The woman taking the breath test was pushing and pushing for a higher reading, until I finally said that that's it, there is no more. The doctor took x-rays and listened to my lungs. I had already been diagnosed with scarring in both lungs in the 80's. He was extremely unprofessional and short with his answers. The whole screening by him took about 10 minutes. I left thinking that I wasted my time. After waiting almost a year, I was finally contacted by mail with settlement offers that were extremely poor. I was also told that 3 doctors examined the X-Rays and only 1 found a spot on one of my lungs. None of them found scarring which I have known about for decades. Bevan takes 33% for fees and charged me $597.00 for the 7 minute exam. All 3 of the so-called doctors get a fee for reading the X-Rays, then there is the cost of the X-Ray and a breathing test. Long story short, this is a scam as they take 50% of the small amount that you may get to cover all of the fees. 12 settlement amounts and just a little over $1200.00 to me. The rest went to Bevan and they are not done with the fees.
