Very tasty food, an interesting fusion cuisine of Japanese and danish with a huge variety of dishes. The menu has a lot of platters and items catered to sharing in groups, so it's not a great place for the solo diner. They do have a few salads and sides in addition to sushi, grilled sticks and sashimi platters. The restaurant is really modern and clean inside, and you can book online very easily, they have big round tables for large parties and a kids menu too. The service was very efficient and the food arrived quickly. The downside is the price, it's extremely expensive but that's to be expected from a Japanese restaurant in London.

This review is about their new Victoria outlet. The food is good, with lots of fusion dishes, especially salads. However, for the price charged, the fish in the sushi/sashimi is not the freshest, and the yakitori sticks are all a tad too sweet. Long drinks list, with their own brews. They do impose a 12.5% service charge, although service is not terribly pro-active. Still an improvement over existing pseudo-Japanese eateries in the area (like Wasabi, Itsu, Wagamama).

    Their sake glasses are awesome.

While the decor shows the owner's Danish roots, the sushi and yakitori we had was absolutely delicious. They also serve quite a wide selection of sake, so if you'd like to try something a little different, they've got you covered. The menu offers either pick-and-mix style a la carte or a number of single or sharing set menus to choose from. Vegetarian dishes are plentiful and do not disappoint, if you prefer that. A great conclusion to a great day in Greenwich.

Danish sushi is quite a treat.

This sushi restaurant from Copenhagen uses a different variety of ingredients, especially vegetables to create a unique experience. Definitely flavor combinations I haven't experienced in the San Francisco area sushi restaurants, definitely worth a detour during your visit to Greenwich. Casual, not very expensive.

What a beautiful Sushi Bar, the owners are from Denmark:)

You know going in here that the quality probably isn't going to be good. Straight away it violates two rules of good dining: 1) Pan anything is usually pretty poor, 2) A huge menu that doesn't make any choices is probably going to suffer. We ordered one of the set menus. As far as I could tell, this place dedicated to "sticks" and "sushi" had no "tuna" or "negima" on the menu at all which is pretty weird to start but we definitely tried to find them. Instead, salmon seemed to be the fish of choice and all of the ala carte skewers were at exorbitant prices; note that a much more delicious yakitori anything in Japan costs about 100-200 yen, not 1500 yen, but ok. Instead of beloved tuna we received red pepper nigiri as part of our set menu - what? There was a chicken roll that was kind of like a grilled chicken salad in rice paper that was OK. Etc. The quality of the fish in the nigiri wasn't bad but they have no idea how to make sushi rice here so I would avoid nigiri all together and just stick to sashimi if you're going to order from the sushi side of the menu. Oh and my 350ml bottle of junmai cost 49£, which was pretty typical for the sake prices here. So yeah, if you're visiting from the States set your sights on "Suburb Mall Court Fusion" with a bill around 200 bucks and you'll have an idea of what you're in for. Avoid it.

I'd highly recommend this to anyone and please be sure this business survives because it is magic in the forest.

The concept of mixing Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors is really unique and you can see it throughout the menu. The sushi was very fresh and well presented, and the small plates were great for sharing. I especially enjoyed the creative combinations and the attention to detail in the dishes. The cocktails were also excellent and very well balanced. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, it's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience make it worth it for a special occasion or a fun night out.

Unfortunately, it was rather inconsistent execution in both the front and back of house. We waited ten minutes at the table without someone present. After pointedly looking around the dining room for anyone to come by, someone finally asked if we'd been helped. He was not particularly friendly and did not apologize for the wait, but did help us place our order and mentioned that food would arrive as it was prepared. Food service was prompt after that with robata items coming out quickly (~6 minutes after ordering), followed by the arrival of salad immediately after finishing the robata. Our shared large plate came out shortly afterwards, but they did miss serving the second bowl of rice that we had initially ordered. As for specific dishes, only one was fully balanced and the others had good elements but also missing parts to complete their respective flavor profiles. Robata - Duck Breast - Duck was tender and well cooked with nice textural contrast from crushed macadamia nuts - Tamarind sauce was sweet and very flavorful - Accompanying hominy was prepared very well - Seasonal offering Robata - Sweet Corn with Jalapeño Butter & Lime - American corn seems generally sweeter with more plump kernels - Too lightly buttered and minimal to no jalapeño notes Large Plate - Mushroom Tobanyaki - Unexpectedly butter forward, even with yuzu soy and truffle ingredients - Missing yuzu flavor to balance the butter - Truffle was so minimal that it was essentially not noticeable - Quite disappointing, as this is a menu staple at their Las Vegas location that is typically bursting with flavor complexity Salad - Green - Flavorful sesame dressing - Lightly salted wakame tempura provided great crunch and textural contrast - Dressing distribution was imbalanced Mocktail - Lychee Lemongrass Collins - Sweet and refreshing - Light, spicy finish from chilis Overall, it was a disappointing dining event when there are so many great options in the city and compared to another location within the chain. It wasn't a terrible experience to avoid, but one that was rather lackluster and forgettable.
