As the gentleman proceeded to ask me questions, I interrupted. I want to ask you questions before I go into detail about my situation. If I call is anyone going to know who I am or am I just a number? How many automated systems am I going to have to navigate to get through to ask questions? Is anyone actually going to call me back? He instantly said, I have the perfect Attorney for you and there's no need to answer any questions from me. A few minutes later Nomiki called me and I'm so grateful she did. She was an answer to one of my prayers. She took her position very seriously and guided me through everything start to finish almost 5 years later. She paid attention to every detail big or small and sometimes just listened to me cry when she felt like I really just needed someone to listen. I know I would not have made it through all of this without her. To her husband and children, Thank you for allowing me to interrupt baking cookies for church and for the answered calls even when your family were on vacation, a gathering, the gym and even the DC trip. When I called the intake coordinator at Elk & Elk, she was rude, and said "This is not a case we would take. Do you even know what the survivability rate is for stage 4 lung cancer?" Of course we know. What a thing to say to the wife of someone with stage 4 lung cancer. As if, oh well, his survivability chances are not great, so we won't waste our time. Well, then it is a possible wrongful death lawsuit. Thankfully there are more empathetic, caring firms out there whose coordinators are properly trained to deal with grave illnesses, the people and their caregivers trying to cope with them, and who can see the errors could have been fatal, or still could be, but they were egregious errors, nonetheless. A blast in the face reminding us of how fragile he is, especially after the standard of care was deviated from not once but twice was not at all what we needed. They may be a great law firm for a lot of folks, but the manner in which we were treated when we called about his case was ruthless and did nothing except raise anxiety and fears already present.

I corresponded through their chat feature explaining my entire situation (mother passed away) and was then told they'd forward me to a lawyer. I received a condescending email, text and phone message saying they don't do probate and I need to do a google search and go down the list to find a website that "actually says they do probate" like I'm some kind of idiot. That's a direct quote. Not only was that offensive, but their website explicitly states that they do assist with probate. I chatted with one of their agents via chat for 5 minutes and explained the entire situation -could not that agent have expressed that they don't do probate? I would never recommend this firm based in this experience.

I filed a personal injury claim with the help of NSR law. Upon the time of my hearing, I was…read morerepresented by a underling paralegal who on both of my hearings came completely unprepared and was of no help in representing me. This caught me off guard the first hearing, as I expected her to have some knowledge of what she would be talking about, instead, I got someone who fumbled through the hearing and it was denied without question. The denial letter was a total of 5 sentences showing the length or lack there of on there decision to deny me. The 2nd hearing I had I wasn't going to let this happen again. I brought all of my own evidence and arguments and didn't even utilize this failure of a paralegal. I addressed the council, combatted the opposing lawyers points and raised my own arguments. This would ultimately result in a denial letter of two pages when them frequently citing "burden o proof" something I had no knowledge of, but if I had a competent team behind me, they may have been able to address that point. The team would ultimately convince me to settle to which they still felt like they were entitled to half after being of exactly 0 help to my case. Completely felt like I brought this legal team on for 0 gain what so ever. Beyond that, they have had there dick in there hands for over two years at this point and I still haven't received payment. I will never suggest a fuck up of a "legal team" like this to anyone, it is a fucking joke on all accounts.
