I have to seek a refund from Groupon. There are enough great massage places. St George Massage is horribly uncomfortable. Who needs that? read more

After tweaking my shoulder and neck on a long plane ride, I was desperate for some relief. I booked an appointment online for an hour long massage the next day. Krystal was incredible. She focused on working out knots in my shoulders and neck. She used enough pressure and was really responsive to my needs and pains, which has been an issue for me at other spas. We come here for an anniversary couples massage and this time was extremely underwhelming!! Paid for 1.5 hour massage but massage only lasted 1 hour 5 minutes. Both therapists were robotic and in a hurry to get out of there. My wife's therapist just rushed out and said "drive safe". The therapist who did mine approached me in the hall immediately following my massage wanting to discuss the fine print of my Groupon. We won't be back! read more

I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I cannot speak to the quality of the massage because we decided to take our business elsewhere. I scheduled an appointment in advance, and they called and cancelled on me the day of because they "thought she was coming in that day, but turns out, she wasn't scheduled". Okay, fine, things happen. We already hired a baby sitter, but I guess we will just, not celebrate our anniversary today. I didn't know my schedule at the time and called back later to reschedule. The guy was very, very rude. He didn't believe me that they cancelled on us, and wouldn't let us schedule for that day because we had a groupon. In a very rude tone, he said, quote, "well if you had just gone through us, you could've gotten the time you wanted for the same price." I understand we paid less, but he was extremely rude about it. If you don't like those who pay through groupon, just don't use groupon? But this isn't even the worst part. When it came to the day we rescheduled the massage for, we found out our grandmother died. When we called and let them know what happened, they were extremely rude to us, and literally shamed us for having a death in the family on the day of our massage. In response to I'm sorry, our grandma died and we need to be with family, he said: "well we already hired baby sitters so it's not really our problem." He then proceeded to charge us a cancellation fee, even though they cancelled on us with no punishment after we had already hired baby sitters. I was absolutely shocked. I have now paid for TWO couples massages and recieved ZERO massages. These people do not deserve your business, I encourage you to get your massages elsewhere. read more

Well I booked a 90 minute massage of Groupon hoping to relax and feel better but that just didn't happen ! The therapist used her forearm the whole time on my back not relaxing at all ... used her elbow straight down my spine also not relaxing at all ... when it was time to do my legs I thought maybe finally she would use her hands to do the massage but no used her forearms once again ! Touched my feet for like one minute didn't massage arms our feet told me to flip Over and no hot towel was provided (have had tons of massages before they all use a hot towel on the flip not here though ) The front part of the masssge was a teeny bit better when she worked my neck for prob 3 minutes a sad excuse for a scalp massage and then back to the forearm work on my legs and touched my feet for maybe 1 minute. When the masseuse did use her fingers it was short not smooth movements jerky and not relaxing at all ! The worst part was when I got of the table my neck was and still is in serious pain and huge headache not what u expect after getting a massage smh .. Very disappointed in what I received I may come back if I have someone who actually knows how to give a relaxing massage ! I came into St. George on a Thursday morning in order to run the St. George Utah Marathon on Saturday. I had been having a problem with the left side of my neck, shoulder, and down my arm that I needed to get worked out before I ran my 26.2 mile race a few days later. I had Suzanne as my massage therapist. She was great. She said she had 17 years of experience. She explained that she felt the source of the tension, and then worked it out. She told me that she didn't want to go too deep so that I wouldn't be sore for the race, but instead was trying to increase circulation and relax the muscles around the area. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience from the phone call to book the appointment all the way through to the end of the massage, and my pain was greatly reduced. I ran a 3:05 marathon that Saturday without any shoulder pain, so I was happy. I would use St. George Massage again. P.S. I decided to look for any discounts online given the $85 price tag. There was a Groupon. BEWARE!!! Major bait and switch going on there. The Groupon says to check for availability. It doesn't say that it isn't good for certain days of the week and for a bunch of their therapists. In any event, when I presented my voucher, grouchy front desk guy was VERY rude and condescending. He told me that "common courtesy" would of had me tell him I had a voucher when I booked. He also told me that they do 20,000 hours of therapy and I told him they clearly don't want or need my business.....and they act like it. read more

While my husband and I were on the last day of our Honeymoon, we went to StGeorgeMassage for a 90-minute couples massage. First, I can tell that this business runs on a schedule, which I appreciate! Although we came late to our appointment (and I wasn't expecting them to keep with the 90-minute plan), and the boss was a little upset, they still spent the ENTIRE 90-minutes massaging EVERY knot out of us. They were super sensitive to our needs and were a prime example of professionalism and personable in the same setting. The music was gorgeous to listen to and we weren't uncomfortable for one minute! They have special rooms that you can choose from, and even though we were late, they still let us use the EXACT room we had hoped for (although I wouldn't expect that every time, of course). Called last minute and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes. Not only did I get in last minute but normally when I book last minute you get a mediocre massage therapist. This was not the case. My massage therapist was Lora. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. She worked on my "speed bumps" and "boulders in my shoulders". The plus is she didn't talk. Too many therapists want to chit chat and it drives me crazy. Not this girl. Just talked to ask questions about the massage. I will definitely be back on my next visit to St. George. read more

I failed to mention that after the interaction with the rudest woman I've ever met, the man called me back and I explained that I certainly understood a cancellation fee (especially so last minute) and that I wasn't upset about that, I was upset because the woman was so rude. He very defensively told me that the woman was his friend and colleague of many years and that I was rude for calling her rude and that they didn't want my business anyways, followed by a dial tone. After reading through some of the comments that the man has posted on other reviews, this is apparently not an uncommon attitude. My massage therapist, Lisa Jackman, was amazing! I was so relaxed and she did a great job relieving the tension I was feeling in my neck and back. After the results from Sarah's massage stayed with me all week I decided to extend my trip a day so I could see her again. I've suffered with pain and swelling of my left knee from a slip and fall for months. I now have more range of motion and less inflammation and pain than was achieved by months of physical therapy. My whole body got a tune up that has stayed with me. Sarah is far more than a gifted massage therapist. She is a true healer. An additional plus, the center was beautiful. The rooms were quiet and larger than average. There was an inner waiting room with soothing music and nature videos and comfortable furniture to relax on before or after your massage. The staff including the co-owner Chris was kind and the prices are highly competitive. I'd say St. George Massage is right up there with the destination spas I've visited in the US. I will return whenever I am in St. George. read more

My husband and I were looking for a great place here in St. George to get a massage. We read the reviews and were pleased by what we read. However, our experience was not anywhere near what others had said about this place. Very rude on the phone...did not listen or seem to care about what we were asking. We got the address off the internet and it was incorrect, and when we asked for it over the phone, they were extremely rude as to get angry with us and withheld the address and instead try to explain how to get there (which made no sense as we were out of towners). Once we arrived, we felt like we were guilted into having a massage even though we were going to cancel. Plus, Mike the therapist was the one we spoke with on the phone and he ended up telling us he wasn't who we spoke with. Definately did not appreciate being lied to. Both my husband and I were not pleased by the massages we received. Very mediocre. I've had numerous massages and this place definately does not meet up to par. Also, once you walk in the building, the rooms are right off the entryway...not very private or quiet. read more
