It might not be the most fashionable, but these are good quality clothes. This is also the only place in Hamburg which doesn't double the price just because something is aimed at babies! Spread over 5 floors, take your time because there are some treasures to be found. As well as escalators, it also has lifts and wide aisles - perfect for push-chairs or wheelchairs. Well done C&A!

There's a lot of crap in here, and you'll probably feel a bit self-concious walking in, but it's the cheapest place to find clothes in central Hamburg that I know of

I went here to replace a tiny flat umbrella I got as a gift and lost. They had a very similar one, but the lady helping me pointed out that she prefers a different model, which was round and therefore slightly thicker, but much more robust. I got to try both and agreed. Walking into a store and walking out a mere three minutes later with something better and cheaper than what you were planning to buy, that feels awesome.
