A bust of 'David' that is actually a planter. I felt since there is a David in town and I have seen the real one, it was time for me to add one to my art/souvenir collection. They were super nice to pack it for my continued roast trip and it successfully made it home in one piece! One oddity- I asked the guy behind the counter about the towns David and he told me a false narrative. Buy the goods not their stories.

You can't touch it, but it's cool to see. I love the cards selection there. So many! (I keep the post office in service and actually write people the old fashioned way.) ^_^ Staff are friendly and can help you check out / find what you seek, if anything. Some of the prices are pretty pricey The service here is pretty helpful and definitely this place earns to be called 'Family place" You know - a spot you can sit with your family and have a sugar rush for about 40 - 50 minutes. I believe we were told this is a non-profit and we found a good selection of native-made and native culture items to include pipes made by the makers demonstrating their craft at the monument. My experience with this store has not been great when it comes to watches…read more The watch currently runs worse than what it did when I brought it in as it only works for about 5-10 seconds max before it stops. It is effectively a paperweight or worse, garbage. Your customer service is not good considering how many times I had to keep checking in on you to keep things moving along. You forgot about my watch and let it sit in your store, you forgot about me, and worst, charged about $500 to work on a watch which your contracted watch repairman did not fix. Neither you nor the watch repairman called me to extend funds. You just brought it back as is because everyone knew they were out of their league for this repair. I looked your employees right in the eyes and said if your watch guy can't do the repair then don't take the job. You never told me that, not even now, and you proceeded to tell me he could handle it. Your stories don't add up because I talked with him. Let's introduce them so everyone has some skin in this game: Anderson Horology. He posted my watch shortly after "fixing" it like some kind of a triumph, even though he neglected to tell his facebook audience the watch was little more then a paperweight. You told me you ran out of money to do the spring calculation. He told me he did not want to work on it further because he felt it would damage the historical value of the watch? He made many parts that go inside the watch. So you see the multiple levels of hypocrisy here. It's a cheap throw away excuse you use when your in over your head and have charged a customer to work on something. You guys couldn't even tell me what work was done *consistently* so you handed me his FB account to try and wash your hands of the issue. My normal watch repairman took a look at Andersons work and he tells me a different story that is much more grim for both of you though he knows where his limits are when it comes to repairs. Very sad and pathetic; I expected more from everyone involved. I will not recommend or bring anything back to Bechtolds or Anderson Horology anytime soon.
